The distinctive location and the view to the exhibition hall remains as a strong feature in the design . The lobby as the heart of the hotel offers a generous atmosphere and welcomes guests with the 2-storey hall resembling an oasis in the city, protected under a glass roof. The lobby includes the reception area, a coffee shop, as well as the direct connection to a gourmet restaurant and the business center.

DAMAC MAISON is a serviced residential apartment’s tower (1B + G + 5 Podiums + 1 Health Club + 39 Typical Floors + 3 Mechanical) at Burj Khalifa District in Dubai, UAE. The Total Built-up Area of the Project is estimated 689,242 Sq. ft. A well treated podium and randomized juxtaposition of different types of glass and multi colored Aluminum composite panels contribute to the façade of the building. The structural framework and cladding system of the tower had to be carefully designed to withstand the extreme temperatures of the region and to accommodate the wind pressures and seismic loads.

GULF HOTEL DESIGN PROPOSAL From the axis of the Main Boulevard, visitors are lead directly to the grand two-tiered waterfall entrance. The expansive facade of the Hotel stretches out on either side of the entrance while on either side of the main axis, there are two quiet communities made up of clusters of Chalets, jogging paths, water features and lush landscaping. Geared towards the maximization of waterfront projects, the Five-Star Resort design also features 5 VIP villas located on the beachfront, a Waterfront Club, a Marina, various piers and bridges which extend out into artificial lagoons and a winding Boardwalk.

GOLDEN TULIP DANA PEARL BAY Located within Colonel Samuel Smith Park adjacent Lake Ontario, this new secondary school and community centre is a jointly planned facility for the local School Board and City. This historic park is currently undergoing an extensive transformation and adaptive re-use of heritage building structures for cultural, educational and recreational public uses. The design concept for the 130,000 s.f. school is distinguishable by its compact form, and an attempt to create a series of smaller building components or “pods� that pin-wheel internally around a three-storey student forum.

PRINCE MANSOUR HOTEL APPARTMENTS Located on a plot directly across the royal palace in Jeddah, this hotel provides luxury accommodation and event facilities. Two towers dominate the building silhouette, one for the hotel and another for the serviced apartments. To soften the view from the palace, an elliptical shape was used for the hotel, while a more rectilinear form for the serviced apartments. A large event multipurpose hall occupies the ground floor, with separate entrances and facilities for male and female in respect of the Saudi culture.

The hotel’s classicist exterior surrounds a internal landscape courtyard, and is intruded upon only by the abstract shapes of modern conveniences business facilities and spas. Due to the increasing number of visitors and rising demand, an extension with Sauna Park, two additional pools and the a spa was added, phase I underwent an extensive refurbishment. After the re-opening end of 2003 the Mineraltherme offers its visitors 6 indoor and outdoor pools, 7 saunas and steam baths as well as beautifully landscaped outdoor areas and Spa facilities as well as various restaurants.

As part of the Westin Hotel Group’s recent program to market a luxury room experience, our role initially began with the redesign and remodeling of each room and suite to accommodate their new “Heavenly Bed” standard. This new room standard is intended to differentiate the Westin hotel experience from others in its price range. The renovation scope of the rooms included a complete re-design and re-selection of furniture, finishes and art.

PIA AREA 6A / 6B MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT STUDY With the impending completion of the new, flagship Terminal 1 at Pearson International Airport (PIA), this study examined the development potential of two large development blocks commonly referred to as Area 6A and 6B. Optimally positioned within the Greater Toronto Transit Authority owned lands, these development blocks are also serviced by a new Automated People Mover that links Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. LE MERIDIEN HOTEL/ CONVENTION CENTER The South 409 Lands at Pearson International Airport is the potential development site for this new hotel and convention centre project with links to the airport and the City beyond. Our concept plan is fundamentally based on the idea of “connections�, with direct links to the Viscount Station terminus of a new Automated People Mover (APM) rail system that connects riders to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The concept acknowledges the APM link as a key asset in creating a successful, high-density, mixed-use development along the lines of a Penn Station in New York.
