Jeff is married to Kaylene, and has 2 daughters and 1 grand daughter. Jeff is kept busy as National Op’s Mgr, and gets about in his first love, a ‘55, but also sneaks in time with his 56 4dr HT and 57 2dr post.

President’s Report Well, another big month has just gone, and they seem to be getting bigger. The first meeting for the year was a great turn out and there was also a fantastic turn out for the BBQ prior to the meeting. Thank you to Tarek once again for supplying the great quality meat; if you are having a function that requires meat, give him a call. (You won’t be disappointed!). The next weekend was our night of nights, the Presentation Night. Thank you to all who voted for me, and acknowledged that I’ve done a reasonable job this year. I was a bit blown away at first, because I didn’t think of myself as a candidate considering others instead. I apologise to all for my lack of enthusiasm, as I wasn’t well on the night! I was doing it quite hard, but further into the night the medicine (alcohol) kicked in, and made it a little more enjoyable.

Finally, I had my first experience as a seller and not a buyer at a swap meet. The Ballarat swap was on, and it was a great experience. Thanks Bob for keeping me company on the weekend. Also it was great catching up with Steve and Shaun, Karl, and other mates and neighbours. If you have never been to one, do so. It’s huge! I’ll Thank you to all concerned since that be there again next year as well as a lot of night. After seeking medical advice I’m vendors who said the night life is just like feeling better, but I also have my days. Can a mini Bathurst. I just thank Lois for once again organising the nigh and a big thank you to Bruno and Chris, for once again collecting the votes Anyway, that’s enough for now. The Hot Ones Hi Members Well, January’s newsletter got the year off to a great start; our new printer excelled himself with the quality of the print and attention to detail, and hopefully that can now continue well into the future! A few people have requested that I go back to sending the newsletter as a pdf and not as the e-mag, which unfortunately isn’t possible due to the size of the file (30mb+ for print quality). I’ll work on finding a solution for you. Not much else has been happening here, just crazy busy hours as the silly season finally winds down and we head into Autumn (phew!) - see you all on the 16th in Ballarat! Have a great month, Juli
Membership Full membership to the 55-56-57 Chevrolet Club of Victoria requires that you own a Chevrolet vehicle (of any make or model), and attend three meetings or club outings per year (Country members need only attend one meeting or outing per year). New Membership currently cots $75- which entitles you to a club polo shirt, stubby cooler and car club sticker. Renewal Membership is currently $40 per year, with all membership fees due on the 1st of August each year. year Associate Membership is open to those who do not currently own a Chevrolet but would like to enjoy our Club and its activities.
Meetings Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month, starting at 8pm. There is no meeting in January. Meetings are held at The Pines Learning Centre, 520 Blackburn Road, Doncaster East. Melways 34/D5. (Behind The Pines S/Centre)

Lois’ Lines Presentation night was held at Natalie`s restaurant Ringwood on Feb 9th. It was great to see our members dressed to impress as this is the only chance we have to really dress up, so well done to all. Also on LGC cruise to Williamstown, about 300 cars, great day out. Tony A and Shane Perry reported on the Black Saturday Remembrance Cruise to Healesville. A very well organised event with about 450 to 500 cars. Tony Anastasio won an award for his Chevy Pickup. Well done! Wayne Hopkins did a Living Legends Cruise in Tullamarine with his local car club. An interesting day out, worth considering as a future club event. Greg Rowe on the Vic Hot Rod Show. Was a huge weekend, the club display was great. Thanks to Tarik, Michael, Ross and Don for showing their cars. Special thanks to Karl for organising all the props and David for organising the entries. David had his Nomad on display on a separate stand, congrats to him for taking out first place in Mild Custom class.

The car was brought back home where I spent many months fitting and tweaking many of the bits included in the new build sheet.
