The waffle structure is bound within a boundary surface. The horizontal waffle the formed via contouring the boundary surface and the vertical waffles are created by the division of the top and bottom edges of the surface. Round apertures are coordinated to fit in the center of opening created by the intersecting waffles.
The shell is designed to create a solid threshold between the stage and the external environment.
Opening created by the intersecting waffle structures.
Large steps designed for seating and transitional threshold towards the center stage. Smaller steps that functions as stairs down to the stage floor.
The apertures on the shell can serve as peepholes into the stage.

Flat, open stage floor that can be used for performance or small exhibits.
