BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION Incumbent serves as the Local Guard Force Commander. S/he is the senior supervisor for the entire FSN guard force and reports to the Regional Security Officer (RSO). Responsible for supervising all supervisors and guards, managing schedules, distributing and maintaining equipment, training new hires and ensuring compliance with orders, procedures and standards as set forth by the RSO and published documents.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION The incumbent reports directly to the Guard Force Commander and serves as a front line shift supervisor for the Embassy Guard Force. In addition, during each shift, the shift supervisor conducts Embassy and Warehouse post inspections and coordinates monthly emergency response drills. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing and understanding all applicable RSO and Guard Orders and Embassy Operational Plans. The incumbent prepares written evaluations for Embassy guards.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. 1. Education: Completion of Secondary School required. 2. Prior Work Experience: A minimum of five years supervisory experience. Language Proficiency: Level III English, good working knowledge necessary. Fluency in Lao speaking and writing required. 4. Administration Officer
Social and Environmental Division (SED)
Based at the THPC Site Office, Khammouane Province, this position assists the Senior Administration Officer and other SED line managers with coordination of all administration needs on site and in liaison with the Head Office.
Responsibilities y yCoordinate SED procurement procedures for goods and services in compliance with company policy y yLogistics management including vehicle allocation, use and maintenance y yManagement of SED site facilities including staff housing, field offices and support services y yLiaise with Human Resource team at Head Office on staff benefits, contracts and recruitment y yFacilitate SED business travel and staff entertainment events y yAssist with official visits to SED sites y yContribute to management of SED filing system and documentation quality control, including fixed-asset inventory management.
Qualifications y yBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field y yMinimum five years of experience in administration or related field y yGood inter-personal, communication and coordination skills y ySelf-motivation, with ability to multitask and work in a team environment y yKeen to learn and able to work under pressure or unsupervised y yGood command of English, both verbal & written y yEfficient use of Microsoft Office.
