Academics Zeppelin University offers students, scholars, and members of staff the unique chance to develop their skills in such a way that they are able to reach their own goals and to find solutions to the challenges of our times. This is the orientation of all structures and processes of ZU : interdisciplinary, in an inspiring community, with a lot of room for personal development, and a great pioneering spirit. Study Programs Zeppelin University is interdisciplinary, yet at the same time rooted in academic disciplines. Incoming students are free to choose courses from any program. Location Friedrichshafen is located in the heart of Europe between Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It is a gateway hub into all countries of the European Union. Buddy Program Incoming students are supported by current students of Zeppelin University who guide them through university life and support them in their integration. Funding Incoming students who spend one or two semesters at Zeppelin University are not required to pay tuition. However, they are expected to support themselves financially while in Friedrichshafen. Average living expenses (including meals, rent, transportation) are € 600 – 800 per month. A few scholarships, e. g., Baden-Württemberg Scholarships, are available each year for incoming students. Please contact the International Office for more information. Extracurricular Activities Multiple sports from rowing to football are offered at Zeppelin University. Many student initiatives allow incoming students to participate in different kinds of clubs (such as politics, music, art). Housing All students reside in various apartments or rooms in the area. All apartments or rooms are furnished. The average rent is € 300 – 450 per month.
