The Hershey Centre, Ice Rinks
THE HERSHEY CENTRE, ICE RINKS The success of the Hershey Centre Arena Complex led the City of Mississauga to once again engage our team as the design consultant to create expansion plans for the community rinks portion of this complex. This phase of the project involved the subsequent addition of two rinks located alongside the existing single pad rink, in accordance with the original master plan. The design of the new interconnected rinks is based on a central support spine, in a back-to-back configuration on two levels. The grade level supports the needs of the participants, providing access to change areas.
