2015 - 2016 Highlights

CLIENT AND CARERS SERVICES

We hosted our first Annual Gala Ball which was attended by over 700 clients, carers and supporters We launched ‘Afford Getaways’ with over 100 clients visiting Disneyland, Gold Coast, Darwin and enjoying a number of cruises

We launched our ‘Afford Carers’ Programs with numerous fun events for carers including Harbour Cruises, Paddle Steamer cruises and themed restaurant dinners

We sold 700 Christmas Hampers packed in our Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE) with all products produced by ADEs Launched Club Afford which offers a range of activities, outings and healthy living options to members Staged annual Afford’s Got Talent at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith

FUNDRAISING

Grew fundraising income by 15%

STAFF

Staff turnover reduced by 35%

Introduced ELMO eLearning for majority of training requirements Expanded First Aid, Manual Handling, Driver Training and various complex health needs programs

PROFIT AND GROWTH

Operating profit from normal operations improved by over $5 million
