4 positions required for Siphandone II Project, (Law Enforcement Officer, Fishery Officer, Livelihood Officer and Project Support Officer) As part of its FY16-20 Strategic Plan, WWF Laos is implementing a comprehensive programme of conservation activities in the two landscapes included in the 4 southern provinces on the Lao PDR (Champassak, Attapeu, Sekong and Salavan) i.e. the Mekong Flooded Forest landscape (MFFL) and the Central Annamites Landscape (CAL). These two landscapes are made of the Greater Annamites and the Mekong priority eco-regions identified by WWF, containing many significant populations of globally threatened and flagship species. WWF aims to protect and restore these species and their habitats and a large part of this work involves supporting local communities and Government agencies in the landscape to strengthen the management of key protected areas, support freshwater conservation zones, and promote sustainable forest management. Under Mekong Flooded Forest landscape (MFFL). The project “Improving food and income security in Siphandone through sustainable natural resource management and biodiversity conservation” will contribute to socio-economic development of the Lao PDR, and in particular that of Agriculture and Forestry, through the management and sustainable use of fisheries and aquatic natural resources in the Mekong River From November 2016 to December 2019 (3 years and 2 months) WWF-Laos is looking for the experienced Lao National candidates to fill-in 4 positions of Siphandone II Project and 1 position for Rattan Project. All positions for are base in Champasak Province.

I. Law Enforcement Officer – 1 position, Fishery Officer – 1 position, and Livelihood Officer – 1 position (total 3 Positions for Siphonedone Project) The Officers provide technical support to the Project Manager in the planning, management, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project activities to ensure compliance with the Project Document and WWF’s contractual obligations and ensure close collaboration between the project management, partners and relevant stakeholders in the project sites. His or her specific role in collaboration with local partners, lead the process of monitoring biodiversity in areas surrounding project target villages, including preparing data collection tools, community training and coaching, establishing reference values and regularly reporting on these values. Key requirements: • For Law Enforcement Officer applicant is required Bachelor’s degree in conservation biology, natural resource management, environment, or in relevant fields • For Fishery Officer is required Bachelor’s degree in fishery, conservation biology, natural resource management, environment, or in relevant fields • For Livelihood Officer is required Bachelor’s degree or diploma in agriculture, natural resource management, environment, or in relevant fields • Additional courses on Project Management and/or business administration is an advantage for all positions. His or her specific role is to support projects administration, finance, logistics and other tasks as required by the Southern Provinces Coordinator, Project Manager and team officers in the course of project activity implementation. The program will increase productivity, strengthen the capacity of cooperatives and to create market linkages between producers and domestic and international buyers. All positions will be based in Laos.

Mission: The job holder is to ensure that the day-to-day activities of Accounting Section are carried out smoothly and he/she has a responsibility to contribute to the Group’s sustainability and in doing so ensure that we can continue to fulfill with the Group’s sustainability goals and mission.

Agricultural Productivity Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Agriculture Productivity Manager will work with farmer groups and smallholder producers to transition them out of traditional production systems and into high value horticulture commodities for domestic and regional markets. The Manger will build their capacity to adjust and respond to market signals, incorporate yield enhancing techniques and technologies, and foster long termcommercial relationships with end markets and service providers. This will include design of overall strategy for working with small farmers; specific hands-on in-field training to demonstrate best practices in the various stages of production; provide small farmers with in-field technical assistance and perform regular follow up visits to identify and resolve problems; and assist in meeting standards and requirements of internationally recognized quality certifications, including organic. Qualifications: 10+ years’ experience in production and research of a high value, horticultural crops; practical experience in implementing GlobalGAP, organic or other relevant quality certifications for horticultural exports; Masters or PhD in relevant field is preferred; familiar with recent advances in agriculture, as well as current issues impacting on the agricultural sector (e.g., climate change, decreasing water resources, etc.); extensive knowledge of the Laotian and regional operating environment; fluency in Lao required.

Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager will identify and prioritize accreditation and certification requirements that will build the competitiveness of horticulture products in international and regional markets. The Manager will develop and implement capacity building and quality management systems aimed to smallholder farmers, farmer groups, traders and processors around those requirements. Design and implement integrated pest management practices and protocols. Promote quality standards and practices related to input sales, distribution and application. Facilitate establishment of farm to fork traceability systems, and partnerships with regional/international certification and audit bodies. Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience in food safety and quality management and audit systems for agriculture. Familiarity with international certification and quality standards, such as GlobalGAP, BRC, Tesco, IFS, including those related to organics. Experience establishing traceability systems; extensive knowledge of the Laotian and regional operating environment; fluency in Lao preferred.

Market Linkages Manager

The Market Linkages Manager will build and maintain commercially viable partnerships with between producers, exporters, processors, and buyers (including domestic and international). Develop and maintain business relationships with food processors, fresh produce traders, farmer groups to create sustainable marketing and export opportunities. Facilitate long term contractual relationships between producer groups, input service providers, and end market buyers. Design marketing, promotion, and branding initiatives. Qualifications: 10+ years’ experience in a similar position with an extensive knowledge of produce or food production and the fresh produce sector; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously; familiar with other business disciplines such as finance, market research, sales, and planning; university degree in relevant field; extensive knowledge and experience in regional markets; fluency in Lao required. Populate the MPE, calculate and control costs by MPE family, Calculate variances by activity and MPE family Prepare cost accounting entries for accounting department (production, WIP, …, so forth) Analyze sales and gross margin variances for the Business Unit Validate and analyze production cost variances; trace them back to physical indicators and business events Provide Business Line Head and managers with a monthly synthesis of monthly and YTD results as well as anticipated year-end tendency Animate monthly results meeting with management, assist Business Unit managers in redesigning to cost processes and organization Animate the budget process/forecast/mid-term plan by collecting and controlling main drivers (volumes, yields, productivity,..), as well as financial hypotheses Ensure compliance of fix assets procedure: equipments disposal, transfer or scrap

Degree in Finance/Accounting. An engineering educational background will be an advantage. At least 4 years experience in financial / costing position in international manufacturing company, with background in manufacturing finance. Good Knowledge and understanding of production process and expenses per section. Solid knowledge in financial flow in RX production and interfaces with mass production.
