DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties: Under the supervision of the Chief Technical Adviser, the Administrative Assistant will assist project team members in administration, financial, procurement and reporting activities. Job description Position based in Vientiane Under direction, performs a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities Scope: The LOGISTIC MANAGER is responsible for all warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions and maintaining records. Key duties and responsibilities: •

Use IT systems to manage stock levels, location and state of the equipment

Manage inventories

Manage documentation and organization

Manage the repairing of damaged equipments

Manage remittance of equipments to the client or to other warehouses

Handling technical details relating to possibly international transportation such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation

Negociate with freight providers

use data from IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements

Analyse logistical problems and producing new solutions;

Manage the store keeper and logistic assistant

Education: Certificate or University Degree in Administration or related field Experience: Four years of experience in the area of work as above Languages: Working knowledge (Level C) of English and working knowledge of the local languages (s) is required. Other: Working experience in financial and administration and well versed with the procurement/administrative procedures, including rules and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS – DESIRABLE: • Ability to effectively use standard office software, such as MS Office (Window, Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point), and all as well as the internet. • Good computer skill (Standard office and accounting procedures) • Good networking and communication skills (both in English and Lao), with experience of arranging workshops, meeting and training programmes.

Requirement : •

Three to five years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or industry related field is preferred

Knowledge/Experience in transportation environment (i.e., Shipping, receiving and inventory management, distribution or dispatch preferred)

•Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred

General skills: •

Requirements:

Education: Graduated in finance and economics, or equivalent degree in finance and business.

Experience: Experience in managing a debt fund or all of its key components: portfolio risk, budget and financial management, compliance, and reporting. Experience in financial analysis, private-sector loans, guarantees, and loan/guarantee programs, preferably with a private commercial bank and/or a multilateral lending institution. First-hand experience in originating transactions, preparing financial projections and financial analyses, structuring loans, managing and closing international loan and guarantee agreements.

Excellent project management and consulting skills;

Languages: Excellent command of English(ability to conduct complex business conversations). Japanese is highly desirable.

Ability to lead a team in a multicultural interdisciplinary environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
