十年再見 楊德昌
EDWARD YANG, 10-YEAR COMMEMORATION 楊德昌(1947-2007)是台灣新電影旗手。《海灘的一天》大 膽打破傳統敘事結構,《青梅竹馬》差一點讓侯孝賢當上金 馬影帝,《恐怖份子》精準透視後現代都市的真實與虛幻, 《牯嶺街少年殺人事件》無疑是經典了。九年前香港國際電 影節辦過「一一重現楊德昌」回顧,今年是楊德昌逝世十周 年,《青梅竹馬》與《牯嶺街少年殺人事件》的修復版亦剛 好相繼完成,正是時候再回顧他的藝術成就,以作懷念。

Post-handover, Hong Kong cinema faced crossroads. With box-office already declining and the mainland market burgeoning, Hong Kong filmmakers
started to adjust, experimenting with genre reinventions, local stories, new
technologies, and alternative financing. Some filmmakers simply embraced partnership with the mainland, while some co-productions still possess strong
creativity and artistry. In this special programme, 20 films that are highly representative of the post-97 Hong Kong cinema are selected. These free screenings are first-come, first-served basis.
