Presentamos un año más un nuevo número de Comunik2, que ya celebra su décima edición.
Nuestra revista estrena además una nueva etapa, ya que hemos creado un equipo editorial con alumnos que han querido participar de forma directa en el diseño y en la redacción de los textos y secciones. Seguro que esto se dejará notar positivamente en la calidad y frescura del resultado final.
La EOI Boadilla sigue siendo un lugar de referencia para aquellas personas que quieran formarse en idiomas. El aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera enriquece notablemente nuestro potencial profesional, pero también nuestro desarrollo integral como personas. El inglés sigue siendo el idioma más demandado, pero cada vez se hace más necesario tener además conocimientos de otras lenguas, especialmente en el ámbito de la Unión Europea.
Durante el curso 2017-18 seguimos realizando nuestras jornadas de puertas abiertas, que tienen lugar el primer martes de cada mes. Además de las clases diarias, procuramos ofrecer actividades extraescolares de interés para el alumnado en alemán, francés e inglés (charlas, talleres, etc.). El grupo de teatro en inglés, formado por alumnos y antiguos alumnos de la EOI, sigue activo un año más, preparando con entusiamo su actuación de final de curso. Cada año colaboramos con una ONG. Este año hemos elegido Adelante África, una organización que realiza una valiosísima labor en Uganda, comprometiéndose tanto en la protección de la infancia como en el desarrollo de las comunidades locales.
El presente curso académico está siendo intenso, por ser un curso de transición en varios sentidos. Su duración es algo menor que la de los cursos anteriores, dado que ahora la convocatoria extraordinaria de exámenes de septiembre ha sido trasladada a junio, y la convocatoria ordinaria comienza en mayo (el comienzo de las clases del curso 2018-19 será en septiembre). Pero la novedad más importante es el cambio de plan de estudios para el próximo curso. Los niveles se ajustarán más literalmente a la nomenclatura del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las lenguas, algo sin duda beneficioso a la hora de valorar nuestras titulaciones. La implantación de este nuevo plan sin duda requerirá algunos ajustes en la oferta educativa de nuestra EOI, pero desde el centro siempre velaremos por que los alumnos puedan tener la máxima variedad de horarios y niveles que nuestros recursos permitan. Creemos que estos cambios son una oportunidad para que las Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas refuercen su papel ofreciendo la enseñanza de idiomas que la sociedad actual demanda.
Una vez más agradecemos el apoyo recibido tanto por la Consejería de Educación de la Comunidad de Madrid como por el Exmo. Ayuntamiento de Boadilla del Monte. No resta sino desearos que encontréis en estas páginas una imagen fidedigna de la actividad cotidiana de nuestro centro, además de pasar un rato agradable leyendo las colaboraciones de nuestros alumnos. Los vientos del cambio u El nuevo plan de estudios, que se implantará a partir de septiembre, cambia la duración de los estudios y la denominación de los niveles. Ramón Silles McLaney. Director EOI Boadilla
Las Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas (EEOOII) de la Comunidad de Madrid son la institución de la educación pública madrileña no universitaria dedicada a la enseñanza de idiomas. La Escuela Oficial de Idiomas es una institución de reconocido prestigio y con mucho recorrido: en el año 2011 pudimos celebrar nada menos que el primer centenario de la primera EOI de Madrid.
Muchos años llevan las Escuelas ofreciendo una formación en idiomas moderna y de calidad, y la estructura de las enseñanzas y los sucesivos planes de estudio han tenido que ir adaptándose siempre a los nuevos tiempos. Y muchos son los retos que tenemos que afrontar en el presente.
Muy valoradas desde siempre por los alumnos, las EEOOII sienten no obstante desde hace unos años la necesidad de una renovación en su estructura curricular y administrativa. Los alumnos de la Comunidad de Madrid buscan una mayor flexibilidad en la oferta educativa, unos itinerarios que permitan formarse presencialmente para obtener la titulación en menos años si así lo desean (como permiten algunas instituciones privadas dedicadas a los idiomas), la incorporación de todos los niveles del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia (MCER) incluido el nivel C2 (el C1 se incorporó el curso pasado), certificados más reconocidos dentro y fuera de España, y en definitiva un sistema que se adapte más a nuestro entorno laboral y académico. Consciente de esta necesidad de una buena puesta al día, el Ministerio de Educación publicó el pasado mes de diciembre un decreto1 que establece una pautas mínimas 1 Real Decreto 1041/2017, de 22 de diciembre de 2017.

para la ordenación de las enseñanzas. Este decreto ha de ser desarrollado por cada Comunidad Autónoma, y la Comunidad de Madrid está ya trabajando en ello a buen paso, pues esta nueva ordenación se implanta en todos los niveles ya a partir de septiembre de 2018.
El decreto publicado en diciembre, independientemente de cómo lo desarrolle cada CA, deja claras algunas cosas; por ejemplo, la equivalencia entre los niveles del actual plan de estudios y el entrante, todo referenciado al MCER. El Nivel Básico completo equivaldrá al nivel A2 de Marco; el Nivel Intermedio, al nivel B (B1 + B2); y el Nivel Avanzado, al (C1 + C2). El Nivel Básico podría ser impartido por otras instituciones dentro del sistema público, además de las EEOOII, y su duración será la que determine la Comunidad de Madrid.
Los niveles Intermedio y Avanzado (B y C del MCER respectivamente) tendrán entre 3 y 4 años de duración cada uno, según determine nuestra Comunidad. Esto previsiblemente hará que se reduzca el número de cursos para alcanzar C1 (actualmente 7), algo que puede ser ventajoso en algunos casos, aunque pedagógicamente hay opiniones para todos los gustos. Un factor determinante será la dedicación que pueda tener cada alumno en función de sus circunstancias personales.

La Comunidad de Madrid estudia una adaptación del número de horas por curso en función de la dificultad de cada idioma: no es lo mismo estudiar italiano, francés o inglés, que estudiar alemán, ruso, o chino. Se contempla además la posibilidad de establecer certificaciones lingüísticas generales (que reúnan todas las destrezas: hablar, escribir, escuchar, leer) y parciales (por destrezas aisladas). ¿Cómo serán las EEOOII de Madrid en el futuro? Todo apunta a que las Escuelas podrán ser autorizadas a impartir otras modalidades de enseñanzas además de la presencial: cursos semipresenciales (parte presencial y parte online), y cursos a distancia. Y a que cada Escuela tendrá autonomía para diseñar cursos de innovación pedagógica, previa aprobación de la Consejería de Educación. Sin duda, las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC) ganarán presencia en la enseñanza en los próximos años. Y habrá sin duda otros cambios que afecten al sistema de calificación, al procedimiento de admisión, etc.
En los próximos meses se irá perfilando lo que va a ser el nuevo marco de nuestras enseñanzas, y ante todo esperamos que dicho marco nos dé los medios y herramientas propios de un moderno sistema de enseñanza en lenguas. La transición del antiguo al nuevo plan de estudios inevitablemente traerá – como todos los cambios estructurales de gran envergadura- algunos efectos colaterales que tendremos que ir solventando. Pero confiamos en que, una vez salvadas las dificultades iniciales, el resultado final será un modelo curricular más flexible, eficaz, y acorde con lo que los alumnos necesitan.

Charla con Jane Cadwallader
ADELANTE ÁFRICA Entrevista y edición: Miguel Castro Como es costumbre en nuestra EOI, este año también colaboramos con una ONG. Esta colaboración nos permite realizar actividades variadas en los idiomas que impartimos, y además dar a conocer la labor humanitaria que realizan estas organizaciones. Este curso colaboramos con la ONG Adelante África que desarrolla su labor en el área de Igayaza, Uganda. Allí llevan adelante proyectos de acogida de niños, de educación, tanto infantil como de adultos, de desarrollo económico y de salud. Charlamos con Jane Cadwallader, fundadora y secretaria de Adelante África.
“Poco a poco se pueden conseguir grandes cambios”
Jane, lo primero que me gustaría saber es cómo nació Adelante África.
Nació a partir de un viaje de turistas a Uganda. Nosotros íbamos pasando de un parque natural para hacer safaris a otro. Entonces el camión en el que viajábamos se quedó atascado en el barro y tuvimos que bajar del camión y vimos unos edificios hechos de barro, muy pobres y que no parecían casas. Había muchos niños, siempre hay muchos niños en Uganda, y les pregunté si era su

colegio y me contestaron que sí. Vimos el colegio y nos quedamos muy impresionados porque ese colegio estaba fundado y construido por la propia comunidad. Tenían siete clases y dos profesores. Nosotros quedamos tan impresionados de esta labor de la comunidad que preguntamos qué podíamos mandar para este colegio y ellos nos dijeron: “Necesitamos un colegio nuevo” y era verdad, porque el colegio se estaba derrumbando. Y así nació Adelante África. Con un poco de suerte.

Háblanos sobre vuestro proyecto humanitario. Cuáles son vuestros objetivos, cuáles son vuestras líneas de acción.
Nuestro lema es “Poco a poco se pueden conseguir grandes cambios”, y nuestro reto no es ir allí a ayudar sino empoderar a la gente de allí para que se ayuden a sí mismos. Tenemos varias ramas: una es una serie de proyectos comunitarios. Por ejemplo, les enseñamos y ayudamos a construir depósitos de agua. Ellos hacen los depósitos, ponen una parte del dinero y nosotros complementamos con otra. Tenemos proyectos para vacunar aves. Vacunamos cada seis meses unas seis mil aves, ya que allí las gallinas

se mueren enseguida porque con el calor y la humedad hay muchas epidemias. En salud, damos vitamina A y medicinas para desparasitar a los niños también cada seis meses. Tenemos un proyecto para ayudar a individuos o grupos dándoles préstamos sin intereses. Ellos tienen que devolverlos pero tienen mucho tiempo para hacerlo.
Otra rama es la educación. Construimos un colegio de Primaria, lo dimos a la comunidad y ahora es un colegio ayudado por el gobierno. Este año hemos inaugurado un colegio de Secundaria para que los alumnos de Primaria puedan continuar estudiando. También tenemos grupos de educación de adultos, llamados FAL.Tenemos más de mil adultos que se reúnen dos veces a la semana en sus grupos para aprender a leer y escribir. Cuando están más avanzados aprenden inglés y luego hacen también otros proyectos: aprenden a hacer los tanques de agua, aprenden a hacer jabón con hierbas de allí para curar problemas en la piel… Tenemos una rama distinta que es ayudar a los niños más necesitados. Tenemos un Hogar Infantil donde van niños que nos trae la policía. Siempre tienen que pasar antes por la autoridad. Son niños, por ejemplo, en que el padre ha matado a la madre, está en la cárcel y los niños no tienen dónde ir. O son abandonados simplemente. Nuestro Hogar Infantil es un hogar de emergencia para estos casos. La gente de Uganda es muy generosa.
¿Cuáles son los principales problemas que tenéis para desarrollar vuestro trabajo en Uganda?
El principal problema que tenemos es la burocracia de la administración,
“Ellos, en cambio, con muy poco son felices, y además la solidaridad y la generosidad que tienen es enorme” aunque hay miembros de la administración central y también de la local que nos ayudan muchísimo. La realidad es que problemas graves para desarrollar nuestra labor no tenemos. La gente de allí están encantados con nosotros. Adelante África tiene muy buen nombre allí. Ellos dicen que Dios nos trajo a este sitio.
Sí claro, para ellos llegasteis caídos del cielo.
Sí, pero a veces hay que decir que no. A veces la gente viene pidiendo y decimos que no. Nosotros no damos caridad. Si tú quieres que nosotros te ayudemos, tú tienes que tener un proyecto. Generalmente, la gente es muy trabajadora y muy buena. Esta idea del africano, de que es una persona muy dejada, no es así. Nosotros tenemos colas de gente que quieren ser voluntarios.
¿Cómo enfocáis la educación de los niños? La educación está muy centrada en lo que ellos conocen. Ellos no tienen libros, ni ordenadores, ni internet.
Es muy difícil enseñarles ya que todas las referencias culturales que tenemos nosotros, allí no existen. Recuerdo que una vez había un profesor enfermo, tenía una clase de inglés y le dije que no se preocupara, que yo daba la clase. Le pregunté qué estaban haciendo y él me dijo que estaban con las vocales. “¡Muy bien!”, dije. Empecé con la “a” y dije a los niños que era la primera letra de “apple”, y ellos me miraban sin entender porque no saben lo que es una manzana. Con la “e” fue más fácil por “elephant”, pero luego llega la “i” y yo solo pensaba en “ice cream”, pero no les podía decir esa palabra porque ellos no saben lo que es un helado. Ellos empiezan con su realidad y luego, en finales de Primaria, aprenden sobre otras partes de África, pero no van más allá. Por ejemplo, ellos no saben lo que es el mar. Uganda no tiene mar, tiene lagos pero ellos no los conocen. Lo que sí intentamos en Primaria es inculcar la idea de democracia. Lo que hacemos es una especie de elecciones en el colegio, y los niños tienen que hacer sus discursos, la clase les vota, cada pueblo tiene dos representantes y ellos se reúnen una vez a la semana a discutir los problemas y buscar soluciones.
En el aspecto sanitario, rama en la que también trabajáis allí, ¿cómo os las arregláis? ¿Con qué contáis, tanto de personal como de material? El gran problema allí es el agua. No hay agua, la poca que hay está contaminada y esto hace que haya

“Lo que nos gustaría hacer es irnos de allí y dejar las cosas en sus manos” mucha fiebre tifoidea. Mucha gente muere de esta enfermedad. Para intentar solucionarlo les enseñamos a construir los contenedores de agua que recogen agua de la lluvia del tejado. Recientemente, hemos llegado a un acuerdo con una empresa que fabrica un filtro de agua que funciona muy bien, filtra el 99% de los microbios, y es barato, cuesta unos 37 €. Hemos ido a los clubes de FAL, hemos formado grupos de familias y tratamos de que cada grupo compre un filtro. Ellos pagan la mitad del filtro y Adelante África la otra, con la idea de que dispongan de agua potable.
Has comentado que tenéis educación primaria, este año habéis empezado secundaria y sé que os gustaría tener niveles más altos de educación. ¿Qué carreras os gustaría desarrollar?
Nosotros tenemos clarísimo que lo que hay que hacer después de secundaria es formación profesional. Pensamos que lo mejor es que estudien para ser electricistas, fontaneros, mecánicos, que aprendan a coser y trabajos de ese tipo. Con ellos, consiguen su diploma, pueden encontrar trabajo y, si quieren, pueden seguir estudiando en la universidad. Ayudamos a los niños de esta manera porque si después de secundaria estudiaran para ingenieros les sería más difícil encontrar trabajo. Pero aprenden fontanería y sí tienen trabajo.

¿Cómo ves el futuro de Adelante África?¿Qué os gustaría hacer?
Lo que nos gustaría hacer es irnos de allí y dejar las cosas en sus manos. Este es el plan.
Como proyecto concreto, hemos empezado hace un par de años la promoción del cultivo de girasol. Va lento porque es algo nuevo para ellos, pero avanza. Como tenemos también una prensa de aceite de girasol, de esta manera diversifican las cosechas y pueden vender el aceite de girasol, que les encanta y es mucho mejor que el de palma que consumen ahora. Si aumentamos la producción de aceite, la idea es que en el futuro esto vaya a subvencionar el Hogar Infantil. El colegio de Secundaria se subvenciona a sí mismo. Los otros proyectos no son muy caros. Lo que cuesta muchísimo es el Hogar Infantil, y esto es una cosa que no podemos abandonar porque sin él muchos de estos niños morirían.
Tenemos la esperanza de que en el futuro podamos retirarnos de Uganda.
Me gustaría, Jane, que nos contaras alguna historia que nos haga ver la labor que hacéis allí. Algo que te haya llegado especialmente al corazón. La verdad es que recientemente lo que me encoge el corazón es la situación de los niños con SIDA.

Tenemos un niño con esta enfermedad en el Hogar Infantil que se quedó a cargo de su abuela porque sus padres murieron, pero esta bebía y no le daba al nieto las medicinas ni la comida adecuada. Vino a nosotros en un estado horrible. Tenía tuberculosis y el SIDA en estado avanzado. Este niño me llegó especialmente porque es un niño muy alegre, muy bueno. Él ha dicho: “quiero un trozo de tierra para plantar mi propia cosecha”, y allí está, cuidando su maíz y sus girasoles. Está delgadísimo y es muy frágil, y te das cuenta de que si no hubiéramos acogido a este niño, él no viviría.
Jane, tú eres profesora y escritora de libros educativos. ¿Cómo te has involucrado tanto en esta ONG y qué te aporta?
Yo he sido muy afortunada en mi vida. Me ha gustado mucho mi trabajo, me encanta enseñar y me encanta escribir. Siempre tuve claro que cuando mis hijos fueran a la universidad, me gustaría hacer algo para devolver al mundo lo que este me ha dado a mí. Estaba pensando hacer un “Teacher training sin fronteras” y prestar mi servicio como formador de profesores donde fuera sin cobrar. Esto fue justo cuando hicimos nuestro viaje a Uganda y lo que ocurrió me cambió la vida. La verdad es que esta labor me llena muchísimo, me encanta la gente de allí y me enseña mucho porque están felices con poco. Nosotros hemos perdido eso. Necesitamos muchas cosas, y ellos, en cambio, con muy poco son felices, y además la solidaridad y la generosidad que tienen es enorme. Ellos me aportan más a mí que yo a ellos.
¿Cómo podemos ayudar a Adelante África desde Boadilla?
Lo mejor es mirar en nuestra web, adelanteafrica.com, porque allí están las distintas formas en que se puede ayudar. Por ejemplo, puedes apadrinar a un niño en nuestro colegio de Secundaria o en nuestro Hogar Infantil y ayudar en su educación. Podéis ser socios de Adelante África o dar una donación puntual. Todo sirve porque cinco euros son poco dinero aquí, pero allí rinde mucho más. Otra cosa que se

puede hacer es ayudarnos en algo, no allí porque no llevamos gente, sino aquí en España porque necesitamos voluntarios en los trabajos de aquí.
Bueno, Jane, por mi parte no tengo más preguntas. Te agradezco tu magnífica disposición en esta charla y en las actividades que ha habido en la Escuela sobre Adelante África. Quiero expresarte mi admiración por la labor que hacéis en Uganda y te ofrezco la oportunidad de añadir alguna otra cosa.

Adelante África destina el 100% de sus donaciones a sus proyectos de Igazaya (Uganda). Una ONG con proyectos sostenibles e integrados con la población y autoridades locales.
2010: Construcción del Colegio St. Joseph´s (475 alumnos); 2011: Grupos de alfabetización y educación para el sesarrollo (1000 adultos beneficiados). 2012: (construcción de un hogar infantil para niños huérfanos o abandonados (64 niños beneficiados). 2014: Escuela infantil (62 niños beneficiados. 2015: Fabricación de aceite de girasol cuyos beneficios se destinan para financiar los proyectos y mantener los servicios de Adelante África. 2017: Construcción y apertura de un colegio de secundaria (103 niños beneficiados). 2017: 50 operaciones de Mádicos Españoles del Hospital Ramón y Cajal en Igazaya y un plan de colaboración de futuro. 2010-2018: Decenas de proyectos locales para el desarrollo.

Hallo Alemania!!! ¡En Alemania se habla alemán y en nuestra EOI también! El alemán es el idioma europeo con más hablantes nativos repartidos por Alemania, Austria, Suiza, Luxemburgo y Lichtenstein. Compuesto por 16 estados o Länder, con aproximadamente 80 millones de habitantes, Alemania es sinónimo de progreso. Pero también un país y una cultura que merece la pena conocer.
¿Nos acompañas? Una de los principales motivaciones a la hora de estudiar un idioma, es sin duda la posibilidad de poder practicarlo en su país de procedencia. Alemania es un país multifuncional, con una sociedad plural y abierta donde se conjugan la diversidad, el estilo de vida naturalista con un turismo sostenible, y las oportunidades de crecimiento tanto personal como profesional.
Un clima moderadamente frío y lluvioso por lo general a lo largo de todo el año tiene como consecuencia un pueblo con un sentido del humor difícil de entender a veces y que cuadra con la fama de los alemanes de ser disciplinados y puntuales.
También les precede su pasión por los deportes (el fútbol no es

ninguna broma, de hecho es su deporte favorito), su gran diversidad cultural la configura como una de las naciones europeas de la cultura por excelencia. A Alemania le debemos grandes personajes de la cultura, la literatura y la ciencia cuyas vidas han dejado huella en nuestra sociedad europea y mundial. Hablamos de nuestro mayor genio conocido Albert Einstein (Wurtemberg 1879), un grande de la música como Beethoven (Bonn 1770) sin olvidar al padre de la imprenta, el inventor Johannes Gutenberg (S.XIV) y un largo etcétera.

Oportunidades
Como motor económico europeo, Alemania es un país de grandes oportunidades laborales. Su apuesta por la formación y por profesionales internacionales de distintas ramas, es una apuesta ganadora. Tanto en el país germano como en el nuestro, las grandes firmas alemanas buscan titulados técnicos con conocimiento de su idioma. Por lo tanto, estudiar alemán hoy es nuestro puente a dichas multinacionales.
Marina tiene 30 años y lleva 4 de ellos viviendo en Alemania, concretamente en Münster en Renania del Norte, una ciudad universitaria de 300.000 habitantes: “vine a Münster con una beca Erasmus para hacer un Máster en Física de Materiales. Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora y me fui con ganas de volver. Así que cuando más tarde me ofrecieron una plaza para hacer el doctorado, no me lo pensé. En Alemania hay muchas oportunidades tanto para el trabajo como para el estudio, y aunque en el campo de la investigación y las empresas industriales más punteras el inglés está estandarizado, el alemán es muy necesario para la vida diaria. Soy consciente de que el alemán (como idioma) asusta al más pintado, pero no es tan fiero como aparenta. Y si no me crees, echa un

Sea como fuere, el alemán ha ido adquiriendo con los años un mayor protagonismo dentro de la Comunidad Económica Europea, por lo que hablar alemán hoy en día es un plus curricular. Alemania dispone de más de 1 millón de ofertas de empleo tanto dentro del país como a nivel internacional. En concreto, en la Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid están presentes empresas de renombre como son Bayer en Álcala de Henares (www.career.bayer.es), Stihl (líder en la fabricación de maquinaria) o Makro. Esta última, se estableció en España hace ya 45 años y es referente nacional para las pymes hosteleras. Más de 3400 trabajadores pertenecen a su plantilla. Estas empresas se esfuerzan por atraer a sus filas el talento de profesionales de distintas áreas.
Formarse en Deutschland!
Para dar el salto a un futuro prometedor hay que asegurar bien los pilares de nuestra formación, sin los cuales caeríamos al vacío.
Alemania ofrece un sinfín de becas al estudio pues su mentalidad es que toda formación es una inversión de futuro y crecimiento no sólo para nosotros sino también para el país. Son muchas las universidades, instituciones públicas y privadas y organismos que ofrecen ayudas al estudio. Ejemplos de esto encontramos en la Universidad de Bielefeld, la Fundación alemana para la investigación, la Sociedad Helmholtz o Bayer y el no menos importante Servicio Alemán de intercambio académico (DAAD). También en España disponemos de ayudas a través del Ministerio de Educación. Son anuales y cada año son más los candidatos que las solicitan. Porque la educación en Alemania goza de una gran reputación internacional.

Desde la Embajada de España en Alemania nos indican una serie de recomendaciones previas a tener en cuentan cuando decidimos viajar a Alemania por motivos laborales o académicos. Son gestiones burocráticas que hay que dejar bien cerradas antes de comenzar nuestra andadura internacional.
Hablamos de tener DNI o pasaporte en vigor, tarjeta sanitaria europea, informe de vida laboral actualizado y certificado académico. Hay que tener en cuenta que cada organismo nos puede solicitar documentación más detallada. Asegúrate de tenerlo todo. No

También se hace necesaria una visita a la web de la Oficina Nacional Alemana de Turismo. En los próximos meses tendrán lugar en Madrid una serie de acciones culturales y económicas que quieren acercarnos un poquito más a Alemania.
Concretamente para las mentes cinéfilas, en junio tendrá lugar una vez más, el 19º Festival de cine alemán en Madrid.
También asistiremos al Encuentro Empresarial Hispano-alemán con la presencia de 2000 empresas que dan empleo a más de 100.000 personas. Claro ejemplo de la importancia que tiene el tejido empresarial alemán en nuestro país.
Empresas que al igual que el idioma, enriquecen a España al apostar por su desarrollo, su formación y su excelencia. Para poder aprovechar la ocasión y subirnos a este tren tenemos que apostar por estudiar alemán.

En la Escuela no sólo hablamos idiomas…. Este curso celebramos nuestra ya tradicional fiesta de Navidad el pasado 20 de diciembre.
Como en anteriores ediciones contamos con la estupenda actuación del grupo de teatro que de nuevo nos hicieron disfrutar con sus sketches. Se recuperó también para esta ocasión el concurso gastronómico con recetas internacionales. El jurado lo tuvo difícil a la hora de elegir un plato ganador dada la calidad de los mismos. El primer premio recayó en Raquel del Río, con su delicioso Irish Stew, de inglés, y los premios de alemán y francés fueron para Beatriz del Carmen Martínez y Beatriz Gómez Heredero respectivamente
En este curso hemos colaborado con la ONG “Adelante África”. Los alumnos de nuestra escuela han demostrado de nuevo su generosidad volcándose al comprar papeletas para el sorteo de la Cesta de Navidad y gracias a ellos hemos podido recaudar 700 euros que fueron recogidos por la representante de “Adelante África”. Desde aquí queremos de nuevo agradecer su generosidad. Asimismo, contamos con la actuación del coro de estudiantes del Instituto Ignacio Echeverría de Las Rozas. Este coro viene colaborando con “Adelante África” desde hace años y nos deleitó con canciones de Navidad.

Linda Weinhold Lehrerin am Konrad-Klepping-Berufskolleg Entrevista: Yolanda Gutiérrez de Francisco Fachhochschulreife oder die Allgemeine Hochschulreife (Abitur) zu erwerben. Im Berufsschul- bzw. Teilzeitbereich unterrichten wir Auszubildende, die gleichzeitig eine Berufsausbildung absolvieren (z. B. Kaufmann/-frau für Büromanagement, Industriekaufmann/-frau, Bankkaufmann/-frau etc.).
l Frau Weinhold, zuerst möchte ich Ihnen für das Interview danken und auch dafür, dass Sie zu unserer Sprachenschule gekommen sind. Warum sind Sie bei uns zu Besuch? Sehr gerne. Ich bin bei Ihnen in Madrid zu Besuch, weil ich mich bei dem Programm Europäische Qualitätscharta für Mobilität beworben und glücklicherweise auch eine Zusage erhalten habe. Ich habe mich sehr gefreut, dass meine Partnerschule die EOI Boadilla del Monte in Madrid geworden ist. l Warum haben Sie an dem Programm Europäischen Qualitätscharta für Mobilität teilgenommen? Ich denke, dass dieses Programm besonders für Lehrerinnen und Lehrer, die eine Sprache unterrichten, eine sehr gute Gelegenheit darstellt, die eigenen Sprachkenntnisse auszubauen. Des Weiteren bin ich persönlich sehr am Austausch mit den hiesigen Lehrerinnen und Lehrern interessiert, um Inspirationen für meinen eigenen Unterricht zu erhalten. l Wie lange bleiben Sie? Ich bleibe insgesamt drei Wochen.
l Sie sind Lehrerin am KonradKlepping-Kolleg, welche Fächer
unterrichten Sie? Ich unterrichte die Fächer Spanisch und Wirtschaft. Spanisch ist als zweite Fremdsprache unter anderem obligatorisch im zweijährigen Bildungsgang Höhere Berufsfachschule (Bereich Wirtschaft und Verwaltung), der zum Abschluss Fachhochschulreife führt. Das Fach Wirtschaft unterrichte ich im sogenannten Teilzeitbereich, das bedeutet, bei Schülerinnen und Schülern, die gleichzeitig eine kaufmännische Berufsausbildung machen (z. B. Industriekaufmann/-frau).
l Das Konrad-Klepping-Kolleg, was für eine Schule ist das? Das Konrad-Klepping-Berufskolleg ist ein kaufmännisches Berufskolleg der Fachrichtung Wirtschaft und Verwaltung. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler können bei uns viele unterschiedliche Abschlüsse erwerben. Im Vollzeitbereich ist es beispielsweise möglich, den mittleren Schulabschluss nachzuholen, die

l Was für Schüler besuchen das Kolleg? Im Vollzeitbereich unterrichten wir überwiegend Schülerinnen und Schüler ab ca. 16 Jahren, welche bis zur 10. Klasse an einer anderen Schule waren und nun einen höheren Schulabschluss erwerben möchten (z. B. die Allgemeine Hochschulreife in der Fachrichtung Wirtschaft und Verwaltung). Im sogenannten Teilzeit- bzw. Berufsschulbereich unterrichten wir wie gesagt Auszubildende, die gleichzeitig eine Berufsausbildung absolvieren. Diese besitzen mindestens den mittleren Schulabschluss (10. Klasse) oder auch schon einen höheren Abschluss. l Waren Sie schon mal in Madrid? Nein, ich bin das erste Mal in Madrid und es gefällt mir bisher sehr gut.
l Was hat Ihnen bis jetzt am besten gefallen? Ich muss sagen, dass mir bisher alles gefallen hat. Ich finde den Deutschunterricht an der EOI Boadilla sehr interessant und sehe meine Muttersprache inzwischen mit ganz anderen Augen. Zudem habe ich sehr nette Lehrerkolleginnen und kollegen, die mir auch schon viele Tipps für Madrid gegeben haben. Ich freue mich auf spannende drei Wochen hier!

Mein Name ist Susana und ich komme aus Madrid aber ich wohne seit 2006 in Boadilla. Ich bin verheiratet und ich habe zwei Töchter. Ich arbeite als Ingenieurin und in meiner Freizeit höre ich Musik und gehe ins Kino, aber ich mag nicht gern Sport! Ich kann sehr gut Englisch sprechen und malen und ich lerne gern Deutsch, denn es ist wichtig für meine Arbeit.
Im Somme möchte ich nach Berlin oder Hamburg reisen, denn ich mag Currywurst und Kartoffelsalat essen. Tschüs

Ich heiβe Cristina und ich bin fünfzehn Jahre alt. Ich komme aus Spanien und ich wohne in Madrid.
Ich bin Schülerin und ich bin Single. Ich habe zwei Schwestern und zwei Brüder. Ich kann sehr gut kochen und ich mag Bücher lesen, Musik hören und Sport machen, aber ich kann nicht so gut singen und malen. Obst esse ich sehr gern, aber Gemüse esse ich nicht so gern.
Ich mag Tiere, ich habe fünf Katzen. Ich lerne Deutsch, denn ich möchte in Deutschland wohnen. Letztes Jahr bin ich nach Berlin geflogen und nächstes Jahr möchte ich in den USA zwei Jahre bleiben. Im Sommer möchte ich im Mittelmeer segeln. Auf Wiedersehen!

Ich mag Boadilla, es ist sehr schön und ruhig. Ich wohne bei meinem Vater und meiner Mutter und mit meiner Schwester. Meine Schwester ist 20 Jahre alt. Sie ist Medizinstudentin. Mein Mann ist Ingenieur.
Ich habe Literatur an der Universität Complutense studiert. Dann habe ich einen Master in Buchwissenschaft an der Universität Autónoma studiert und jetzt arbeite ich als Verlegerin bei McGraw-Hill Education.

Ich bin verheiratet und habe zwei Kinder. Mein Sohn ist 20 Jahre alt und meine Tochter ist 15 Jahre alt. Meine Hobbys sind: Musik hören, fotografieren und Rad fahren. Meine Lieblingsband ist “Eagles”.
Am Wochenende gehe ich oft ins Kino und in Restaurants. Unter der Woche lerne ich Deutsch. Deutsch ist sehr schwer und ich muss täglich lernen. Am Abend sehe ich oft fern.

Es war so schön l Vor drei Jahren hatte ich ein Überraschungsfest, als ich mein Studium abgeschlossen habe. Das war lustig, toll, fantastisch!!!

Auf dem Fest waren viele Personen: meine Familie, mein Bruder und meine Eltern, meine Cousins, mein Onkel, meine Tante und mein Groβvater. Auch meine Freunde sind zur Party gekommen. Wir haben spanisches Essen gegessen.
Um 21:00 Uhr haben wir das Fest angefangen. Später haben meine Eltern, mein Onkel und meine Tante gekocht. Von 22:00 Uhr bis 23:30 Uhr haben wir abendgegessen! Dann um 00:00 Uhr haben wir die zwölf Trauben gegessen!

Das Fest war im Juli in einem Restaurant in Boadilla.
Nach dem Abendessen bin ich auf eine andere Party gegangen. Ich habe in einer Disco mit meinen Universitätsfreunden getanzt und getrunken. Das Fest hat mir sehr gut gefallen!

l Letztes Jahr habe ich das Silvesterfest bei mir gefeiert. Wir haben meine Familie eingeladen. Mein Onkel, meine Tante, meine Groβeltern und mein Cousin waren auf dem Fest.
Später haben mein Cousin und ich ferngesehen und Tischspiele gespielt. Wir haben die ganze Nacht bis 3:00 Uhr gefeiert. Es war ein lustiges Fest, denn Silvester ist mein Lieblingsfest!

l Im Juni 2016 habe ich meinen 50. Geburtstag gefeiert. Ich habe wirklich im Februar Geburtstag, aber wir machen gern Feste im Sommer, denn das Fest war zu Hause, im Garten. Dort waren etwa 70 Personen, alle unsere Freunde und Familien. Wir haben alle getroffen!
Der Garten war sehr schön: wir haben viele Lichter angemacht und alles dekoriert. Am Abend haben wir viel gegessen und getrunken. Dann haben wir bis 6:00 Uhr morgens getanzt!
Das Fest war toll, es hat viel Spaβ gemacht. Alle Leute waren sehr glücklich! Ich möchte meinen 55. Geburtstag gleich feiern!

Letztes Jahr haben wir den 49. Geburtstag von meinem Ehemann gefeiert. Wir hatten eine Überraschungsfeier im Schwimmbad.
Ich habe die Freunde, die Familie und die Kollegen eingeladen. Es war Samstag und ich ich habe meinem Mann gesagt: „Ich möchte kaufen gehen“. Ich bin mit dem Auto gefahren und wir sind zum Schwimmbad gefahren... Alle Leute waren dort!!
Da waren Fotos von ihm und ein Luftballon mit der Nummer 49. Danach haben wir den Geburtstagskuchen gegessen. Am Ende haben wir meinen Mann ins Schimmbad geworfen. Es war sehr lustig!

l Das letzte Fest war Silvester. Es war im Dezember. Wir haben das Fest zu Hause gefeiert. Wir haben meine Familie eingeladen und wir haben Garnelen, Schinken und Trauben gegessen. Wir haben viel gelacht und wir haben auch viel geredet. Um zwölf Uhr haben wir die Trauben zusammen gegessen und danach
haben wir getanzt und gesungen. Es hat Spaß gemacht! Aber wir haben das Abendessen gekocht und später haben wir das Esszimmer aufgeräumt. Es war toll und wir sind spät ins Bett gegangen.

Beim Mittagessen haben wir fünf Weinsorten probiert und dann haben wir jeden Wein benotet.
Alle die Weine haben mir sehr gut geschmeckt.
Wir haben viel Wein getrunken und mit dem Taxi sind wir heimgefahren.

l Letztes Jahr war ich auf einem Karnevalsfest. Das war in Badajoz. Ich bin mit meiner Familie hingefahren. Meine Tochter hat einen Freund eingeladen. Das war lustig!! Am Donnerstag haben wir „die Beerdigung der Sardine“ gefeiert. Natürlich haben wir Sardinen gegessen. Ich habe auch getanzt und ich bin gesprungen.
Um 24.00 Uhr sind wir zu Monika gegangen. Sie hat gedacht, das ist eine gute Idee.

l Letzten Freitagabend war ich auf der Geburtstagsparty eines Freundes in Madrid. Wir haben Schnitzel mit Kartoffeln gegessen und haben viel Dunkelbier getrunken. Zum Nachtisch haben wir Apfelstrudel mit Wein gegessen. Wir haben dreiβig Leute getroffen, haben Bier getrunken und die ganze Nacht lang getanzt.
Es war so schön! Die Party hat mir sehr gut gefallen, ich möchte sie wöchentlich wiederholen. Dann sind wir bowlen gegangen und haben Brezeln mit Schokolade gegessen. Am Samstag habe ich den ganzen Tag zu Hause geschlafen.

l In Mexiko haben wir zwei wichtige Feiern: die Hochzeit und die 15. Geburtstagsfeier. Vor 8 Jahren habe ich meine 15. Geburtstagsfeier in Mexiko gefeiert. Wir haben die Party in einem schönen Veranstaltungssaal mit meiner Familie und meinen Freunden organisiert. Auf dem Fest waren 150 Personen, denn wir haben Freunde von meinen Eltern eingeladen. Zuerst waren wir in der Kirche in einer Spezialmesse. Später hatte ich die Feier. Auf der Feier haben wir Abend gegessen. Ich habe einen Walzer und ein Pop Lied mit 4 Cousins getanzt. Dann haben wir einen groβen Geburtstagskuchen gegessen. Später haben wir getanzt. Die Kellner haben auch getanzt.
Es war toll. Es hat Spaβ gemacht. Ich habe noch mein Kleid. Es ist gold, sehr lang und sehr schön. Es war lustig!

Wir haben im Restaurant gegessen und das Abendessen war wunderschön. Später sind wir zum Hotel gegangen.
Ich habe viele Fotos gemacht. Barcelona ist eine Stadt so schön!!! Ich habe mich über mein Besuch nach Barcelona gefreut.

Letzten Sommer bin ich nach Marokko mit meiner Schwester gegangen. Wir sind früh geflogen und wir haben ein Taxi zum Hotel genommen. Wir waren dort für acht Tage. Um 9 Uhr haben wir jeden Tag im Hotel gefrühstückt. Wir haben viele Städte besucht. In Essaovira sind wir Quad gefahren und es hat sehr viel Spaβ gemacht. Die Restaurants und die Geschäfte haben mir am besten gefallen. Am Nachmittag sind wir im Schwimmbad geschwommen und dann haben wir im Restaurant gegessen.
Es war aufregend!

Vor einem Jahr bin ich nach Barcelona gereist. Ich war da im Mai. Ich bin von 10:00 Uhr bis 11:15 Uhr geflogen. Das Hotel war im Zentrum. Das war toll, denn ich habe ein Museum und eine Ausstellung besucht. Ich mag am Meer sein. Das Meer war neben einer Brücke und da habe ich meinen Mann getroffen.

Vor zwanzig Jahren bin ich mit drei Freunden nach Neuseeland gereist. Wir sind 15 Tage in einem Wohnmobil gewesen. Es ist im Frühling gewesen und was hat mir am besten gefallen, war die Vielfalt der Landschaften.
Ich habe Fjorde, Gletscher, weiβe Sandstrände und blaue Seen besucht und viele Tiere: Opposums, Schafe, Kühe und Kiwis gesehen. Die Menschen sind sehr gastfreundlich und nett. Es war die beste Reise meines Lebens.

Griechenland ist wunderschön. Die Leute und das Meer haben mir sehr viel gefallen aber das Segelboot hat mir am besten gefallen. Die Reise war toll.

Letztes Jahr im Frühling bin ich mit meiner Ehefrau nach Mallorca geflogen. Wir waren dort zwei Wochen in einem Hotel neben die See.
Dann haben wir mit ein Auto die Insel besucht. Wir haben viele Freunde getroffen. Wir haben Alcudia besucht und haben da typisch „Pa am Oli“ gegessen. Wir sind mit dem alte Zug nach Soller gefahren und danach haben wir mit die Straβenbahn den Hafen und den Strand besucht.
Der Urlaub war wunderschön und wir möchten noch einmal hin gehen.

Stunden gedauert. In Las Vegas waren wir drei Tage, haben die Casinos gesehen und haben einen Ausflug nach „Grand Canyon des Colorado“ gemacht.
Von Los Angeles sind wir nach San Francisco entlang der USA-Autostraβe am Meer gefahren und haben Santa Barbara und Malibu besucht.
Vor zwei Jahren haben meine Familie und ich meinen Bruder in Groβbritannien besucht. Wir sind von Madrid nach London abgefahren. Mein Bruder hat uns zu ihm eingeladen.
Wir haben ein Auto gemietet, es ist schwer links fahren. Am Samstag haben wir den Dom von Salisbury besucht. Das hat mir am besten gefallen. Am Donnerstag sind wir nach London gefahren, und wir haben zu viele Souvenirs eingekauft. Am letzten Reisetag haben wir typisch englisches Fleisch in einer Kneipe gegessen. Zum Schluss sind wir nach Madrid geflogen. Eine zu kurze Reise!

Das Fest hatte Konzerte, Aktivitäten und Handwerk. Wir haben das Feuerwerk und den Mond, sehr groβ und sehr schön, in der Nacht gesehen. Vor fünf Jahren habe ich Urlaub mit meiner Familie in Kalifornien gemacht.
Wir sind von Madrid nach Los Angeles geflogen. In Los Angeles waren wir drei Tage. Wir haben Hollywood, Santa Monica und den Freizeitpark „Warner Bros“ besucht.

Wir sind zu einem Spa gegangen, es war sehr groβ. Die Ungarn da waren freundlich und sie haben Spanisch gesprochen. Im Budapester Parlament gab es zwei Ausstellungen: eine über den Zweiten Weltkrieg und eine andere über die Russische Besatzung. Die Ausstellungen waren sehr

Vor vier Jahren bin ich nach London für eine Woche gefahren. Ich bin im Frühling geflogen. Ich habe mit meiner Cousin Maria gegangen. Es war sehr kalt und es hat sehr viel geregnet.
Ich bin mit dem Bus vom Flughafen zum Hotel gefahren. Das Hotel war im Zentrum, in der Nähe von „Buckingham Palace“.
Mir hat alles am besten gefallen. Ich habe viele Denkmäler besucht: den Big Ben Turm, Trafalgar Square, den Fluss Themse, die OxfordStraβe mit den vielen Kaufhäusern, das Harrod Einkaufszentrum, den „Westminster Palace“ und das London Eye Riesenrad. Das alles war in der Stadtmitte. Ich habe viele Fotos gemacht. Ich habe auch Englisch geübt. Ich habe viel Tee getrunken und Kuchen und auch Fisch mit Kartoffeln gegessen. London ist so schön!!!

Im Jahr 2014 bin ich nach Italien, Griechenland und in die Türkei mit meiner Familie gereist. Ene Woche lang haben wir eine MittelmeerKreuzfahrt gemacht. Wir haben viele Monumente gesehen und viele Fotos gemacht. Wir haben Schokoladeneis in Venedig und Pistazien in Athen gegessen. Wir sind im Schwimmbad geschwommen, aber das Wasser war ein bisschen kalt!
Am Morgen sind wir früh aufgestanden, denn wir haben Ausflüge gemacht. Wir haben Venedig, Athen und Istanbul besucht. Obwohl alle Städte schön sind, meine Lieblingsstadt ist Istanbul. Ich denke, die Reise war wirklich toll!

l Die Reise, die mir besonders gut gefallen hat, war meine Reise nach Italien. Wir – meine Eltern und meine Brüder – haben diese Reise in Cantabria angefangen. Wir sind nach Rom mit dem Auto gefahren. Die ersten 800 Kilometer bis Marseille waren ein bisschen langweilig, aber die nächsten 1000 Kilometer bis Florenz waren wunderbar. Wir konnten Monaco und seine Autos sehen, die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Pisa besichtigen und hatten einen schönen Mittelmeerblick.
l Letztes Jahr habe ich eine fantastische Reise nach Italien gemacht. Obwohl ich die Reise mit meinen Freunden machen wollte, bin ich schließlich mit meiner Familie geflogen. Wir landeten in Mailand, aber wir wollten nicht nur Mailand, sondern auch Venedig besuchen. Diese Stadt ist für mich die schönste in der Welt, weil sie viele wunderbaren Denkmäler hat. Wir haben den Markusplatz besucht, der im Juli voll Touristen war. Die Rialtobrücke ist auch schön, aber ich erinnere mich besonders gut an die Pizza. Es war zweifellos die beste Pizza, die ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe. Venedig hat eine dichte Bevölkerung, sodass man nicht ruhig dort spazieren gehen konnte. Die Kanäle haben mir am besten gefallen. Von dort an konnte man die Gondeln sehen. Wir sind dort nur einen Tag geblieben, aber ich konnte alles geniessen.
l Im August 2017 war ich in Österreich. Ich bin mit meiner ganzen Familie (Mama, Papa, Schwester, Oma und Opa) an einen See gefahren. Der See war sehr groß und blau. Es wahr sehr schön, ihn zu sehen. Nah am See waren viele Berge. Alles war sehr ruhig und entspannt. Am Achensee konnten wir viel machen: schwimmen, ein Boot mieten, Essen, usw. Aber wir konnten mehr Dinge in den Bergen machen: marschieren, schöne Spaziergänge machen, viele Hunde sehen und Siesta schlafen.

Florenz ist eine sehr historische Stadt, aber nicht wie Rom. Obwohl das Wetter sehr warm war, konnten wir die ganze Stadt besichtigen. Was mir am besten in Rom gefallen hat, waren das Essen und die Menschen. Das Essen schmeckt besonders gut, die Menschen waren sehr nett und die Kommunikation war sehr einfach, weil Italienisch und Spanisch sehr ähnlich sind. Am Ende haben wir eine Schifffahrt nach Barcelona gemacht, die auch eine schöne Stadt ist. Vielleicht war die Fahrt mit dem Auto länger, aber wir konnten so überall herum sehen.

Oktoberfest
Seit 1810 gibt es das Oktoberfest in München.
Gauderfest
Seit dem 15. Jahrhundert gibt es das Gauderfest in Zillertal um die Ankunft des Frühlings zu feiern.
Es fängt das erste Wochenende im Mai an und ist ein Festival von der traditionellen österreichischen Folklore. Der Höhepunkt ist der Fest-Umzug am Sonntag , er gilt als der gröβte Trachtenumzug Österreichs. Es gibt Straβenmärkte und Wettbewerbe und man kann die lokale Gastronomie verkosten.
Karneval
Den Karneval in Köln gibt es seit 1823.
Es ist im September und Oktober und dauert ungefähr 16 oder 18 Tage auf der Theresienwiese.
Am 12. Oktober 1810 war die Hochzeit von Prinz Ludwig I. von Bayern und Therese von SachsenHildburghausen und seitdem feiert man das Fest.
Es ist das größte Fest in Deutschland.
Klausjagen
Am 5. Dezember feiert man das Klausjagen in Küssnacht am Rigi, in der Schweiz.
Das Fest hat mit Sankt Nikolaus zu tun. Der Umzug findet um 20:15 abends statt und die Klausjäger tragen alle weiβe Hirtenhemde. Hinter ihnen tänzeln die Iffelenträger: mit den Iffelen auf dem Kopf. Die Iffelen sehen aus wie Kirchenfenster und sind aus Pappe und Seidenpapier, innen mit Kerzen beleuchtet.
Er beginnt am 11. November um 11:11. Er ist der gröβte Karneval in Deutschland und ist für die Karnevalsumzüge, die Süβigkeiten und die fantasievollen Wagen bekannt. Der Rosenmontag ist der bedeutendste Feiertag: Er ist der Montag vor Aschermittwoch.
Den Karneval nennt man auch die fünfte Jahreszeit.
Da sind auch die Fackelträger und die Blechbläser mit der traditionellen Klausenmelodie. Dann kommen die Schmutzli, sie verteilen Dörrfrüchte und Nüsse an die Zuschauer. Und es folgen die Trychler mit den Kuhglocken.

Phonetik-Workshop AN DER EOI Nayeli Rodríguez
Am 13. Februar ist Frau Gil Valdés zu unserer Sprachenschule gekommen. Sie ist auf die Deutsche Phonetik spezialisiert und ist Professorin an der Universität Complutense. Wir hatten einen Phonetik-Workshop. Wir erkannten die schwierigsten Laute für einen Spanier: sch, ts, pf und die Vokale mit Umlaut. Mª Jesús Gil hat uns Tipps für die Aussprache von schwierigen Wörtern gegeben. Wir haben gelernt, wie man die Zunge platziert um die verschiedenen Laute auszusprechen. Ich glaube, die Aussprache der Vokale ist am schwierigsten, denn es gibt lange und kurze Vokale und auch Vokale mit Umlaut. Aber jetzt wissen wir, wie wir sie erkennen können und wie man sie aussprechen muss. Wir müssen viel üben...
„Übung macht den Meister“ Wir haben viele Spiele gemacht. Es gab „Donuts“ für die Gewinner und Verlierer. Wir haben die Aussprache von einigen Lauten mit einem „Donuts“ im Mund geübt. Das war lustig, wir haben viel gelacht.
Wir danken Frau Gil Valdés für ihren Besuch. Wir danken auch unserer Lehrerin Yolanda und der EOI für diese Gelegenheit. Es hat Spaβ gemacht und es war sehr praktisch.

Kleine deutsche Geheimnisse in Madrid Nayeli Rodríguez

„Maler machen nicht die Arbeit für die Augen eines Mannes.“ -Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza
Ich hatte das Glück, dieses Museum zu seinem 25. Jahrestag am 8. Oktober zu besuchen, und es ließ mich nicht gleichgültig. Es ist eine der wichtigsten privaten Sammlungen. Heute haben wir es in Madrid dank der Vermittlung der Spanierin Carmen Cervera, Ehefrau des Barons Hans Heinrich von Thyssen-Bornemisza. Obwohl Heinrich in Holland geboren wurde, stammt die Familie Thyssen aus Deutschland. Sein Vater, August Thyssen, gründete 1891 den ThyssenKonzern. 1997 wurde aus Thyssen und Krupp die berühme ThyssenKrupp AG, einer der mächtigsten deutschen Industriekonzerne des 20. Jahrhunderts.
Die Leidenschaft der Familie für die Kunst hat der Menschheit einen großen Gefallen getan. Wenn Sie das Museum noch nicht besucht haben, dann sollten Sie es in Ihren Terminkalender eintragen.

Raumbilder Ausstellung
Vom 8. April bis 22. Juni gibt es im Sabatini-Gebäude, im Museum Reina Sofía, die Ausstellung von fünf deutschen Bildhauern: Albert Hien, Thomas Schütte, Bogomir Ecker, Wolfgang Luy und Reinhard Mucha. Sie gehören alle derselben Generation an, aber ihr Stil ist sehr unterschiedlich.
Wir können eine industrielle und architektonische Ästhetik sehen. Thomas Schütte soll der bedeutendste Bildhauer von dieser Gruppe sein.
Wo kann man Deutsch sprechen? In Madrid kannst du Deutsch sprechen. Deutsch sprechen ist die beste Übung.

Deutsches Filmfestival in Madrid
Wenn Sie Kino und Kultur mögen, ist das Deutsche Filmfestival genau das Richtige für Sie. Es handelt sich um ein einwöchiges Festival mit Kurzfilmpremieren, Spiel- und Dokumentalfilmen. Darüber hinaus haben Sie die Gelegenheit, die Regisseure und Schauspieler zu treffen.
Im Juni 2018 findet das 20. Jubiläum im Palacio de la Prensa statt. Letztes Jahr hatten wir die Möglichkeit sehr unterschiedliche Genres zu sehen, darunter Science Fiction und Cyberpunk und sogar interaktives Kino. Verpassen Sie nicht, was dieses Jahr gezeigt wird!
l In vielen Cafés treffen sich Leute zum Sprachaustausch zum Beispiel: in Tandem Café. Jede Woche treffen sich die Interessierten in einem Café und sie sprechen Englisch, Deutsch... Seit 2000 organisiert Madrid Babel internationale Treffen. Sie organisieren auch Partys, Reisen, kulturelle Besuche und andere Aktivitäten. Du kannst viel Spaß haben!

Présentations des élèves de français de básico 1 petits-enfants. Je vais au cours de français pour apprendre le français parce que j´aime la langue française et les Français parce que j’ai travaillé à Bordeaux de 1959 à 1962 et les Français m´ont très bien traité. C´est pour ça que je garde un souvenir très attachant que je ne peux pas oublier.
Mes goûts et loisirs sont le cinéma, la musique, la lecture, marcher dans la campagne et la plage pour contempler la beauté de la mer et la nature. J’aime beaucoup ma famille et Dieu par-dessus tout.

Une femme courageuse et combattante
Avec un ciel si bas qu’un canal s’est perdu
Un homme entre la fermentation et les vaccins
l C’était un chanteur célèbre, né en Belgique le 8 avril1929. Il a commencé à écrire à l’âge de 15 ans, il s’est inspiré de la lecture de Jules Verne et de Jacques London. Par la suite il a créé une troupe de théâtre, mais, passionné par la musique classique, cet artiste a alors décidé de se lancer dans le monde de la chanson et a composé ses premières mélodies.
l Il est connu parce qu’il est devenu le père de la microbiologie moderne. Il était le troisième enfant de sa famille et il est né en 1822 à Dole. Les premières années de sa vie il a vécu à Dole, mais en 1830, sa famille s’est installée à Arbois. À cette époque, il était plus intéressé par la peinture que par les études et il faisait des portraits de membres de sa famille. Après, en 1840, il a obtenu le baccalauréat en lettres et puis en sciences mathématiques. Ensuite, il a fini ses études à l’École normale à Paris. Il s’est marié en 1849 et il a eu cinq enfants, mais trois sont morts pendant leur enfance. Il est entré dans l’histoire pour ses études sur la fermentation (il a découvert la pasteurisation) et sur les vaccins (vaccin contre la rage). Il est mort en 1895 d’un accident cérébral vasculaire.
Elle a défendu dans ses oeuvres le communisme, l’athéisme et l’existentialisme. Elle a voyagé en Chine, en Russie et à Cuba où elle a connu de célèbres personnalités communistes telles que Fidel Castro, Che Guevara et Mao Zedong. Elle est aussi considérée comme une théoricienne importante du féminisme. Pour cette raison en 2008 un prix qui porte son nom pour la liberté des femmes a été créé en son honneur. Alors la nation française a reconnu son rôle très important dans le mouvement de libération des femmes dans les années 1970. Elle est morte à Paris le 14 avril 1982 à 78 ans.
Qui est ce personnage célèbre?
En 1950 il s’est marié avec Thérèse Michielsen et a eu trois enfants. En 1951 il a commencé à chanter malgré la désapprobation de sa famille. En 1953 il s’est rendu à Paris. Une fois à Paris il a commencé à gagner sa vie en donnant des cours de guitare et il a continué à chanter jusqu’à ce qu’il soit remarqué par Bruno Cocatrix, un homme d’affaire du monde du spectacle.
Après s’être installé avec sa famille en France, il a continué à chanter dans divers endroits, il a aussi fait du théâtre. Il est devenu célèbre avec son premier grand succès “Quand on a que l’amour ”, ensuite, “Ne me quitte pas”, “La valse à mille temps”,... Il a partagé la fin de son existence avec Maddly Bany et s’est retiré aux Iles Marquises.

Son premier travail, L’invitée, est publié en 1943. Le succès a été immédiat. Ses autres oeuvres les plus célèbres sont Le Sang des autres (1945), Le Deuxième Sexe (1949) et Les Mandarins (1954).

Elle est née à Paris le 9 janvier 1908. Elle a fait des études de mathématiques et de philosophie à l’université de Paris. Là, à la faculté de lettres, elle a rencontré le philosophe Jean-Paul Sartre qui a été l’amour de sa vie mais ils n’ont pas eu d’enfants.

Le maison où je vis et la maison de mes rêves Quelques élèves de Intermedio 1 nous parlent de leur lieu de vie, leur village, leur quartier et nous ouvrent les portes de leur maison qui semblent bien belles! Ils nous racontent aussi avec qui ils vivent et comment se passe la cohabitation. Et ils ont plutôt l’air content de vivre là où ils vivent et avec les personnes qui partagent leur quotidien. Ma maison actuelle et la maison de mes rêves
l J’habite à Boadilla del Monte qui est situé à l’ouest de Madrid. Boadilla est un village très agréable, avec beaucoup de zones vertes et beaucoup de gens jeunes. Les rues sont larges et les bâtiments ne sont pas trop hauts.
J’habite dans un appartement de quatre pièces, trois chambres plus une salle à manger. Il y a aussi une cuisine, deux salles de bains, une terrasse et un étendoir. J’aimerais une cuisine un peu plus grande et

Une famille pleine d’amour
l Actuellement, je vis à Pozuelo dans un pavillon. Il est situé dans un quartier résidentiel. La Casa de Campo est à côté de ma maison. Je crois qu’elle est trop grande. Je voudrais qu’elle soit plus petite parce que si tu as laissé ton portable dans ta chambre, tu dois monter les escaliers pour le prendre. Ça a aussi des avantages. Par exemple, tu as beaucoup d’intimité. La maison est très bien distribuée. La cuisine et le salon sont au rez-dechaussée. Les chambres sont au premier étage et au deuxième étage. Le garage et la salle de jeux sont au sous-sol. Je ne voudrais pas changer la distribution.

Le logement de mes rêves serait à côté de la mer. Je voudrais vivre dans une maison avec un jardin très grand et dans un endroit tranquille entouré de nature. Un lieu que j’aimerais beaucoup serait sur une falaise avec des vues sur la mer. que les salles de bains aient des fenêtres. Je voudrais un petit jardin et que le garage soit plus grand.
J’habite avec ma femme et nous partageons les choses qu’il faut faire de ménage. Normalement, je fais les choses que Yael ne veut pas faire ou qu’elle n’aime pas et vice versa. Nous
Je vis avec mes parents et mon frère. J’aime beaucoup vivre avec eux. Mes parents sont très permissifs. Nous avons notre vie privée. J’aime beaucoup le fait qu’il y ait beaucoup de confiance entre nous et que nous nous racontions quelque chose sur nos affaires. L’année dernière, je n’avais pas de bonne relation avec mon frère et nous nous détestions. Cette année tout a changé. Nous nous défendons s’il y a un problème et nous nous aidons beaucoup.

La falaise aurait des escaliers pour descendre à la mer et pour aller sur le quai où serait amarré mon bateau à voile. Comme la maison serait installée sur une falaise entourée de nature, j’aimerais bien que le style soit en parfaite harmonie avec l’environnement et que la maison ait seulement un étage. C’est tout !

Mon logement
l J’habite à Boadilla, une petite ville dans la banlieue de Madrid, à environ 20 km du centre-ville. Il y a quelques monuments historiques à Boadilla, comme un palais du XVIIIème siècle, un couvent des Carmélites et une église du XVIIème siècle. Il y a aussi un grand parc, avec des chênes verts et des frênes, très agréable pour se promener.
La vie à Boadilla est facile et confortable car il y a beaucoup de magasins, de supermarchés et de restaurants.
Le quartier où j’habite s’appelle XXIe Siècle. C’est un quartier assez
neuf. Il a été bâti il y a environ dixsept ans, quand nous sommes venus vivre à Boadilla. J’habite dans un appartement au rez-de-chaussée. Nous avons un petit jardin où nous aimons nous asseoir quand il fait beau.
L’appartement est lumineux et confortable. Il y a trois chambres, deux salles de bains, un salon plutôt grand et une cuisine. C’est très pratique pour nous, mais je rêve de rénover la cuisine et les salles de bains. J’ai détesté leurs carreaux depuis la première minute que j’ai passée chez moi.
fils et une fille de seize ans. Ils sont jumeaux. Je ne changerais pas les personnes avec lesquelles je vis, mais, si j’avais une baguette magique, ils me souriraient tout le temps et leurs chambres seraient toujours bien rangées. Nous avons un petit chien, Bruce. C’est parfait !Jamais une grimace!
Je souhaiterais aussi acheter l’appartement de notre voisin pour agrandir ma chambre et faire un dressing plein de placards. J’aimerais avoir une chambre d’amis pour les invités. Ce serait formidable si on pouvait avoir un bureau pour mes livres et pour travailler tranquille.
Finalement, je voudrais bien amener la mer à Boadilla et profiter d’une belle vue sur la Méditerranée de notre jardin.

Vingt choses que je voudrais faire avant de mourir Sur le modèle du poème «Cinquante choses que je voudrais faire avant de mourir» de l’écrivain français du XXème siècle Georges Perec, les élèves de Intermedio 1 se sont essayés à la poésie et ma foi avec talent! Dans leur poème, comme George Perec, ils nous racontent tous leurs souhaits, leurs désirs des plus réalistes aux plus fous. Mais avant de les lire, voilà quelques extraits du poème de Georges Perec et vous pourrez constater que les élèves ne sont pas loin de faire aussi bien que lui!!! l Vivre à la campagne.

One of my favourite photos is this one of myself, my wife and my friends Paco and Gracia.
sightseeing around the city. When we were walking into an empty street my girlfriend took the photo. It was a photo of me smiling.
It was a sunny day. We were going to visit the Alcazaba of Almeria. I like this photo because it brings me good memories of my last holidays. We enjoyed them a lot. I have the photo on my phone and on my tablet.
Oh!!! Now I’m remembering that I have to pass that photo to my computer.
A professional photographer took the photo in the winter of 2015, on my wife´s birthday. We are standing and smiling on the right and behind us there is a big photo of Brooklyn Bridge.

I took the photo in the autumn when I was on holiday with my husband. We were in Benares city. There is the river Ganges. It's a sacred river and the people get up early to bathe. They think that the water cleans their sins.
I took the photo at 5:00 AM, next to the crematorium. It was awesome.
I love this photo because you see the reality of a belief. I have the photo on my computer with other photos of India.

classes. The children and I played and we laughed a lot.
I love this photo because I can see the children´s smiles and it reminds me of the best experience of mi life. I have the photo in a album with other photos of my trip to Guatemala.
I went there in February this year with my wife and some friends. Brussels is the capital of Belgium and we visited three very popular towns nearby: Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent and liked them a lot.
We were walking many hours through the streets of Brussels and arrived at Grand Place. The buildings were spectacular; they were illuminated with colored lights that were changing to the rhythm of the music.

One of my favourite photos is this one of my two children and my wife Ana. I took the photo last spring when I was on holiday with my family in Madrid Center. We were at a place called the Royal Palace in Madrid Center. It's an important building surrounded by gardens.

I love this photo because for me it is beautiful and tender. It´s a good memory of when my daughter was two months old. One of my favorite photos is this of my daughter and I. My husband took this photo in December of 2010 when we were in Rosas. My daughter and I were in Rosas for two months in my maternity leave while my husband was working in The Bulli Restaurant.
I always wanted to go to a place to help children. I went to help them to read and write. I lived in Antigua Guatemala. It´s a beatifuld place but I worked in another place, Alotenango. We went to the British Museum because we really like art and history. When we entered the hall of Egypt and Mesopotamia we were impressed by the great statues. I loved the statue of the lion guarding the palace of Ninive and I said to my friend: "I need a guardian like that in my house". She laughed and took my picture with my guardian. And this photo was the first photo of this trip to London. I really like this picture because I remember the beautiful day I was with my friend in London, and because that day I decided to return to the University to study Art History. I have this photo on my phone and on my computer with other photos of my experience in England.

19th September 1985, will never be forgotten in Mexico D.F.
I knew something bad was happening, but it was worse than I thought. My dad turned the TV on to watch the news, and they said that an earthquake had destroyed people´s homes in Mexico City. Many people had been made homeless, others were in bad condition and others had died.
I still remember the stressful and crazy days that my colleagues and I suffered in the Madrid Cargo Terminal Airport, when the unpronounceable Volcano´s name from Iceland started to throw tons of ashes, stopping the traffic in the North of Europe airspace.

Rescuers had a lot of work; they hoped to find survivors. Six days later rescuers found survivors under the rubble. It was incredible!
It took a long time to rebuild the city. 32 Years later on the same date 19th September 2017, another earthquake started. It was 8.1 on the Richter scale. After 90 seconds, the city was destroyed again. I wasn´t there but my family and friends were. I felt very worried about that and I was sad for all the people in Mexico that was affected.

We were seeing the news when a voice on the speakers said that all flights were delayed for security reasons, so it took us 4 or 5 hours to take our flight and come back home. In those hours we talked with our families and friends. It was definitely the longest wait and the worse hours because we didn't know anything. So I remembered that day with uncertainty, impatience and fear. That day I just wanted to return home, be with my family and then I tried to understand what had happened.

Tips for great photos
Currently, people take a lot of holiday photos but how many of these photos are so beautiful that we want to print them and enjoy seeing them in a frame or an album?
With these three tips for taking great photos you can be more successful with them. For example, don´t make people pose. If you want to photograph a person looking at your camera, one good idea is to add a nice blurred background. The person could stay in an original position not standing or sitting. Then, the photo will be much more suggestive.
On the other hand, if you want to take a close-up of something such as a flower or a bird using your zoom, you will achieve a more lively and energetic photo if your image is in motion. For this, you will need a wide-angle lens and the subject will be moving; for example, blowing or shaking it as if it was windy.
How to take a good photo? Pictures could be beautiful, interesting and also funny. You can introduce in them some amusing element. For example you can take a picture of someone and ask him to make any ridiculous pose, with his body or his face.
To take a good photo I'll give you three important tips:
FIRST TIP: pose naturally or don't pose. This tip is for the model. Also you can help yourself with someone else. Maybe you can ask someone to do something beautiful, like take a flower and besides smell them, but actually another person is doing something else behind her without her noticing and you try to catch the movement.

SECOND TIP: This second tip is for the photographer. Change the angle and the perspective of the photos to make them more unique than the rest.
THIRD TIP: This tip is for the photographer too. Just a second before taking the photo, put a funny face, this helps the model to get a natural smile, and the photo will be better.
Finally, if you want to take an original photo of a historical monument such as a cathedral or a palace, you can change the angle of the photo. For this, you have to throw yourself to the ground and focus up. The perspective will change and the result will be amazing and you will love it.
Try these different tricks and you will get wonderful vacation photos to enjoy with your family and friends.

PILI HUSSEIN, an incredible woman
This is the incredible story of a woman who made herself rich when she pretended to be a man to work in a gemstone mine. Her name is Pili Hussein. She wanted to
make a fortune finding gems, but she had a problem: women were not allowed to work in the mine. She grew up in a big family in Tanzania. She was one of the 38 children of a rancher who had 6 women and several farms. She married when she was very young and at the age of 31 she ran away from her bad husband. She was looking for a job for a long time and when she arrived at Merenani, in Tanzania, there was work only for men, not for women. In that place you can find a rare violet blue gemstone called Tanzanites. As women were not allowed to work in the mine, she dressed up as a man. She looked like a strong man and would be called “Uncle Hussein”.
Pili worked around 10 or 12 hours a day and she was strong and worked as any man was expected to do. One day she discovered two huge concentrations of Tanzanites and she became rich. Today Pili has her own company with 70 workers. She has married again. She says that she is proud of what she did but it was very difficult and she wants her daughter to go to school, get a good education and have a life different from what she experienced. In her company, only three women are working in the mine but as cooks and not as miners.

CARLOS SORIA FONTÁN, a Spanish climber
I don’t know if you know Carlos Soria Fontán. He’s a Spanish climber who, at seventy-eight years old, wants to climb the fourteen highest mountains on earth. He was

born in 1939 in Avila, Spain. He worked as an upholsterer until his retirement. An upholsterer is a person who repairs furniture such as chairs or armchairs.
He became interested in the mountains when he was only fourteen and he climbed some mountains in Sierra de Guadarrama in Madrid, near the Peñalara lagoon. In 1968 he was on the first Spanish expedition to Russia to climb mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe, 5642 meters high. We can compare it to Mount Teide, the highest mountain in Spain whose height is 3718 meters. However, it wasn’t until 1990 when he achieved his first eight-thousander, it means a mountain higher than 8000 meters. Since July 2011, he has been sponsored by the Spanish bank BBVA. Carlos Soria Fontán ascendend the summit of mount Annapurna in Tibet in May 2016. Now he only has to ascend two more eight-thousanders to reach his goal. It goes to show that if you want to do something… you can do it.

Ways to travel HOME EXCHANGE: A change of mentality Do you think travelling is one of the best ways to broaden one’s mind and improve your knowledge of the world we live in? I definitely do. That’s why, five years ago, my family and I decided to exchange our home.
Travelel Every time I talk with people about the way we travel, they are usually really surprised. They can’t understand how it’s possible to put all our belongings under risk of being damaged or even stolen.
House swapping is an alternative means of travel accommodation, through which two parties agree to swap their homes for a set period of time, with no monetary exchange. It’s based on trust, goodwill and mutual respect. House swappers are responsible and considerate people. They like to
treat your home and your possessions with as much respect as they treat their own.
The benefits of home exchange are many. It’s low cost, you don’t pay a dime for your lodging and since you have a full kitchen to cook in, you don’t have to spend money eating out. There are usually movies to watch, books to read and toys for your kids to play with. Moreover, the exchange partner will leave insider information about the area and that allows you to live like a local. This will bring you opportunities you have never imagined.

Inspiring Stories Custom-made Prosthetics
Asem Hasna is not a famous person; he is a young Syrian university student who lost his leg to a bomb in Syria. This story shows how an event can change our life in a second, how human nature can overcome the situation, and that we have the choice to look for an opportunity in hard circumstances. Furthermore, how our attitude can help other people and provide a very positive emotional input to ourselves.
Just Be Like the Sun
Sometimes we don’t appreciate what is given to us through our life. We envy what others have and we don’t, instead of being proud of what we have achieved and counting our blessings (which are more than what we believe).
I personally think that sometimes I have been like this too since at the end, envy is part of the human nature, but recently I found, scrolling down my Instagram screen, a young woman who has taught me different. Her name is Jessica Barcelo. She is 25 years old and lives in Miami, Florida. When she was born, she was diagnosed with type 1 osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bones). She has broken her bones over 20 times and has had more than 20 surgeries. She has rods on her spine, legs and thighs. Jessica’s motto in life is “be like the sun and you shall warm the Earth”’. For her it means that we have to spread love, light and goodness to everyone we meet just like the sun spreads it’s warmth and light without judging whether we `deserve’ it or not. Today, she is a blogger and amasses has over 5 thousand followers on Instagram showing (as she calls it) style on a wheel. Far from being embarrassed of her condition, she enjoys life and welcomes everyone to enjoy it with her.
Asem decided to be a volunteer of a small medical team to attend the war wounded.
He said, “To work as a paramedic was crazy. I remember a day working 18 hours without sitting. There was a lot of blood and injured bodies everywhere; no distinction between civilians, regime soldiers and rebels”.
Asem was supposed to take injured people to the hospital in an ambulance but one day the ambulance was hit by a bomb and as a result he lost his leg. He was at a challenging crossroads: to move on and do something to help other people or to give up and accept being disabled all life.
He realized that other refugees were in the same situation and took contact with a prosthetic aids organization.
The trigger was Yemeni, six-year boy, who lost his hands. He refused to communicate to anyone but Asem showed him his own prosthetic leg and asked him about his favourite cartoon hero. He replied: ”Ben10”. This was the starting point and inspiration to design and develop “custom-made” prosthetic aids to provide a bearable fit to children affected by the war tragedy of amputations.

For me, Jessica’s story is an example of inspiration and it has taught me not to let trivial and unimportant things get me down. Because everything can be much worse than the way it is right now. A gift for cancer patiens
Today I have been to the gift shop to buy a Christmas present and found a woman who really inspired me: an assistant with her very long and beautiful hair and her sweet smile. I have known her for 15 years; her hair used to be long, but now it is very, very long and she has changed her hairstyle and she has decided not to use hair dye. I told her that her hair was really amazing, and she told me that she wanted to donate her hair to AECC (Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer). For this reason she was looking after it the best that she could. She wanted her best hair for women that need it. I’m not sure what happiness is, but probably one of its forms is something similar to trying to do little things for other people. Those little things could make a big difference for someone who’s not having a great moment or even a great day.

At that moment I thought that it was very peculiar; now I think that it's totally neccesary to be kind to other people. We live in a hurry, we run everyday, we don't have enough time in our day. Fortunately, there are a lot of people who make life easier for other people around them: doctors, nurses, shop assistants, bus drivers, teachers, neighbours, and people that you meet in ordinary or extraordinary circumstances that give others their time: to tell them kind words, to listen to people with care, to give things to other people (sometimes, something very valuable like the shop assistant's hair),…

Audre Lorde, defender of rights and activist
Most of us will not know who Audre Lorde was. Please, don’t feel guilty. There are a lot of people who deserve being remembered. Thus, it is our role to remember them to highlight the importance of their purpose in our society.
Probably, these little things don’t change the world, but they give to others: peace, hope, a good moment in general, it’s a real present for everyone everyday.

Tererai Trent, overcoming in the worst conditions
Tererai Trent was born in a rural area in Zimbabwe where women are “domesticated” to be loyal wives and where there is not electricity or running water. When she was 18 she had already married and had 4 babies.
Audre Lorde (1934-1992) was a writer, feminist, womanist and civil rights activist. She was born in New York City and lived fiercely defending the rights of black women in the EEUU. Audre, well-known also as a talented writer, was able to surprise everybody with the intensity of her works. She ended up developing her skills studying in Mexico and the EEUU universities. There, she took her studies in library science, and she worked as a librarian for several years. Her writings where crucial to black women not only in the EEUU but in Germany too, where she took her ideas and spread them among black German people. Besides this, she supported the necessary idea of fighting through words instead of using violent ways. Her quotes are a main example today for a lot of women and black people worldwide. One of her most important quotes goes “Your silence will not protect you”. It does reflect the strong power of Audre to fight against racism, homophobia, chauvinism and also to defend civil rights.
Alejandro Borra. C1 Her life changed when she met an American woman who visited the country and asked her a fundamental question: “What are your dreams?” She encouraged her to achieve her own dreams about education. So she moved to the USA with her 6 children hiding everything related to the trip from her husband. She strove hard to succeed and not only did it take her 10 years the get her high school diploma, but she finished her masters in dire straits as well: 4 children with no access to a scholarship, no utilities or fresh food, and 3 jobs. This studious and thorough woman had a very strong motivation and after studying for 20 years she got her PhD. She wanted to help other women from her country to follow their dreams and she created an International Foundation whose aim is to give the opportunity to girls and women to have universal access to quality education.

A Community Hero
I am not going to write about an inspiring story, but an inspiring person, or at least, an inspiring person for me. He was a priest of a church in a poor and marginal neighborhood in the south of Madrid.
He wasn’t that kind of hero that someone could think heroes are. No he wasn’t. He just was an everyday hero, that kind of person that spends all his life trying to make others people’s life easier and happier. He was renowned in the neighborhood. Everybody knew where to go when they needed something, not only when they didn’t have food or money to buy the transport card, but also when they needed some advice, when they felt sad or lonely or simply when they needed someone to talk to. It didn’t matter if it was one p.m. or a.m. His house was always open to anyone in need.

In addition, he achieved a huge milestone: he spread between young people the seed of cooperation involving them in community issues. He used to draw the youngest and qualified people of the community into planning activities in the neighborhood to get food for the needy; giving extra lessons to children that couldn’t read or write, even programming playful activities for children. Everything to encourage teenagers to continue with their studies and to build up a better future away from drugs. This is the story of a real person, Father Tomás, one of the best people I have ever met.

Overcoming domestic violence
One month ago, I met a woman called Isabel López, originally from Granada, Spain, but living in Madrid. I spent one day with her because we, me and a little team of two people, went to her house to film her story for a documentary. A story of a domestic violence victim.
We didn’t know the details of her story, but then the interview started and all three of us were shocked at her story. She had studied engineering and she became the director of an American multinational, and after that she launched her own business with her husband. But she got divorced and everything started at this point. A few months later, while still vulnerable, she met another man. Then, this man started to hit her and the little girl they have in common; he also manipulated her mind in a way that she left her business with her ex-husband and she stayed at home working as the secretary to this horrible man, who is a plumber. After a hard fight, she plucked up the courage to call 016, the phone number for domestic violence victims.
After 4 years of struggling with the Justice System- the judge, who is a woman too, is against women in these cases- Isabel is awaiting a judicial sentence that may put this man in prison. Now, she has a new husband and children who are amazing, and at the age of 43 she’s studying law to change the Justice System from the inside and to help these women who are fighting against domestic violence every day.

There is beauty and love in suffering
My mom, who is a psychologist, and I found the story of Susan and Michael Schofield, a couple that had a schizophrenic-born daughter called Jani. This is such a strange case because schizophrenia usually appears in early adult age. This story is quite sad because, although being a smart girl, she cannot control herself most of the time and she

I really admire this family because, although I can only guess their suffering and impotence, I can see how much love pushes this family forward so that they can always find a way. I have visited some institutions for people with disabilities and it is sad when you see people deserted by their own relatives. I admire the Schofields’ courage, patience, determination and love. I would like to find more of these values in our present-day culture of disposability.

Getting good in bad times No matter the place, no matter the times, what really counts is your attitude.
Qamar Hussein shows us that it is feasible to bring back hope even to the most desperate people. In a chaotic refugee camp in Bangladesh, when a crowd of Rohingya refugees arrive to live in dire straits, a man with no more than his determination manages to reunite over 700 missing children with their families.
Qamar was a 9 years old boy when he crossed the border towards Bangladesh in a desperate quest for a way out, getting away from furious patrolmen, and ended up in the refugee camp. Scared and unable to contact his parents, he never went back. One day, a woman crying desperately called his attention. Her son, 9 years old, had got lost. Qamar immediately thought of his own experience and did not hesitate to help her. So, he bought a megaphone and walked around calling out the name of the child, the village he came from, and the name of his parents. Many others came up to him asking for help to look for their missing children. Despite lacking the most basic resources, Qamar has figured out how to bring joy and hope even to those that have lost what they love the most.

Academic travelling experiences Exchange to England Three years ago I did an exchange with my high school to England. I stayed in a small house in a village called Silverdale, 20 minutes away from Lancaster. I went for one week.
The family was fantastic. They were a big family composed by three girls, two boys and the parents, and they all lived in the same house, including the oldest sister´s boyfriend. So we were eight people living in a house!
My exchange person was called Molly, and she was my same age. We had lots of great moments and we also started a friendship. My experience was different from the first time I went to England (I visited London)
because Lancaster is a small town and Silverdale also a very small village. The people were so nice and I noticed that they were ecologists and workers of the primary sector because I saw a lot of farms there. Also, it was the greenest place I have ever visited.
But about the food, I did not enjoy it that much. In my exchange house I did not have the opportunity to try a typical dish neither in the city. I did not eat anything new, I went to an Indian and an Italian restaurant, not very English food.
Finally, I had a great experience and I want to do it again.
My first experience abroad I was about fifteen when I first travelled abroad.
It was an exchange with a Danish High School and I went with my school and other students to know about Danish culture and education and to practice English with non Spanish speakers. The trip took place in the late 80´s or very early 90´s, I don´t remember the exact date.
What I remember best of that experience is the sensation I had when I got there. In that moment I thought it wasn´t only a trip abroad but a real journey to the future, everything was absolutely different for me, everything seemed extremely modern or even futuristic, I would say.
Something that really surprised me was that everybody moved along the city riding their bikes even though it was freezing. That fact made me notice that while all the Spanish students wore very thick and

heavy coats to fight the freezing wind, Danish students wore very light and efficient ones. Another thing that really astonished me was the lack of fruit at homes. I had the image in my mind of Spanish housewives carrying heavy bags of assorted fruits and forcing their children to eat five pieces of fruit a day to get enough vitamins to grow strong and healthy, but in Denmark I had to eat fruit only if I wanted to and if I didn´t they just wouldn´t buy it for me. They only bought a single apple or orange daily for the rest of the members of the family.
Well, just to finish, this experience abroad took place a long time ago now, so I can´t remember every detail clearly, but these little things I´ve told here are the ones that attracted my attention the most and because of that...
...these memories have remained in my mind for so long.

I can remember nowadays, as if it was yesterday, the day that I crossed the pond to start a new adventure in my life. This happened to me the last year of university. In order to get my biotechnology degree certificate, it was compulsory to pass the Final Project, which consisted in developing a little scientific investigation in a laboratory, with the goal of getting some data and results to build up a short ‘thesis’. My university offered me to work abroad, so I took that opportunity without thinking it twice and I travelled to Milwaukee (Wisconsin, USA), in order to work in the Medical College of Wisconsin.

The idea was astonishing, but the reality was that going and living there for six months as a student sounded impossible. Thus, to make my stay more sustainable, I applied for a student grant, called Faro Global programme (very similar to the so-called Erasmus-practices). Thanks to it, it was possible and affordable (for my parents, mainly), not only to work abroad in a very important laboratory, but also to know about the lifestyle of another country, and, not less important, to discover my capabilities and my strength for living alone and far from my family and friends, just being 21 years old.
During my stay, apart from visiting Milwaukee city many times, and going out with housemates and labmates, I travelled to Chicago twice, because it was only 2 hours away from Milwaukee by train. These little trips were amazing for me, just because I wished, since I was a teenager, to go to Chicago as soon as I could. Both cities are similar, except for the fact that Chicago is bigger, and it has very important skyscrapers, like the Willis Tower, or the John Hancock Center. To conclude, from my experience, I totally recommend young students, who are going to start their university studies, not to miss the opportunity to study abroad if they have it, because...
...they will gain a huge amount of experiences and friends which will help them for their future, and, most important they won’t ever forget.

The meaning of hospitality Three years ago I travelled to one of the most hospitable countries of the world: Japan. I have lived a lot of incredible moments through my trip around the country but I specially remember one of them.

The real worth of freedom The story I am going to tell you happened some years ago, when I was living in Colombia working there. The company where I was working in that moment asked me if I had any inconvenient to live abroad. I saw that as a good opportunity to enjoy an amazing experience knowing different places and people. Nevertheless, everything was very different from what I had imagined. At first, everything seemed to go as it should go. However, in a cold February night something happened that changed my life for the rest of my days. I was waiting for the taxi which I had booked by phone half an hour before when a long black car with dark windows appeared in front of me. A not too tall man wearing a white shirt and a black tie opened the back door and invited me to get into the car. I thought that it was the taxi I had booked but when I was taking seat another one beat me on the head and I lost consciousness. This was the beginning of the longest kidnapping by the FAR. Yes, I had been kidnapped by one of the most dangerous armed groups in the world. I

was set free after long talks between both embassies and the armed group.
In the end everything finished ok and I knew different places and people but I did not enjoy it. Nevertheless, this experience taught me the real worth of freedom and how important it is to share it with the people you love.

My younger brother I'm going to talk about my younger brother, his name is Ignacio. When he was young he loved playing football and tennis. He has always played tennis very well, and he still plays whenever he has the time. He studied law at the university in Madrid, and when he finished it he went to Barcelona to work for a newspaper but after eight years he was dismissed and his life changed. He bought a sailboat and with a partner, they created a company called " Zanzan Charters". They charted sailboats to go to the Balearic Islands: Majorca and Ibiza. But after
ten years doing that, my brother and his girlfriend decided to travel to Panama, exactly to San Blas Islands. They have been living there since then, chartering their sailboat and discovering the nearly 365 islands.
But this is their last year in Panama. In June they´ll come back to Spain to live in Majorca where they have bought a house and they´ll begin a new life. My worst holidays I think that no trip is bad, although sometimes complications occur and they remain in our memory as an anecdote and certainly with time it makes you laugh. For example my last trip to Costa Rica. A country in Central America where you think the weather is sunny, the sea water is warm, the beaches have white sand and the sky is always blue. But no, on this occasion it wasn’t like that. There was a strong storm and it rained almost every day. But now when I see the pictures, despite the cloudy skies, I realise that I had the opportunity to be there on huge and wild beaches. I was able to see the fantastic vegetation, it is a green country with

waterfalls that appear in any corner. I took a walk across hanging bridges over the jungle.
I have been able to see, in their natural habitat, animals like antbears, sloths, monkeys, cocodriles, iguanas and more…. I have visited both, the Caribbean and the Pacific beaches. I saw the sunset in the Pacific Sea while drinking a good cocktail with tropical juices and listening to a relaxing music. It was a good experience, to spend a few days alone just my daughter and I. In short, there are always good memories about a trip although, a priori, it may seem like a small disaster.
NAMIBIA. The Namib Desert (SAND DUNE 45)

The photo was taken two years ago during my summer holidays in Namibia. For two days I visited a place called Sossusvlei, in the Namib Desert, and its famous orange sand dunes. Namib, the name of this desert, means vast and when you are there you understand perfectly why it is called so.
The picture shows exactly The Dune 45, perhaps one of the most beautiful in the area. These dunes have been created by sand being carried by the wind from the coast. The wind in Sossusvlei blows from all directions, and that is the reason why the dunes are known as "star" dunes - as they cause the sand to form a star shape with multiple "arms". Climbing dune 45 is allowed and it is an experience that nobody should miss out. The temperature usually is very high during the day, so it is better to get there early. While you are climbing you can see
your footprint on the edge of the dune, but only 10 minutes later your footprint will have vanished. Finally, when you get on the top the landscape is amazing, the feeling is like you are alone in the middle of the world and when you look around, the surroundings make you feel insignificant and small, as a simple sand grain in the desert.

l I would like to write about a very special object for me. I own an antique album of photographs which belonged to my grandparents. My mother gave it to me some years ago, one day that I was asking her about my family. We were having an after-dinner conversation and I was very interested in knowing what my ancestors looked like. Then, she suddenly stood up and told me: “Wait for me. A picture is worth a thousand words” and she went Eva Escobar Pérez. AV2 to look for something in the bottom of a wardrobe. When she came back she brought an old photo album in her hands. She placed it carefully over the dining room table. “I want you to take care of a special treasure”, she whispered. And that’s how my mother bequeathed her memories to me.
A special treasure
The album doesn’t have economic value. The covers are made of a thick cardboard. The pages are sewn by hand with green threads and when I opened it and I saw all of those pictures inside I thought those were the threads that bound me to my past.
The album starts in 1931. In its first page my maternal grandparents appear looking very young, maybe in their twenties. This paged is followed by so many, full of old pictures of my family. They seem happy, looking at the objective, walking through the streets of Madrid, picnicking under the shadow of a tree or leaning out of the window of the first hairdresser that they settled in Arenal Street.
The album ends suddenly in 1936. In this last page I can see my grandparents rowing in a lake, may be in Casa de Campo, with a group of friends. They look so young and happy!!
It seems magical to me...to be able to see through the years, as if time had not passed, all of these moments immortalized for me. I asked to my mother why there are so many photos from those years, it was no common to take pictures, and she told me that her great uncle was a photographer. I would like to know more about all the people who appear in the pictures, what they did and what happened to their lives so I have encouraged my mother to write about the story of her family. I don´t want to lose this important information. I have many other photo albums stored in my house, but none is so special like this, because...is there anything more special than a grandparent?

My grandmother was an incredible woman. She loved to read, and she had a prodigious memory. She wanted to learn everything but, she was a girl in a village, and her parents considered that knowledge was not important to her.

l I own an antique Davy mining lamp that belonged to my grandfather and then to my mother. It was made in England in the 1930s and has a heavy base made of brass and glass and a large hook at the top to hold it by.
My grandfather worked as a miner in the coal mine of his little village in northern Palencia. He used to tell us how hard this job really was, probably, the hardest in the world. In
fact, he lost three fingers of his right foot which were severed by accident in the mine but it could have been much more serious. I know some other young miners who died in the mine those days as well. Afterwards, it was closed so nobody works there nowadays. When my grandfather retired, he treasured his lamp and then it was bequeathed to my mother who placed it in the corner of the living room. Some years later, I
started studying Mining Engineering at the University (although I didn’t finish my degree) and some years later, after that, I married a mining engineer so my mother thought the lamp could be a special gift for him. Now my grandfather’s mining lamp belongs to my husband but anyway, it has sentimental value for both of us. So, it takes a preferential place in the “mining corner” of our home, we will always treasure it.

l One summer, when I was about 24 years old, I tried to go into a karaoke, but there was a problem, I was with the daughter of some friend’s who was a minor at that time. The doorman saw us and then told us that we couldn't pass inside. Although to my surprise, when I asked for the reason he told us that we couldn’t be in that place because we were underage and we had to be with an adult.
Then, as I was in shock for his reasons, I was looking for my ID to show to him, and by that way prove that I was an adult. Then, he apologized, and finally we were able to access the karaoke to start singing some karaoke songs that she wanted.

Running, running, finally stuck
The osage nation
l When I was young I was very concerned about time going on. No matter how old or even how young I was, I always felt that I could not afford to waste any time and I always felt that I had to hurry up to achieve every milestone in my life.
l They were settled by all of North America at its height, occupying part of the present states of Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. They currently live in Oklahoma, at the Osage Reservation.
This is the story of my life, in fact, this is the point where I find myself.
I hurried for my whole high school period, then I was in a hurry to obtain my university degree and I was in a hurry in search of work before it all goes!
Eventually I realized that most of the time I was expecting to complete the different stages of my life as soon as possible, nevertheless with these expectations, I missed many chances to just enjoy the moment. Right now I'm stuck because I was operated in June, and I have been off work for these last six months. Many plans are postponed and some projects are in standby for that reason. Besides, actually, I don't know yet when I could restart them.
In any case, this rest period has served to show me how important is every single moment, not only to be able to reach the end. From my current point of view, it is much more important to enjoy the whole process than to achieve the final goals you have planned.

In the state of Oklahoma lies an Indian nation or tribe called Osage, but you can find them all over North America and Europe.
At the beginning of the 20th century oil was discovered in its territory. Oil became a nightmare: Members of the richest families were killed, mostly women and so their white husbands would inherit “the business”. From 1907 to 1929 they sold more lands to non-Indians, and the FBI was forced to intervene in a land-based murder case. Currently they still wear the clothes their predecessors used to use, for events such as weddings or parties. The garments were of very good quality and of skins like the one of deer and wool. Specifically at the wedding in Osage, the bride is dressed with a set reminiscent of a French soldier´s uniform, due to the influence of this country on the Osage throughout its history.

Eduardo de Oñate. IN2 The film “Lion” is an Australian-American drama.
l The movie is based on the non-fiction book “A Long Way Home”, by Saroo Brierley, published in 2013 in Australia and adapted into the 2016 film Lion. The name Lion is the translation into English of the name of the protagonist, Saroo (Sheru), a diminutive for the Hindi word “sher” for "Lion”. The film was shot on location in Australia and India.
This film was written by Luke Davies and directed by Garth Davies, and it is based on a real life event. The music was composed by Dustin O'Halloran and Hauschka.
Its main characters are Dave Patel, who was the leading actor and played the part of Saroo Brierley, and Nicole Kidman, who played the role of his adoptive mother, Sue Brierley. The plot is as follows: Saroo Brierley (born 1981) is an Indian-born Australian businessman who at age 5, was separated from his birth mother. He was adopted by an Australian couple, and 25 years later, with the help of Google Earth, he got to meet his birth mother.
I strongly recommend Lion. It is a dramatic film, but it is a sensitive drama with a delicious and delicate script. It is worth seeing.
Wild Tales (2014) l If you like black humour or, better, black humour mixed with drama, I would recommend you this great movie, a 2014 Argentine-Spanish anthology, composed of six short stories. The plots of all of them were written and directed by Damian Szifron. All of them have a common theme: instinctive violence and vengeance. The titles of these stories are the following: "Pasternak", "The rats, "The Strongest", "Little bomb", "The proposal", and "Till death do us apart".
The film -a stunning performance, with an ensemble and wonderful cast consisting of: Ricardo Darín, Óscar Martínez, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Érica Rivas, Rita Cortese, Julieta Zylberberg, and Darío Grandinetti- was co-produced by the Almodóvar brothers and received a very big acclaim in South America, where it won many prizes and accolades, as well as in the United Kingdom and Spain, where it was awarded with the Goya for best Spanish foreign language film.
Antonio Audije. AV1 What makes this black and white film more interesting is that all stories are very different, as if each were a different movie; but, as its director said, they are “vital organs of the same body" for sustaining the film. All of them take place in scenes and landscapes very similar to ours in Spain: the roads, the cities and the country, where the stories happened, are very real. The director shows us what the main difference between human and animals is: the capacity that human has to restrain oneself, opposed to animals who are guided by their instincts. But human control costs a very high price: stress, frustration of having to repress oneself.
Finally I want to recommend you "Little bomb", the “tender” story of Simon Fischer (characterized by Ricardo Darín), a demolition expert, that begins his action when he picks up a cake for his daughter's birthday party and discovers that his car has been towed away; it ends with our protagonist arrested, divorced, fired by his company, imprisoned and, finally, he becomes a local hero.

Santa Cristina de Lena Twelve centuries waiting for you
l Next to the highway from León to Asturias, on top of a
green, small hill and hidden behind a circle of protective trees, a little jewel has been dominating the landscape for ages. The pre-romanesque church of Santa Cristina de Lena, located 35 km. south of Oviedo, in the council of Pola de Lena, goes undeservedly unnoticed for most people.
Probably seated on an older Visigothic church, Santa Cristina was erected in the Asturian style during the 9th century under the reign of Ramiro I, like its more famous “sisters”, Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo. It is listed as National Artistic Historical Monument and, since 1985, as World Heritage. Its rectangular floor plan draws an only clear space delimited by four walls and a barrel vault built in rough stone with the only addition of four little chambers, the entry, the apse and two tiny chapels, one in each side. In the inside, the altar is elevated and framed by a stone archway.
Although there is already a sightseeing timetable and you no longer have to look for the old lady who used to keep the key, the path through the hill, the few visitors, the silence, the dark inside, its simple structure and sparse decoration,... will make the visit simply magic. Spend a little time and you will travel twelve centuries back to a charming little jewel that is waiting for you.

Deutschland l Ich vermute, dass die Reise, die mir am besten gefallen hat, war die Reise nach München, die ich im Juni 2016 erlebt habe. Meine Reise begann den 15. Juni, als ich nach Deutschland geflogen bin. Anfangs hatte ich ein bisschen Angst davor, weil ich nicht wusste, wohin ich gehen musste, aber die Familie war toll. Sie hatten ein Haus in der Nähe des Zentrums. Die Familie waren 4 Kinder, Vater und Mutter. Die Mutter war Musikantin.
Ich habe 15 Tage da gelebt und die Tage waren echt super, weil ich viel Deutsch gelernt habe und viel Tourismus gemacht habe.
Aber das Beste waren... die Bretzeln!! Bretzeln sind die beste Sache, die man erfunden hat!

My worst holiday l Nine years ago, my boyfriend and I went on
holiday to Asturias, Ribadesella. I had heard that it was one of the most beautiful places in Spain. I was very happy when my boyfriend gave me the news. He told me that it was similar to my country, Romania. When we decided to go we were spending a few days in Aguilas, Murcia – where my in laws lived. So we went to a travel agency there and we took half board in a rural house for five days.. To be honest the price was excessive and I said to myself that the house should be very nice or something like that...We didn´t see lots of photos.
At first, the trip seemed eternal because we got lost. The navigator got us on some routes in the middle of the mountains that made me scared. We arrived almost at night and the rural house wasn´t at all what I imagined. It was very small with very small rooms. I used to like the rain...but that was before these holidays. The next day it started to rain and it never stopped. Seeing the sea next to the mountains impressed me a lot, but we couldn´t do more things because of the rain... So my five – day trip turned into a three – day trip. We came back to Madrid. I hope to return soon and really enjoy it.

München l Ich bewahre unsere letzte Sommerreise in guter
Erinnerung. Wir sind im Juni nach München und in die Nähe von Österreich gereist. Zuerst sind wir ins Flugzeug in Madrid eingestiegen. Wir sind nach München geflogen. Wir haben viele Kirchen und auch den Marienplatz, wo ich meine Handtasche vergessen habe, besichtigt. Als ich plötzlich es bemerkt habe, bin ich dort sehr schnell zurückgegangen und... Überraschung! Die Handtasche war in dem gleichen Platz, in dem ich sie gelassen habe. Besonders gut hat mir der Flohmarkt gefallen. Dort kann man viele verschiedenen Sachen kaufen: sehr gut aussehendes Obst und Gemüse oder besondere Geschenke aus Holz. Neben dem Flohmarkt liegt ein gemütlicher und lustiger Biergarten, in dem Menschen Essen und Getränke kaufen können. Dort kann man an
denselben Tischen neben unbekannten Menschen sitzen und essen und auch mit ihnen sprechen.
Außerdem sind wir in ein typisches tirolisches Restaurant gegangen. Die Hauptspeise - immer Schwein - und der Nachtisch haben mir gut gefallen. Ich hoffe, wir können sehr bald zurückkommen.
La femme en salopette bleue l Je vais raconter les vacances en hiver que j´avais l´habitude de passer quand j´étais enfant et maintenant encore. Je passais mes vacances en France ou en Andorre. Je passais mes vacances avec ma famille et parfois avec des amis. Je partais une ou deux semaines, en hiver, normalement en janvier. J´utilisais la voiture et je me logeais dans un hôtel, normalement avec des vues sur les pistes de ski. Je prenais le petit-déjeuner et je dînais à l´hôtel mais pour le déjeuner je mangeais un sandwich. Pendant mes vacances je faisais du ski. Je m´avais pas d´amis en France et je ne rencontrais pas de nouvelles
personnes. Quelquefois j´allais avec mes cousins, quelquefois j´allais avec des amis et quelquefois j´allais seulement avec ma famille. J´ai quatre soeurs et deux frères je n´ai donc jamais été seule et je ne m´ennuyais pas. Je passais de très bonnes vacances, j’aime faire du ski et passer du temps avec ma famille.
Je vais raconter une anecdote qui m´est arrivée pendant ces vacances: une fois où j´étais avec mes soeurs en haut d´une piste à attendre mes parents qui montaient sur le télésiège, mes soeurs ont décidé de partir parce qu´elles disaient que mes parents n’étaient pas montés

Berlin l Letzte Woche habe ich eine schöne Reise mit meiner Familie gemacht.Wir sind mit unserem Wohnmobil nach Berlin gefahren. Im Wohnmobil hatten wir alles: Essen, Getränke, Kleidungen, usw. Wir sind ungefähr 150 Kilometer pro Tag gefahren und als wir ein schönes Dorf sahen, übernachteten wir dort.

In der Schweiz haben wir Englisch gesprochen und als wir in Deutschland waren, hat meine Mutter Deutsch gesprochen.
Vacances avec la «PANDILLA»
l Quand j´étais petite j’avais l´habitude d´aller quelques jours en hiver dans un gîte rural avec ma famille et trois autres familles qui étaient nos amis. Nous nous appelions “La pandilla”. Nous
allions en voiture et chaque année nous choisissions un endroit différent en Espagne. Nous étions beaucoup d´enfants et le gîte rural était énorme, alors nous aimions courir dans les couloirs et jouer à cache-cache (nous nous cachions dans une chambre et un joueur devait nous trouver). Comme les vacances correspondaient aux fêtes de Noël, tous les ans le Père Noël venait sur son traîneau et nous apportait des cadeaux à tous.
Une anecdote que je peux raconter de ces vacances est que le dernier jour les enfants nous préparions une pièce de théâtre pour les adultes. C´était généralement amusant et nous faisions des costumes avec des draps. Une fois, nous l´avons fait en nous inspirant du programme : “Mujeres y hombres y viceversa ”. Ça a été très drôle. Ces voyages étaient très bien organisés et j´en ai de très bons souvenirs.

My worst holiday l My worst trip experience was when I went to Gerona thirty years ago. I needed to take some relaxing days off because I had so much work. So, I decided to climb mountains in the Pyrenees. I took a train from Chamartín station to Barcelona Sants station. After that I needed to take a bus to Camprodón, a lovely town in the north of Gerona. When I was going to Chamartín station an incredible snowfall started. My train was delayed and there were a lot of people waiting in the hall, in the same situation.
Fortunately my train left four hours later, and when we were near Zaragoza the train stopped in the middle of the storm. We stayed there for twelve hours and nobody told us what had happened. All

people were demanding information and the situation was unsustainable. The heating was broken and there was nothing to eat or drink. Finally, after twelve hours waiting for help we could be rescued by the emergency team. We finally arrived in Barcelona and at this moment I realised that I had lost my bags. They weren’t in the train and I thought someone had stolen them. After that, I went to the police station and I filed a complaint. Since them, I haven’t heard anything about my suitcase and, of course, my holidays ended without having even started. See you soon!!!!

Vacances à la montagne l Je me souviens de mes vacances dans le petit village où mon père est né. Ce village est dans la province de Burgos et aussi dans la Sierra de la Demanda. Mes parents ont acheté une maison là-bas quand j´avais 14 ans, j´y passais mes vacances avec ma famille, nous partions tout le mois d´août. Mon père aimait beaucoup la montagne, il aimait monter sur les sommets et voir le paysage, moi,
j´aimais l´accompagner. Pendant ces promenades il m´apprenait les plantes, les fruits sauvages ou à nettoyer des sources. Quand nous mangions un

I was working at my company as a project manager and I needed to visit some construction works on commercial premises in Plasencia and Don Benito. As I couldn’t go by train or plane, I decided to rent a car and I went with my mother because she could be visiting the cities with me those days while I was working. We would be away from home for about a week.
The first part of the trip was fine and without problems. I knew the route to go to Don Benito because I used to go once a week but, when we continued our trip to Plasencia I decided to use the satnav because I had never made that route. Suddenly, I didn’t know how, we were going in the wrong direction, we had taken a secondary road and I couldn’t turn back. I remember that I thought: “Don’t worry, be calm, this route will be longer but it´s Ok”, so I continued driving my rent car quietly following the instructions of the satnav. I was nervous but I didn´t want to worry my mother and end up arguing with her. At that moment, it started to rain a lot, I
Estrémadure, terre des conquérants
l L´Espagne est située au sud de la
France et à l’est du Portugal, entourée par la mer Méditerranée au sud et à l´est et baigné par l´océan Atlantique au nord. La région dont nous allons parler, L´Estrémadure, est située au sud-ouest de l´Espagne, à l´est du Portugal. Pour aller en Estrémadure de Madrid, nous pouvons aller en voiture, en bus ou en train. Pour visiter les zones touristiques de la région, nous pouvons utiliser le bus, mais la voiture nous donne plus de liberté. Les sites les plus importants que nous devons visiter sont des villes comme Trujillo, Mérida ou Caceres, des sites naturels comme la région de Vera, le parc naturel de Monfragüe, la zone du fleuve Tajo ou la sierra de Gata.
Dans cette région j´ai passé les étés de mon enfance parce que les grandsparents vivaient là.

Only when I started seeing mountains I knew we were in The National Park of Monfragüe. Suddenly, it stopped raining and a radiant sun appeared but, to my surprise, the road was one lane and the night was coming. My mother was scared even though I was driving very slowly because there were many curves on the road and we saw in the distance that other cars were coming towards us. I don´t remember having gone through such panic, to my left there was a mountain and to my right ravines.
The landscape was wonderful, beautiful and we stopped in a great place to see: “The Giant´s Jump”, a gorgeous mountain with eagles, nets and other birds. In the end, we had an epic trip and it was dangerous and amazing at the same time, it was an unforgettable
experience!!!
Le meilleur de l’été
l Je vais vous parler du Baix Maestrazgo. C’est une région au Nord de Castellón dans la Communauté Valencienne. On peut y aller en voiture, en train ou en bus et se rendre à Peñíscola.
Depuis 2013, Peñíscola appartient à l’association des plus beaux villages d’Espagne. C’est un village médiéval avec des petites rues escarpées. Dans la partie la plus haute du village il y a un château, c’est le château du Papa Luna. On peut aller à la Sierra d’Irta qui est un parc naturel ou monter à vélo le long de la côte méditerranéenne. Et le plus important, on peut aller aux deux plages de Peñiscola: une grande et longue ou l’autre petite et plus tranquille de sable fin. On peut pratiquer les sports typiques de la mer, prendre un bateau-bus et aller aux îles Columbretes. J’ai choisi ce lieu parce que je vais à Peñíscola en vacances chaque été.

Apprendre à connaître Cordou
l Je vais présenter la province de Cordou, une région d´Espagne. Elle se trouve au Sud de l´Espagne, entre la région de Séville et Jaen. Pour se rendre dans cette région vous pouvez prendre la voiture, le bus ou le train.
Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire à Cordou. Vous pouvez visiter la Mosquée-Cathédrale, un édifice qui intègre des eléments historiques qui appartiennent à différentes cultures et civilisations. Vous pouvez aussi visiter l´Alcazar et le pont romain, qui a une belle vue sur la riviére. Á midi allez au Bar Santos pour manger la meilleure omelette aux pommes de terre. Finalement vous pouvez visiter le parc naturel du la Sierra de Hornachuelos. J´ai choisi cette región parce que elle est trés belle et vivante.

Les vacances de mon enfance l Pilar de Frutos. BA1
Un été d´une autre époque l Quand j´étais petite, mes grandsparents avaient une maison à la plage à Alicante, où on avait l´habitude de passer les vacances en été. J´y allais quand l´école était finíe en juin jusqu´à ce qu´elle recommence en septembre. Nous y allions avec la petite voiture de mon ncle tous ensemble, mes grands-parents, ma soeur, mes oncles, et même le canari de ma grand-mère avec sa cage. C´étaient des voyages très longs et très
incommodes mais je m´en souviens avec tendresse. C´était une époque très heureuse. On passait tout le temps qu´on pouvait à la plage à se baigner dans la mer. J´aimais jouer avec les vagues avec mes amis, nous cherchions des coquillages et nous faisions des chateaux de sable.

l Letzten Winter bin ich nach Österreich gereist.
Mein Vater, meine Mutter und mein Freund sind mitgekommen. Wir sind nach München geflogen.
Dort haben wir ein Auto geliehen und wir sind nach Österreich gefahren. In Österreich haben wir ein schönes Haus gemietet, das in Kiztbuhel liegt, weil wir Ski fahren wollten und man da Ski fahren kann. Dort sind wir eine Woche lang geblieben. An manchen Tagen, wenn das Wetter nicht schön war, haben wir Salzburg besichtigt, die eine schöne Stadt ist und ein wunderbares Schloss hat. Wir haben auch andere Sehenswürdigkeiten besichtigt. Eines Tages haben wir einen Wasserfall im Berg besucht. Die Reise hat mir gut gefallen und ich möchte in der Zukunft zurückkommen.

Zubereitung

1. Schälen und waschen Sie die Kartofffeln und die Zwiebeln.
l 1kg Kartoffeln l ein großes Ei
l 30g Weizenmehl
l Salz und Petersilie
2. Trocknen Sie die Kartoffeln und die Zwiebeln ab. 3. Reiben Sie die Kartoffeln und die Zwiebeln fein. 4. Fügen Sie in die Mischung das Ei, das Mehl, das Salz und die Petersilie.
5. Mixen Sie alles und teilen Sie nachher die Kartoffelmasse in 100g Portionen. 6. Braten Sie die flachen Portionen in heißem Sonnenblumenöl. 7. Essen Sie die Kartoffelpuffer heiß, am besten mit Apfelkompott.
Knödel l Javier Caffarena. BA1 Ein Kloß oder Knödel ist eine aus Teig hergestellte Speise in kugeliger Form und man isst sie mit Soße oder Suppe. Er kommt aus Österreich und Süddeutschland.

l 200 g. Butter l 150 g. Speck
l 250 ml. Milch l 3 Löffel Mehl l 2 Eier
l 1 Bouquet Petersilie l Pfeffer und Salz

REZEPT: Zerschneiden Sie zuerst das Brot. Schälen Sie dann die Zwiebel und hacken Sie sie fein. Kurz die Zwiebel in etwas Butter anbraten und zu den Brotwürfeln geben. Schneiden Sie den Speck in kleine Würfel, schlagen Sie die Eier mit der Milch, schmelzen Sie die Butter und fügen Sie alles unter Rühren der Fleischbällchen hinzu. Die Petersilie fein hacken und mit Salz, Pfeffer und Mehl vermischen, gut durchmischen und 15 Minuten ruhen lassen. Zwei Fleischbällchen der gleichen Größe formen und in leicht kochendem Wasser kochen.

La fabada asturienne Ingrédients:
l 500 g de haricots blancs. l 2 saucisses.
Temps de préparation et de cuisson: 180 minutes.
l 250 g de bacon.
Préparation:
l 1 pincée de sel
1) Prenez una grande casserole avez les haricots à l’intérieur et ajoutez beaucoup d’eau.
l Beaucoup d’eau. l Safran.
Avant de cuisiner:
1) Choisissez le meilleur type de haricots blancs. Les Asturies ont une grande variété de haricots très savoureux. 2) Lavez-les et laissez-les tremper dans l’eau pendant douze heures.
2) Chauffez jusqu’à ébullition et après, ajoutez les saucisses et le bacon. 3) Enlevez la mousse et, après trente minutes, ajoutez deux brins de safran. 4) Baissez la température de cuisson et ajoutez du sel. 5) Faites cuire lentement pendant deux heures à feu lent.
6) Remuez les haricots avec une cuillère en bois et ajoutez de l’eau froide toutes les quarante-cinq minutes. 7) Après deux heures, retirezles du feu et laissez-les reposer pendant une heure pour que les haricots donnent tout leur goût. 8) Mettez la fabada dans un plat et bon appetit!
Mousse au CHOCOLAT Temps de préparation: 20 minutes
Préparation: Ingrédients: POUR 8 PERSONNES l 250 g de chocolat noir spécial dessert (Nestlé)
l Beurre, une grosse noix
l 8 œufs (6 jaunes d'œuf et 8 blanc d’œufs). l Le zeste d’une orange l 1 pincée de sel
Faites fondre lentement le chocolat dans un saladier au bain-marie. Pendant ce temps séparez les blancs des jaunes d’œufs. Quand le chocolat a presque fondu ajoutez la noix de beurre et mélangez bien. Quand le chocolat a complètement fondu, retirez le saladier du feu et versez les jaunes d’œufs en remuant vigoureusement avec une cuiller en bois pour ne pas laisser cuire les jaunes et pour obtenir un mélange crémeux.

Ajoutez une pincée de sel aux blancs d’œufs et battez-les en neige très ferme. Mélangez d’abord un peu de blanc en neige avec le chocolat fondu, de façon à le rendre plus mou. Incorporez ensuite au chocolat fondu en 2 ou 3 fois le reste des blancs. Mélangez avec la cuiller en bois délicatement pour ne pas faire retomber les blancs. Pour finir incorporez à la mousse le zeste de l’orange. Laissez reposer au réfrigérateur quelques heures avant de servir.

Boeuf Bourguignon Temps de la marinade: 12 à 24h
Ingrédients:
Préparation:
l 800 g de viande de boeuf coupée en dés d’environ 3cm (macreuse1, paleron2)
Mettre les dés de viande à mariner la veille avec les oignons coupés grossièrement, les carottes coupées en rondelles, le thym, le laurier, l’ail coupé en deux, les lardons, le sel et le poivre. Laisser mariner de 12h à 24 h.

Le lendemain, retirer les morceaux de viande de la marinade. Dans une cocotte, mettre une moitié de mesure d’huile pour une moitié de mesure de beurre. Y placer les dés de viande et faire revenir jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient bien caramélisés. Puis retirer les légumes ( carottes, oignons, ail) et les lardons de la marinade pour les faire revenir

Ingrédients:

Zubereitungsweise: l Mischen Sie das Weizenmehl, das Olivenöl, das halbe Ei, das Salz und das Wasser, dann kneten Sie den Teig mehrmals durch. l Decken Sie den Teig mit einem Tuch zu und lassen Sie ihn gehen. l Schneiden Sie die Äpfel und fügen Sie den Zitronensaft hinzu. l Zucker, Semmelbrösel, Zimt, Rosinen und Rum untermischen.
l 1 EL. Zitronensaft
l Rollen Sie den Teig aus und bestreichen Sie ihn mit dem Olivenöl.
l Verteilen Sie die Füllung auf den Teig und rollen Sie ihn ein. l Bestreichen Sie den Teig mit dem halben Ei. l Backen Sie den Apfelstrudel 30 Minuten auf 180º.
l Bestäuben Sie den Apfelstrudel mit Zuckerglass. l Den Apfelstrudel kann man heiß oder kalt essen.

Traditional Irish stew l Raquel del Río. C1
Ingredients: l 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. l 150g onion.
l 100g celery. l 1 apple.
l 5 carrots.
l 1 cup of white wine.
l 500 ml dark beef stock. l 2 bay leaves.
l Salt and pepper.
l 450g lamb cutlets (bone removed) cut into 5 cm chunks. l 1kg of potatoes.
How to do it: 1. Heat half the oil in a large frying pan and add the lamb pieces, previously seasoned with salt and pepper, and brown it all over by turning it in the hot oil. Remove the lamb with tongs and place it in a casserole. 2. Heat up the remaining oil in another frying pan. Add the onions, celery, and apple, all of them roughly chopped. Season them with salt and pepper. Once it is golden, pour in the cup of white wine and let it evaporate.
3. Add the already chopped carrots and potatoes (which have been peeled and cut into quarters) to the pan and stir it all together. 4. Place all the contents from this pan into a bigger casserole pot and add the lamb. Pour the beef stock into the casserole. Add the bay leaves as well.

Perdrix aux raisins l Florencio Sotos. IN1
Temps de préparation: 25 minutes.
Temps de cuisson: 1 heure et demie.
Préparation: 1.- Préparez les perdrix (plumezles, nettoyez-les,…). Salez-les à l’intérieur, tartinez-les avec du saindoux et du sel à l’extérieur et mettez-leur à l’intérieur une poignée de raisin.
Ingrédients
l 3 petites perdrix tendres2 l 45 g de saindoux.
l 3 cuillères à soupe d’huile. l 1 verre de vin blanc. l 1 verre d’eau.
l 400 g de raisins.
l 3 cuillères à soupe de cognac. l Du sel et du poivre. 1
Ce plat est très habituel pendant la période de chasse.

Selon les chasseurs les perdrix femelles sont plus tendres que les mâles.
2.- Prenez une cocotte et chauffez-y l’huile, quand l’huile est chaude, ajoutez-y les perdrix. Faites-les dorer sur toutes leurs faces, en les tournant soigneusement pour ne pas les abîmer. Une fois qu’elles sont dorées, aspergez-les avec du vin et saupoudrez-les avec du poivre. Avant de fermer la cocotte, ajoutez-y un verre d’eau et faire cuire à feu doux pendant une heure. N’oubliez pas de les retourner de temps en temps.Tandis que les perdrix sont en train de cuire, pelez le reste des grains de raisin.
3.- Dans une autre casserole, chauffez le cognac et flambez-le avec une allumette (soyez prudent avec le feu), essayez de bien le flamber. Ensuite, versez-le sur les perdrix et recouvrez la cocotte en laissant 5 minutes de plus à feu moyen. Vérifiez la cuisson en piquant une perdrix avec la pointe d’un couteau.
Et voilà! Le plat doit être servi avec les perdrix coupées en deux moitiés, les grains de raisin autour et les perdrix arrosées avec la sauce de la cocotte. S’il n’y avait pas suffisamment de sauce, ajoutez-lui 2 cuillères à soupe d’eau bien chaude et mélangez avant de servir.
Oeufs à la neige ou îles flottantes Crème anglaise: l 1l de lait
Ingrédients pour 8 personnes:
l 8 jaunes d'œuf
Crème anglaise :
l 2 sachet de sucre vanillé
Faites bouillir le litre de lait avec un soupçon de sel et le sucre vanillé. Mettez les jaunes d’œufs dans un saladier avec le sucre. Travaillez le tout avec une cuillère en bois jusqu’à ce que le mélange blanchisse un peu. Incorporez-y peu à peu le lait bouillant. Reversez dans la casserole et reportez-la sur le feu doux, sans cesser de remuer avec la cuillère en bois et en grattant bien le fond, jusqu’à ce que la crème prenne un peu de consistance et enrobe la cuillère. Retirez du feu avant l’ébullition sinon la crème tournerait. Laissez la crème refroidir.
l 200 g de sucre en poudre l 1 pincée de sel
Îles flottantes : l 8 blancs d’oeuf

Îles flottantes : Mettez une grande casserole d’eau à bouillir. Mettez une pincée de sel dans les blancs et battez-les en neige très ferme. Quand l’eau est sur le point de bouillir (quand elle frémit), déposez-y des boules de blancs en neige, à l’aide d’une cuillère à soupe, 4 ou 5 boules en plus en même temps. Laissez cuire quelques secondes seulement et retournez sans tarder avec la cuiller. Égouttez-les au bout de quelques instants, quand elles sont bien gonflées. Procédez de même pour cuire le reste des blancs. Quand la crème anglaise est complétement refroidie, déposez les blancs dessus et mettez au frigidaire environ une heure.
