About January Recruitment 2014 Overview January Recruitment is an annual event that AIESEC in NUS organizes to ensure the organizational continuity by attracting and selecting the suitable talents from a pool of NUS students who are interested in both Global Leaders as well as Global Citizen Programme (GL + GC). It plays an eminent role in the sustainability of the organization and publicity of AIESEC in the university. As a part of the Organizing Committee, you will develop relevant skills and gain a better understanding of Talent Marketing and Talent Selection in the AIESEC recruitment pipeline.

Objectives    

To identify and attract the most suitable candidate to AIESEC in NUS To inspire and prepare for the next generation of AIESECers To create more Global Citizen Exchange opportunities for NUS students To increase the awareness of AIESEC in NUS to the school

The OC size would be 7. The team structure may be subjected to changes made by the OCP. Each OC member will be responsible for one area as indicated above. However, the entire OC will be working as a team on every recruitment activity throughout the whole recruitment process. Therefore, all OC members will experience Talent Marketing and Talent Selection processes regardless of the OC positions.

OCP is required to be in Singapore physically by 9th Jan. All OC members are required to be in Singapore physically from 9th Jan onwards.


OC Position Job Description Organizing Committee President (OCP) *Application open for TM, GCDPo, GIPo department members (members whom are staying in these departments or whom want to transfer to these departments are eligible)

The OCP is responsible for:      

Overseeing the recruitment process Creating overall timeline and execution plan for the OC team Leading, setting team culture, motivating the OC team Ensuring the smooth delivery to enhance the experiences of all stakeholders involved Final responsible for achieving recruitment goals and key performance indicators Final responsible for the sustainability of the recruitment in terms of finance, logistics, operations and etc

Key Requirements: 

Able to be in Singapore physically from 9th Jan onwards

Marketing Director

*Application open to ALL members

The members are responsible for:  

Publicizing AIESEC and Global Leaders + Global Citizens recruitment to the selected NUS student population both online and offline Creating marketing strategies and materials while ensuring the materials are in line with overall branding and image of AIESEC

Key Requirements: 

Able to be in Singapore physically from 9th January onwards


OC Position Job Description Events Director

*Application open to ALL members

The members are responsible for:    

Crafting the Info Talk agenda Ensuring the content is strategic appropriate to be presented to the public Inviting speakers and making sure they are well-prepared Managing all recruitment activities’ process flow, including info talk and assessment centres  Oversee all the operations for Induction  Ensuring all venues needed for the recruitment are booked  Prepare logistics required for induction

Key Requirements: 

Able to be in Singapore physically from 9th January onwards

Human Resource Director

*Application open to ALL members

The members are responsible for:          

Scheduling manpower for all recruitment activates such as lecture bash, the LC and OC presence during info talk, assessment centres and the interview sessions Sourcing for internal and external interviewers Scheduling for interviewers and interviewees Budgeting for the recruitment and keeping track of receipts and claims Assisting the OCP in overseeing the recruitment process Documenting the recruitment process and uploading all the collaterals onto online workspace Gathering information/collaterals/debrief notes regarding previous recruitment Ensuring the smooth operation of recruitment activities, including info talk, assessment centres and interviews Ensuring timely delivery of various collaterals such as info talk registration forms, application form, interview slot allocation Keeping track of the attendance of all recruitment activities

The deadline for application will be on 4th Nov (Tue), 2359. 3. Interviews for OCP will be conducted on 5th to 7th Nov. The result of OCP will be announced 9th Nov. 4. Interviews for OC members will be conducted on 10th Nov to 14th Nov. The result of the entire OC will be announced on 17th Nov. 5. OCP is required to be physically present in Singapore from 9th Jan onwards. 6. OCP and OC members are required to be physically present in Singapore from 9th Jan onwards. Although physical presence is not required from before 9th Jan, high level of virtual presence is expected to ensure a smooth delivery of the recruitment.
