APPLICATION CLOSED: 02 SEPTEMBER 2016 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Operate the facilities in a staff alternation, on a real time basis, in compliance with the contractual arrangement, company procedures and safety instructions;  Perform the routine maintenance, inspection and report;  Be on shift on Regulating Dam and Nakai Dam for fl ood management.  Support the Electrical and Mechanical Engineer for troubleshooting;  Participate in maintenance activities out of shift;  Prepare for the blocking/unblocking in relation with the Electrical and Mechanical Engineer. Operator will work in shift with three (3) shifts per day, 5 days a week, 2 days off. Normal working location will be NT2 Power Station. During the wet season, operator will be posted at the dam sites for water/fl ood releases management. QUALIFICATIONS:  University Degree and High Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;  Experience in the Hydro Power Sector is a plus. Candidates with experience in other industry sectors are encouraged to apply;  Non experienced candidates with high education and potential are also encouraged to apply;  Strong team spirit required, result oriented, creative minded individuals appreciated;  Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking) and knowledge of French is a bonus;  Good computer skills (Microsoft offi ce mandatory);  Willingness to learn new skills and techniques and to work in a remote site. 1. National Capacity Development Advisor (Full time)

Role: As a part of a multi-disciplinary team of advisors, each Capacity Development Advisor (CDA) manages a portfolio of relationships with civil society and government partners. The CDA engages with senior staff, junior staff, and other relevant stakeholders within the partner organisations to increase their capacity for peace and for strong and effective organisational governance, management and programming. This involves providing technical management, and program and organisational support through mentoring, coaching and/or training and workshops, in accordance with the Cord model and to meet identified, agreed needs. The CDA is expected to be conversant in a range of organisational development priorities and capable of sound diagnosis, critical thinking and analysis, and flexible, responsive service delivery. Location: The Capacity Development Advisor will be based in Cord Laos office in Vientiane with travel to the provinces and to South East Asia focus countries as requested.
