y Work directly with Government actors at national and provincial and district level to promote and provide advice on integration of nutrition within the agricultural sector plans and programmes y Provide support to MAF to develop capacities of key stakeholders to strengthen existing systems for monitoring nutrition-sensitive aspects of agriculture y Contribute to preparation of a detailed plan for policy assistance in support of ongoing policy processes through close collaboration with the relevant Government agencies : (i) at national level, in support of the formulation, review and implementation of nutrition-sensitive agriculture policies and programmes; (ii) at province level, in order to support the implementation of the NNSPA y Lead development of Lao language user-friendly reference packages on nutrition-sensitive agriculture, policy briefs, and guidelines for planning and reporting y Conduct assessments of capacity development needs and approach for agricultural organizational and human capacities at Province level, focusing on capacity for change management in nutrition policy processes y Provide facilitation support to delivery of capacity development programmes for those organizations and staff, including the provision of practices, tools and methodologies y Promote space for civil society participation in the nutrition policy debate and coordination y Facilitate evidence-based and inclusive policy dialogue and stakeholder coordination.
