Maria Hirszman é jornalista e crítica de artes. Atua na área de artes visuais desde 1996, tendo trabalhado na editoria de Variedades, do Jornal da Tarde, e no Caderno 2, do Estado de S. Paulo. É pesquisadora em história da arte, com mestrado pela Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA-USP), além de integrar o Grupo de Estudos Arte&Fotografia da ECA-USP e o Conselho Editorial da Enciclopédia de Artes Visuais do Itaú Cultural. Recentemente, integrou a equipe curatorial do II Festimagem – Festival Internacional da Imagem; ministrou o curso “As Artes no Brasil Contemporâneo: Global e Provinciano”, no Centro Universitário Mariantonia; e participa atualmente da Comissão julgadora do Rumos Itaú Cultural 2015-2016.

Maria Hirszman is a journalist and art critic. He has worked in the visual arts area since 1996, having worked in the publishing house of Variedades, Jornal da Tarde, and in Caderno 2, in the State of São Paulo. She is a researcher in art history, with a master’s degree from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP). She is also a member of the ECA-USP Art & Photography Studies Group and the Editorial Board of the Itaú Cultural Encyclopedia of Visual Arts . He recently joined the curatorial team of II Festimagem International Image Festival; Taught the course “The Arts in Contemporary Brazil: Global and Povinciano”, in the University Center Mariantonia; And currently participates in the judging committee of Rumos Itaú Cultural 2015-2016.
