Idee &Entwicklung The „ball pool“ idea based on the nomalen ball bath, in which children play in the childern‘s park. With the balls, users can simply immerse themselves into the bath so that they can solarize in 360 degrees. Each ball is a UV light device with OLED light source on the surface. The balls also have distance sensor and IR sensor, so that they can know each other‘s identity and location, then there is the expandability, all balls as a system to interact with the user. The original design is in a geometric shape with polygens on the surface. Because the shape is in the nutrient of Sphere, it is easy to integrate with function. As a prototype, the premodel is without functional problems, although aesthetically it is catastrophic, but after that it should be further developed.
Idee &Entwicklung
The Development of Polyhedron With the research of the polyhedron in Rhino 5 comes the variants that can interact with the points and the reflection on a sphere. The more possibilities there are, the better the form evolves. After that I chose the best ones and developed them further
7
Form Forschung Premodel is the necessary process of product design as it can show the possibilities to get the ideal shape. The polyhedron is an ideal direction for the „ball bath“, but with the premodel, there are several variants. The designer should consider this in order to balance the advantages and the disadvantages. With this form there is also the opportunity to integrate the robot system. As the design idea that, each ball as an independent unit can communicate with other balls, through IR sensor and distance sensor, with each other, so that all balls work as a self-organized system. The inner structure will function as one robot, with the location signal the robot can move on a surface.

Design &Ausstellung
In Ball‘s design, due to the product language, several curves are used, so the sphere looks soft to show accessibility and tactility. The goledene curves are not only patten but also the Matel structure, so that they can support the weight and stress, because the OLED surface is weak and easy to be destroied. The circuit board is hinged, then it can stick on the inside of the ball.

Ideen &Form-Research
Based on the directions of mathematical fractal, the ideas with the grid system have been further developed. In the rectangular grid system, the cell has been separated from each matching cell by the new rectangles with the bearings in the center. With the development we finally got the pattern, so that it can be developed into a 3-dimensional shape.
In order to realize the automation, the first idea with centralization structure, which consists of triangular modules, is raised, and thus cooling function and power distribution are integrated. The modular structure simplifies the traditional logistic and package system.
Design &Entwicklung
13
After researching the lattice system and fractal, the basic knowledge of modularity and automation is deeply understood. After careful consideration, the end development of the control cabinet came out with higher performance and lower costs. It consists of two parts: the shelf system and the robot system. The shelf system provides the workstations for the robot, which can climb on the surface of the shelf thanks to the four 3-dimensionally movable legs. With the camera and data chain, the robot will remain connected to the control system, allowing engineers and workers to control the status of the control cabinet behind the screen.
160mm
The scale of the shelving system is based on the size of the crossboard. Each cell is 600mm by 600mm with the holematrix in the background. With the help of the holematrix, with which the weight of the backboard is lighter, the shelving system can be cooled down quickly
600mm
14
Design &Entwicklung
The connection of the shelving system is the focus of the design. With the auto-developing algorithm, you get the minimum surface area from the connection. This improves the structure ideally for the movement of the robot.
600mm
The robot is integrated with the camera and support arms. The arms can support the component and then connect the line. In order to further develop the autoinstall system, the aesthetics and functional module of the component should be further designed. But this is not necessary for this project.

Sound Path Exhibition design with Senckenberg Museum Digital exhibits in the Natural History Museum The course deals with spatial, vivid, tangible and social communication formats in natural history museums using digital media. The design task is the communication of a scientific fact using authentic objects
Primary Research
We analyze parts of the existing permanent exhibition „History of the Earth“ and „Fossils of the pit Messel“ under the aspect of the interaction design. In the exhibitions under consideration, many of the revolutionary design tools that Wilhelm Schäfer brought into the museum at the end of the 1960s are still clearly recognizable. We analyze what we can learn from the utopia of the future for the future and how this content could be presented in a future permanent exhibition
17
The pit Messel in Messel is a disused oil shale open pit. Because of the excellent quality of the recovered there fossils from the Eocene in 1995 she was appointed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. So far, representatives of all vertebrate groups as well as insects and plants have been found there. The best-known representatives of the Messel fauna are probably the two early horse species Propalaeotherium and Eurohippus, of which more than 70 individuals have been excavated so far. Other important finds are the crane bird Messelornis cristata and Darwinius masillae („Ida“), an early primate

User Behavior &Measure Visitor Flow Visitor Flow is an immediate method to use the data collected by observing to research the obtention situation. With the statistical data we have found the hot spots in the showroom, which consists of five different locations, namely Volkan model, Revolutionary graphics, Earth history, insect and jungle, and the pit Messel. Due to the statistical data, most of the guests are children(50%). Most of the guests were visiting in the group(70%), especially in the group that escorted by the museum guide.

The information consists of three parts, text sounds and pictures. Compared to the other method, texts are ideal for visitors to have deeper information. With sounds and speech, visitors can more easily immerse themselves in the atmosphere. Visitors can get more visual information during the enjoyment of real exhibits. Visual information is definitely important too. With images and videos the environment is built up for imagination

Kinderwelt As Kant said, children are little people. Although the cognition of children is not yet as complete as adult, they have strong ability to recognize the new world. They have not yet as good capable of concentration as the adults, so we should distribute the same content in different contexts.
Inforzonen
Based on previous research, we have focused on sound interaction. In this way, we should know the address of the visitors and the relationships between visitors and exhibits, and then with the different definitions informations can be offered.
We have defined 3 zones for the sound. In the center is the exhibit, then zone one is with detailed information. Next there is zone two with the special points of the exhibit (barking of the dog). The third zone is after that with the sound of the living environment (the sea or the forest) In the second aspect, we thought of the movement of the visitor. If you return the third zone in 1 minute after leaving the zone, the speaking will pause and then continue. If the leave time is more than 1 minute, the speaking will be repeated.
If the zone intersects with each other, you can hear both sounds in both directions.

ROUND COURSE Rural Education Assistant System The project is about new concept of rural education. In the summer of 2013 I had a experience as a volumtary teacher in a village in Guangdong province. The primary research is based on this experience which had interview to the local people in the place. The experience brought me a strong impact to the situation of rural education in China. This bring me an oppotunity to rethink the whole education system and reconsider the improvement of it.

About
The most important element in this system is parent and family. From the research can we see a firm relationship of the growing environment and study. Most student who didn't have a good record in school alway have some problems in their family. School and government should also in charge of it.
The interview data mainly came from four people who works in the education field. They are all parents of children who studyed in the same middle school. From the interview we can see that the rural education problems are not only about the education itself also had a firm connection to the other element of the society e.g. the Left-over children. T h e g ra p h i c o n le f t s h ow s t h e m o st important elements related to the problem and how the connection complecated is. Each intersection means a problem in the place.
In the summer of 2013, I had a experience as a volumtary teacher in MeiZhou Guangdong where is surrounded by mountains. The research containning teaching experience and interviews of the local people.

Knowledge Mapping
The course design based on the research of the fundational knowledge whcih was taught to the students from grade 3 to grade 5. The purpose is t o c o m b i n e t h e k n o w le d g e points with the animation and interactive teaching together so as to enhance the situation of a course. There is an app actting as a controller of the hardware to integrate a round screen and a quick printer into a course. At the same time providing virtual and physical interaction for the teacher to enhance the course.
The app using a knowledge map to should students a clear structure of what they are going to learn. This make it possible for teachers and students to understand the relationship of old knowledge and new one. Also, they have been saperated and cataloged by subject which is much useful in searching.

Product Design
Ideas While thinking the form of the watch, the user situation was kept in mind. Totally different from the normal smart phone design, the watch has much more limitations for material and size. For instance, multi touch screen is not suitable for the user who wearing a watch with a screen smaller than 1.5 inch. Ipod shows an wonderful solution for the small square control: The Rotary Touch Ring.

UI Design
The user interface on a 1.5 inch screen is totally different from any previous. Here comes three principles for the visual design. 1. The size of letters and font should be reconsidered for being recognized at a short time and in a special distance. 2. No metter how many function and option can be choose, timing is always the first class of all the information. 3. The visual style should also fit the round screen as well as the user habit.
