Hypnotic World of 3D Visuals This is the fif th film adaptation of the famed novel, with powerhouse celebrities Leonardo DiCarpio and Carey Mulligan por traying the lead roles. Luhrmann went all out in capturing the grand architectures and the flashy lifest yles of the rich in 1920s America by utilising 3D motion-capture technology and wide angled lenses. Another highlight of the film is the alluring costumes worn by the characters, helmed by t wo times Oscar winning costume designer Catherine Mar tin. Collaborating with fashion giants Brooks Brothers and Miuccia Prada in creating the glamorous costumes, the film has superbly replicated the ex travagant st yle of 1920s America elite societ y. In all honest y, it is wor th buying another ticket just to enjoy the visual feast created by t wo high fashion empires.
