Accounting Supervisor – 1 position in Vientiane (Head Office) Key Duties: y y Issue financial reports of Chaleun Agriculture monthly, quarterly, biannually and annually which includes the operations and activities of Chaleun Agriculture businesses and business activities in the head quarter. y y Check and examine the financial reports. y y Correct and/or adjust the financial reports to meet the requirement of IFRS and Lao accounting system, depending on what kind of reports needed to be issued. y y Coordinate and update the accounting work of the site where Chaleun Agriculture’s activities are. y y Support the accounting team at the site of Chaleun Agriculture related to accounting issues and support to solve the problem if any.
Qualification required: y y Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Business Administration; y y At least 5 years of professional accounting with private enterprise and/or financial institution is an advantage; y y Completion of Lao CPA course is preferable; y y Fluency in English and Lao with very good writing and oral skills; y y Excellent leadership and communication skills required; y y Good computer skills including MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other accounting software ; y y Ability to do multi tasks, work under pressure and meet deadline required.

JOB OPPORTUNITY FLEGT-VPA Project Manager WWF-Laos We are looking for an experienced Lao National to fill the position of Project Manager for Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) with WWF-Laos. WWF has been working in Laos since the late 1980s in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Our country programme office was first established in Vientiane, in 2001. Since then, our small team has grown to over 40 Lao, international and volunteer staff working on over 10 projects countrywide with offices in Vientiane, Champassak and Salavan provinces. WWF Laos’ vision is that by 2030, the human footprint stays within the country’s capacity to maintain the full spectrum of biological diversity and ecosystems, and the key services they provide, to enhance Lao people’s livelihood resilience and contribute to the sustainable conservation of the overall ecological integrity of the Greater Mekong region.
