This plea rang out loud from one of the many people who had come to greet His Majesty King Bumipol Adulyadej, who had recently been crowned king when he was visiting his subjects 70 years ago. His Majesty the King heard and remembered the plea for he was never far from his subjects, not for so much as a single day. For he is the true king of the fatherland. He was The King of Kings. Admired, praised and proclaimed around the globe in lands near and far as The King of Kings. He was the longest reigning monarch in the world, a glorious reign of 70 years. For those 70 years the citizens of Thailand remained protected by his grace, just as an umbrella protects against the harsh rays of the sun. Now, he has passed and the warmth and light His Majesty blessed us with is gone. Like a candle extinguished leaves a chill, His Majesty’s passing leaves a coldness in the hearts of his subjects. Many tears have and will be wept, for His Majesty was never far from us. But in truth His Majesty will never be far from our hearts. His work and words of immense wisdom remain, guiding and inspiring us to be good for the unity of our country.

ichael Raeleart Defended His Title at Laguna Phuket Triathlon
Michael Raeleart捍卫了自己在拉古纳普 吉岛铁人三项的荣耀 Michael Raeleart, from Germany, once again took the champion title at the Laguna Phuket Triathlon. In the women category, first timer Amelia Rose Watkinson from New Zealand rounded up her impressive 9 out of 10 races won this year with a strong finish in the first place. The 23rd annual Laguna Phuket Triathlon (LPT) race challenged athletes from around the world on the 1.8K swim, 50K bike, and 12K run race. A field of over 1,100 individual pro and age group athletes representing more than 40 nationalities, 55 relay teams and 6K Fun Runners crowded Asia’s premier destination resort “Laguna Phuket” from the Race Finish at the resort’s beachfront to the Transition Area at Laguna Grove outdoor event venue. Most of the pros participated in the race had been spending days resting and training at Asia’s premier destination resort Laguna Phuket.

oi Inthanon is the highest peak of Thailand. The towering mountain stands at over 2,565 meters above sea level, and is covered with a blanket of tropical forest. It is the source of rivers and provides a habitat for a gloriously wide variety of flora and fauna. Decades ago the ecology of the area was devastated by the negative consequences of slash and burn agriculture.
In 1979 His Majesty the King visited Doi Inthanon and instructed the establishment of the Inthanon Mountain Royal Research Station Project. The project’s status was elevated in 2007 to become the Royal Agricultural Station Inthanon. The mountain, once used for slash and burn agriculture has now become a sustainable agriculture area cultivating temperate crops and a major agro-tourist attraction.

n 1969 His Majesty the King, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit toured the Fang district of Chiang Mai province. Whilst in transit to Ang Khang Mountain, His Majesty the King witnessed for himself large scale deforestation. The land was cleared to cultivate poppies, however those who had cleared the land and cultivated the poppies, the local hill tribes, remained impoverished. His Majesty the King gave from his own purse 1500 baht, a considerableamount at the time, to buy an area of land

to establish Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station, the first royal project of its kind in Thailand. The initiation of the project created sustainable agricultural to provide incomes for families, stopped the devastating deforestation, and turned Doi Ang Khang into what it is today: an outstanding area of natural beauty with agricultural cultural tourism. In the winter months the area is alive with vegetables, fruits and the blazing colors of the beautiful flowers of Lanna.

very winter in the north of Thailand wild cherry blossoms set the landscape alight with color. No more so than at the renown Royal Agricultural Center Khun Wang, Chiang Mai. For just one month between December and January each year the mountain side is a riot of pink, sure to take your breath away in awe. Had it not been for a visit by His Majesty the King in 1982, this annual spectacle
would not be possible. When His Majesty the King visited, he found wide scale deforestation. In place of lush forest was the cultivation of poppies for opium. His Majesty the King determined to enable the hill tribes to earn a sustainable living, initiated the project. To this day lilies, chrysanthemums and carnations amongst others can be seen on hillsides that beg to be explored.

ives plighted with poverty and earth so dry it lay cracked are what greeted His Majesty the King when he visited the east of Thailand in 1955. In light of this visit, in 1982 His Majesty commanded the establishment of Puparn Royal Development Study Center, which was officially opened two years later in 1984. It was established to research sustainable farming techniques and to disseminate the findings to local farmers. Fast forward
to the current day, the center is now a major agricultural tourist attraction visited by both Thai people from all over the country and international visitors. A visit to Puparn Royal Development Study Centre is not complete without tasting ‘the three blacks’ of black chicken, black pork, and black beef. These hybrid breeds have both an excellent taste and texture and have provided employment and income to local farmers all thanks to the incredible long term vision of His Majesty the King.

ravel back in time to 30 years ago and this region suffered from frequent flooding due to poor water management. In 1989 His Majesty King Bhumibol made a speech to the Royal Irrigation Department instructing them to study water management techniques in the area in order that the flooding would be eased and sufficient water stored for use when needed. Pa Sak dam, completed in 1999, has lead to
improved water management as instructed and has also created a beautiful tourist attraction. A special branch of railway enables visitors to marvel at the fields of sunflowers which line the dam and reservoir behind. The railway is unique in that it passes over the water. on 19 April 1966, His Majesty the King sailed solo and without accompanying vessels in his international OK class dinghy named Vega from Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin to Teay Ngam Bay, Naval base in Sattahip, Chonburi, a distance of 60 nautical miles a true model of sporting excellence, determination, and bravery.

hromlok waterfall serves as an indication of the health of the surrounding rainforest. The waterfall is situated in Khao Luang National Park which also boasts the highest mountain in the region. Khao Luang stands at 1835 meters above sea level. The waterfall itself is surrounded by dense tropical

forest, and water falls over the edge for more than 50 stories. The water cascades and flows into interspersed basins, some large and others small. In 1958 Their Majesties the King and Queen travelled to the waterfall and engraved their initials into the first cliff of the waterfall.

ak Panang Basin Royal Project stretches over an area of more than 1.9 million rai in Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces. It is the home to more than 600 000 people and has long served as the ‘breadbasket of the southern region’. Due to a growing population and falling rainfall, the amount of fresh water flowing into the Pak Phanang river fell. This allowed the incursion of
saltwater into the soil and a fall in the yields of agricultural crops. In 1992 His Majesty the King ordered the construction of the flood gates at Pak Panang. The gates prevented the salt water incursion into the soil and allowed the farmers a new lease of life. The floodgates have also become a tourist attraction, teaching visitors on the water management work of His Majesty the King.

The company began from the investment in a wholesale fresh market on Rama 2, and with excellent risk management and private funding, the company grew steadily to include an extended field of business portfolio, including investment, property, restaurant, health, and resort businesses. Positive thinking and vision are the keys to the company success. Headstart is always searching for businesses with high potential and find an opportunity to make a move into any industry it believes to have a bright future. debts. Although it also means slow growth, but Headstart is expanding exponentially into a comprehensive field of businesses such as hospitality. Its first restaurant – Buritara, a chic lifestyle restaurant by Chao Phraya River - took a years to become profitable before the second branch was set up. The second branch took only a year to become profitable since the company learnt a lot of lessons from the first branch, and the third restaurant, Patong Beach Club, soon followed and become profitable since day one. The recently opened Patong Beach Club aims to attract customers at the age of 35-45 with the style and music choice from the 90s. As for the near future, Headstart will soon launch its newest Chinese fastfood restaurant which will be the company’s first step into fastfood sector.
With expertise in property market, Headstart has a well-established real estate business in Phuket. The business originally focused on Chinese investors but it has grown to offer over 10 languages support, and is now planning to evolve into property developer. Besides restaurants and property, Headstart also invested in commercial forestry with a strong partnership with Asia Plantation Capital, and the business has seen a double digit growth during the past 6-7 years. The company will also expect a very busy 2017 as its first beauty and healthcare clinic will be opened in February, 2017. Located in the busy Tonglor district, The anti-aging clinic will serve the rapidly increasing beauty and health trend and attract customers in
their 30s or higher who would have high purchasing power. If the clinic proves to be successful, you will definitely see its sister branch in Phuket. However, that’s not all the company has in plan for 2017. Headstart will also be opening its own luxury pool villa resort on Koh Maprao, Phuket, by the end of next year. 公司是如何起步的? 回顾过去的 八年时间，刚开始认识几位有意向 在泰国投资的外国商人，首先是在 praram2经营一个批发市场，市场的 营业时间是凌晨2点到早上10点。随 着事业不断的发展，所有行业的投资 都是以公司的资金投资（不再依靠 银行贷款）。随着事业逐渐的步入正 轨，公司的管理也趋于正轨化。每年 都会进行财政预算，按照制定的计划 不断的发展壮大。
尤其是像普吉一样的旅游城市， 大多数游客比较注重自己的体型，在
度假村主要以泳池别墅形式为主，目 前已经正在施工，将在明年年底在普 吉府椰子岛开始营业。
商业运行的支柱 凡是都向积极
的一面去想，相信事业会不断的壮 大，抓住时机，进军各个行业。 商业强项 公司旗下的分公司的 发展都是依靠现有的资金发展起来 的，所以发展的速度稍微比较缓慢， 但是公司没有债务。比如在餐饮业， 从起初的一家店连续5年盈利，然后 在开设第二家分店，第二家分店的盈 利，再去开设第三家，而开设第三家 的时间只用了一年时间。 未来普吉经济发展状况 随着普 吉新机场的开放，越来越多高品质的 游客会选择来普吉。对于外国人来 说普吉是一个人人都喜欢去的地方， 这里物价便宜，外加泰国人的热心好 客，我百分之百的确定普吉的经济发 展前景特别广阔。对于我们公司来 说，今后的发展焦点将由曼谷向普吉 慢慢转移。
