Award of the Year
INTERIOR DESIGN
After collecting over 300 artifacts from auctions and estate sales, the Jules Verne aficionado called in FOR. design planning to bring to life his vision of a museum-themed restaurant set in the picturesque town of La Malbaie. The result is a beautifully captivating immersive experience, L’Île Mystérieuse, that entices tourists and local residents and sweeps the Award of the Year in Interior Design.
INSIDE THE BLUE HOUSE
The culinary gallery is anchored in the Blue House, a 20th-century building that has been given a new lease on life with a striking glass extension. While its original stone walls and fireplaces were meticulously preserved, the house’s doors, windows, and roof were fully renovated. This blend of old and new creates a striking backdrop for the restaurant and gallery’s artistic vision.
AN ARTSY MARVEL
The curtain-wall extension, a highlight of the project, is adorned with a custom-made fresco by artist Gregory Fages, who also served as the project’s architectural designer. The fresco, depicting Captain Nemo’s poignant demise from The Mysterious Island, was created through a sophisticated process involving digital tracings and watercolor effects on glass. The dramatic illumination of this artwork at night, along with maritime-themed features like the giant backlit map and porthole, adds a mesmerizing allure to the space’s facade.
A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME
Inside, visitors are transported to a 19th-century cigar lounge, filled with Jules Verne first editions, ship models, and art pieces reminiscent of a bygone era. The circular bar and staircase, with their bronze mesh and constellation-themed lighting, evoke the ambiance of a submarine exploring the deep. Design elements, such as perforated metal dividers and a grand bronze arch, contribute to a sense of historical grandeur and adventure.
A TRIBUTE TO A LEGACY
Beyond its architectural splendor, L’Île Mystérieuse stands as a testament to a collector’s passion and a tribute to his family. It honors not only Captain Nemo but also the client’s grandfather, father, and brothers, who served as captains on the St. Lawrence River. The museum encapsulates a deep personal connection, celebrating a rich maritime heritage alongside the imaginative world of Jules Verne.
JURY’S KUDO
"The interior design of this unique venue flawlessly captures its nautical theme, crafting a harmonious and inviting space that perfectly reflects the envisioned aesthetic."
A Heritage Reborn
Once the vibrant social epicenter of Montréal's francophone elite for over 135 years, Le Club St-Denis has undergone a refreshing facelift and transformed into a captivating coworking space for its members and their guests.
BACK IN TIME
Celebrating the private club’s rich legacy and housed in a Victorian-era building with a bold Art Deco expansion, the renovation project faced daunting challenges. Much of the interior was stripped bare, leaving behind sterile concrete alcoves adorned with steel fittings and stark white walls. As for the ballroom, it now blends modern workspaces with opulent social areas, enhancing the venue's charm with minimal disruption.
SOLUTIONS UNVEILED
Infused with a flair of drama, the renovated space sets visitors on an architectural journey that culminates in the grand ballroom. Ascending through a gallery-like hall of concrete and treated glass, tantalizing hints of vibrant ballroom hues greet the privileged members and guests. A bespoke reception desk doubles as a champagne bar, exuding luxury with marble, brass accents, and lacquered finishes.
AN ENCHANTED HIDEAWAY
Along the way, antique taxidermy birds, thematic conference rooms, and carefully curated artworks enrich the journey, culminating in the ballroom—an enchanted "Speak Easy" oasis behind a lush green portal. Inside, custom lounge sofas with playful fringe, an artist's mural, and intricate woodwork create an ambiance that captivates the eye and freezes time. At the heart of the ballroom, a Rosa Onyx bar with its layered countertop and stone-backed bar commands attention, embodying lavish elegance.
A CELEBRATION OF STYLE
A vibrant tapestry of patterned fabrics, colorful stones, rich textures, noble woods, and brass accents in daring combinations completes the maximalist vision, ensuring each corner tells a story of luxury and charm. Le Club St-Denis, a project designed by Humà Design + Architecture, is more than a space—it is nothing short of a celebration of history, innovation, and vibrant design.
JURY’S KUDO
"A color palette mastery and a refined harmony in the combination of materials. Aesthetics with spirit and soul!"
Simon Kim's COQODAQ, a new fried chicken concept in New York's Flatiron district, brings a fresh take on dining. This venture, an extension of Kim's Michelin-starred COTE Korean Steakhouse, offers a unique culinary experience centered around the American food staple that is fried chicken.
ARCHITECTURAL ELEGANCE
Rockwell Group crafted the restaurant into a modern cathedral for fried chicken, blending dark luxury with Art Nouveau elements. The design features hunter green leather, dark walnut wood, and glowing lacquered paneling, all highlighted by strategic lighting that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
A SOPHISTICATED ENTRANCE
Guests are greeted by a green soapstone handwashing station with bronze fixtures and surrounded by black-tinted mirrors. This elegant feature offers a moment of transition from the busy street, setting the tone for an immersive dining experience.
A VIBRANT DINING EXPERIENCE
The communal dining area includes custom furniture and high-tops, connecting seamlessly to outdoor seating through garage-style windows. Inside, the intimate dining room features luxurious elements such as custom Hollywood banquettes and illuminated "ghost" arches, adding drama and sophistication.
REFINED DETAILS ALL AROUND
The trendy dining experience is enhanced by forest green banquettes, custom wood tables with Lazy Susans, and a black soapstone bar. The luscious design details, including crackled plaster panels and backlit arches, create a captivating and unique atmosphere, making COQODAQ a standout destination for locals and tourists in the Big City.
JURY’S KUDO
"The backlit arches stand out as a particularly impressive feature that creates a visually striking ambiance that is both memorable and immersive."
By Studio Paolo Ferrari
paoloferrari.com
New England Wonder
Designed by Studio Paolo Ferrari, Toronto’s Daphne is an elevated and exceedingly creative take on the American bistro, fusing the nostalgia of New England prep with wonder and eccentricity.
MIXING ERAS
Poised at a natural tension of eras, the newly-opened bistro reimagines the quintessential American bistro, set across a series of character distinctive rooms. It embodies both the unexpected while bringing in the warmth and nostalgia of New England prep. At once intimate and grand, eccentric, and sculptural, convivial and experimental, the deeply imaginative space is reminiscent of a great residence that’s evolved over time, designed to create an experience of wonder and subtle awe.
WINE & FOOD
Guests are first greeted by an intimate arrival space, where a transparent full-height wine cabinet allows a glimpse at the dining rooms that beckon beyond, instilling intrigue at what’s to come. Innovative and surprising, the entirety of the kitchen is on display, evoking the abundant spirit of hospitality and the feel of being hosted in an elevated and welcoming home.
ART INSPIRED
A mirrored corridor with a wrap-around hand-painted landscape mural leads to the artistic bar and onto its gently curving walls, bringing in the quality of a lush conservatory. Here, the atmospheric back-lit, glass-topped bar is an artful focal point inspired by filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, while at the same time, the fluting on the bar’s exterior is a nod to Beaux-Arts American architect Henry Bacon.
PLAYFUL TIMELESSNESS
The interiors reference deeper inspiration from art, architecture, and cinema. At the heart of the project is a cinematic duality of an immersive, Kubrick-inspired experimentation, contrasted with the softness and conviviality of the beloved aesthetic of a Nancy Meyers film. Unexpectedly playful and thoroughly redefining, Ferrari’s take on the timeless sophistication of the American bistro inspires guests to experience at once the joy of discovery and the effortless comfort of home.
JURY’S KUDO
"Beautiful architectural gestures infused with vibrant colors create a visually striking and unique space."

Brilliance in Paradise
After nine years of collaboration with Mexico’s top design minds, Uribe Krayer and Estudio Esterlina, the Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo is a masterclass in blending luxury with nature.
NATURE MEETS NURTURE
Set in the Costalegre of Jalisco, this resort doesn’t just sit on the land; it becomes one with it, showcasing Mexico’s rich heritage while embracing modern comforts. From the moment you step onto the property, the design effortlessly integrates wood, stone, and sand-toned concrete, making the resort part of the landscape rather than just a luxury addition. It is the ultimate in "nature meets nurture," turning every corner into a natural wonder.
ART MEETS HOSPITALITY
The lobby makes an entrance with style, featuring sweeping views and a Wirrarika art piece called "rain of stars" that immediately sets a sophisticated and artistic tone. More than merely a place to check in; it is an introduction to a world where Mexican artistry and stunning vistas come together.
A CULTURAL TWIST
Each of the 157 rooms, scattered across the mountain, beach, and Majahua, flaunts private pools and interiors inspired by Mexico’s vibrant culture. From huipil textile headboards to Olinalá minibars and Chiapas cushions, these rooms are more than just accommodations—they are a showcase of Mexican culture at its best.
BLISS & TRANSFORMATION
The Spa is a sanctuary of rebirth and relaxation. Guests are greeted by a historic stone and a journey marked by water and fire, leading to a Temazcal ceremony. This is where traditional Mexican healing meets modern luxury, offering a transformative experience in a lush, open-air garden.
JURY’S KUDO
"Exquisitely and beautifully executed, the high-end resort showcases a high level of craftsmanship and celebrates all that is Mexican."
DESIGNED TO TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY
Set against a backdrop of pristine beaches and ancient mangroves, the resort’s interiors by Rockwell Group redefine luxury with its seamless blend of natural splendor and sleek sophistication. The design team went all out, turning the resort into a natural wonderland. The trio of buildings look like they’ve grown right out of a glowing cenote, complete with swooping rooftops and man-made pools that blend into the landscape.
LUXURY MEETS NATURE
Walking into the 45-foot triple-height lobby, guests are immediately wowed. Vertical shutters and cascading greenery create a sense of flow and intimacy, while reflection pools and ocean views set the scene for ultimate relaxation. And let’s not forget the marble bar, with its Mayan-inspired feature wall and glowing niches—it’s like sipping your cocktail in an art gallery. Period.
DINING IN PARADISE
The resort’s signature restaurant by Chef Francisco “Paco” Ruano is a chic beach shack, but with serious style. Whitewashed walls, reclaimed wood, and floor-to-ceiling glass make it feel like guests are dining right in the middle of the mangroves and ocean. Not to mention, the floating white sheers behind the banquettes add a touch of dreamy elegance.
ZEN & BEYOND
The spa is where luxury truly meets tranquility. Designed to mimic a cenote, it features a circular skylight and a water feature that create a serene, Zen-like atmosphere. With private treatment rooms, vitality pools, and a design that echoes the natural beauty of the mangroves, this is where you come to unwind in style.
JURY’S KUDO

In the bustling Putuo District, Shanghai, the city's first digital advertising park stands as a high-tech marvel seamlessly bridging the virtual and physical worlds. As a venue to host industry giants and up-and-coming talent, it is where digital data and tangible design set a new standard for the advertising industry.
A MATRIX MARVEL
Along the elevator hall, black aluminum panels etched with 0s and 1s create a digital mystique. The effect is like walking into a data server, with light filtering through the perforations for an otherworldly effect. Moving into the foyer, the space transforms from a sleek black cocoon into a dazzling white expanse, symbolizing data's journey from server to the open world.

The metamorphosis of the Montreal office tower’s lobby at 1001 Robert-Bourassa transformed it from a bland entryway into a dazzling multifunctional hub. The space champions community, wellness, and collaboration.
ELEVATING THE EXPERIENCE
The old lobby underwent a significant upgrade with a savvy design overhaul. By stripping away the mezzanine and reworking the entrance, Gensler opened up the space, giving it a breath of fresh air. The result? A lobby that moonlights as a 300-guest event venue, thanks to a sleek new layout and higher ceilings.
A NOD TO NOSTALGIA
To retain a hint of the 1983 office tower's character, the design team paid homage to its roots. Exposed steel columns were painted to showcase the building’s vintage structure, while the original pinwheel floor plan inspired a snazzy new ceiling and flooring pattern. Its retro flair thereby meets modern elegance.
MONTREAL’S MOUNTAINOUS MUSE
Inspired by the majestic Mount Royal, the lobby’s tiered seating is a sculptural tribute to Montréal’s topography. With bench seating that rises in plateaus and features power outlets, it becomes the perfect spot for a quick meeting or a casual catch-up.
MULTIMEDIA WONDERLAND
Teaming up with Moment Factory to add some high-tech magic, a massive 30 x 20-foot LED wall dazzles with atmospheric content, while bubble-clustered chandeliers and a textured foliage mural bathe the space in dynamic lighting effects. Subtle light projections and spatialized soundscapes create a sensory feast, evolving from day to night and season to season.

The choice of materials was pivotal in establishing a strong visual identity for the office. Noble materials like marble, wood, and glass come together to create a contemporary yet timeless look. Custom architectural integrations, such as the marble block with the client’s logo and the extensive use of greenery, reinforce the company's prestige and commitment to quality while blending seamlessly with the overall design.
LIGHTING IMPACT
The main conference room steals the show with smart glass technology and striking metal artwork. This innovative approach not only enhances user privacy but also adds a distinctive artistic element to the space. The careful consideration of lighting throughout the office ensures both functionality and aesthetic appeal, contributing to the project’s overall success.
JURY’S KUDO

Nestled within the vibrant Espace Montmorency district in Laval, the new Montoni offices stand as a beacon of modern workplace design.
FULLY CONNECTED
Developed in collaboration with the FTQ and Groupe Montez, and designed by Sid Lee Architecture and Groupe Montoni, these offices seamlessly integrate work enjoyment, quality of life, well-being, services, design, and sustainability. Connected directly to Montreal's metro via an underground tunnel, the bustling northern suburb hub offers a plethora of amenities and services.
FEELS LIKE HOME
Since the workplace should reflect a company's values and culture, Montoni's offices are conceived as a home away from home. Socialization spaces, work zones, and relaxation areas are strategically designed to foster collaboration and employee well-being. This philosophy aligns with the company’s broader vision for post-pandemic workspaces, creating a dynamic microcosm that caters to every team member's daily needs.
GOOD VIBES AND GREAT DESIGN
The interior design ingeniously blends industrial elements with urban aesthetics. Mirroring the city’s industrial heritage while fostering a modern and inviting atmosphere, raw materials such as concrete and aluminum, along with vibrant orange accents, characterize the interiors. The office’s custom-designed aluminum reception counter and augmented reality dome brilliantly showcase the developer's many projects, setting the tone of glamour and grandeur.
WORK
AND PLAY
Designed around various zones that encourage socialization, collaboration, relaxation, and learning, the headquarters hosts an array of cool rooms such as a training room, a gym, a multimedia room, workshop spaces, and more. A hip workplace environment, tailored for the modern era.
"Now here’s a headquarters that seriously takes employee well-being to the next level and sets the mood for a healthy work environment."

La Maison Lavande’s new production center, La Fabrique des Filles, marks a bold expansion for the beloved Québec brand known for its leadership in lavender agrotourism and perfumery.
A SERENE SPACE
The redesign by ISSASTUDIO centers on blending natural inspiration with modern aesthetics, creating a space that both honors the brand’s roots and embraces its forward-thinking sustainability. Its focal point is the atrium, which greets visitors with its grand cathedral ceiling and a central light well.
INSPIRED BY BIOPHILIA
This area is bathed in natural light, accentuating the expansive views of the surrounding agricultural fields. The atrium serves as a serene sanctuary, evoking a sense of elevation, tranquility, and introspection. Inspired by biophilia, the design emphasizes a connection to nature, offering both comfort and peace of mind through its thoughtfully curated aesthetic.

The space transforms with the sunset, creating a vibrant yet tranquil environment that delights the senses.

At the Heart of Encounters
The Great Hall of Collège Brébeuf is at the heart of encounters that shape the journey of college students.
MODERN & FLEXIBLE
The renovation project, orchestrated by MSDL Architects, blends modernization with functionality. The result is a welcoming environment organized around robust furniture and varied lighting. The spaces are designed to be adaptable and flexible, meeting the diverse and dynamic needs of college life.
IDENTITY AND HISTORY
As its centennial approaches, Collège Brébeuf has integrated key identity elements into the Great Hall. The coat of arms, the burgundy color, and the institution's logo are found in the architecture, reinforcing the sense of belonging and continuity with the school's history.
A SYMBOLIC ARCH
The arch, omnipresent in the logo and coat of arms, is highlighted here by its shape and color. It emphasizes the central aisle while respecting the functionality of the gathering areas. These areas vary in ambiance, from lively spaces to quieter corners, and are quickly embraced by the students.
A COHERENT WHOLE
The renovation creates a coherent and interconnected space where student life can fully express itself. The Great Hall thus becomes the ideal place where friendships, dreams, and aspirations come to life, offering a rich and memorable college experience.

A Journey Through Time
In the heart of the Saint-Malo industrial park in Québec, Arsenal & Co. transforms a former munitions factory into a complex where history and modernity intertwine over a drink.
4 X 4
Arsenal & Co. is divided into four distinct spaces: a tiered restaurant offering an unobstructed view of the stage, a boutique for tasting and discovering local products, a distillery that celebrates artisanal craftsmanship, and a 200-seat terrace with a splendid view of Québec. Each phase promises a unique and immersive experience.
RAW X REFINED
The aesthetics of the place skillfully blend raw materials such as steel, wood, and concrete with refined elements like copper and velvet. The imposing 9’6” chandeliers above the bar catch the eye upon entry, adding a touch of grandeur and sophistication to this space, rich in character.
INNOVATION X ACOUSTICS
With a ceiling height of 37 feet, Arsenal & Co. has met the acoustic challenge with creative solutions: acoustic panels, theatrical curtains, and special coatings transform the space into a venue as pleasing to the ear as it is to the eye, harmonizing industrial scale with optimal sound comfort.
A PROMISING FUTURE
The restaurant was the first to open its doors to the public while other phases of the project continued to take shape. Patriarche thus designed a thoughtful customer journey to optimize logistics and prepare for the integration of the other spaces, promising a complete immersion in the captivating universe of the distillery.
The Enchanted Forest
The Delta Lévis Convention Center has reimagined its restaurant to introduce Brouillard d'automne, a Québecois brasserie where warmth and elegance seamlessly blend.
COLORS & MATERIALS
Modern and welcoming, the design put forward by SGD A invites each visitor to feel at home, within a cozy atmosphere that reflects the simplicity and conviviality of Québec. The space charms with a palette of browns, ochres, and earthy tones, along with a mix of copper, leather, and concrete. Perforated partitions and suspended elements add a touch of lightness while creating a rich and warm ambiance.
SPECTACULAR LIGHTING
The central bar is the heart of this brasserie, highlighted by ceramic flooring with a concentric pattern and an impressive luminous sculpture on the ceiling. This spectacular lighting creates a visual anchor and an ideal gathering place for after-work drinks, bringing liveliness during the day and a warm ambiance in the evening.
AUTUMNAL AMBIANCE
The dining room, adorned with various materials and an autumnal palette, is illuminated by trendy cane webbing on the ceiling. This combination offers a unique design that blends comfort and modernity.
RHYTHM & VELVET
At the back, you’ll find a raw bar, a second bar, and a lounge area whose design is accented by voluminous turned wood columns, oversized lighting fixtures, and an ethereal figure spreading its protective and enveloping wings overhead.

The Stylish Purifier
Bloom is a sleek air purifier: a white cylinder with a gently tapered lower half, covered with a colored textile sheath. It is at this point that its filtration and ventilation system is hidden, intercepting 99.7% of airborne pollutants and undesirable odors.
HIDING ITS GENIUS
Rather than imposing its technology in the home environment, Bloom, a design by Enta Design and manufactured in Spain, presents itself in the innocent and discreet form of an elegant planter. And that's not all, the ingenious air purifier also transforms into a practical and eco-friendly side table.
BLENDING WITH THE DECOR
Designed in Spain from polypropylene, it combines technological ingenuity with refined aesthetics. Its discreet design preserves plants thanks to an intelligent arrangement of the electronics and a tapered shape that prevents any water infiltration. A washable fabric pre-filter, available in twelve colors, personalizes this innovative air purifier.
EASY AS CAN BE!
Easy to use, Bloom offers intuitive control via a simple touch button, offering various modes. A light around the button indicates the air quality, which can be turned off for more discretion. To change the filter, a red light alert reminds you when it’s time.
TAKING ROOT
Much more than just an aesthetically lacking air purifier, Bloom becomes a functional and design object, perfectly integrated into any modern interior. The plant pot is easily removed thanks to internal handles, allowing direct access to the washable pre-filter. A practical hatch then reveals the replaceable filter, designed to minimize waste by only changing its membrane. It’s simply perfect as a concept! Bravo!
JURY’S KUDO
“What an original way to dissimulate a stand alone air purifier by adding on a brilliant double usage purpose! Minimalist and elegant!”
The Cuicui domestic and modular cooking dish embodies the future of cooking: a flexible and versatile terracotta dish designed for simple and sustainable cooking.
BACK TO BASICS
Handcrafted in the Rudimenterre workshop in Montreal, each piece uses locally sourced, low-temperature clay to minimize the ecological footprint of its production. This artisanal approach ensures not only exceptional quality but also a significant reduction in energy and water consumption during manufacturing.
THE ESSENCE OF ART
An invitation to rediscover the art of conscious and creative cooking, the dish features three cooking techniques adapted to our environment and well-being: steaming, bain-marie, and baking without preheating.
FLEXIBLE AND EFFICIENT
Each element is designed to be modular, offering optimal flexibility. Whether steaming, gently simmering in a bain-marie, or creating desserts in the oven, its components can be used individually or combined to maximize the efficiency and flavor of the dishes prepared.
SMART DESIGN
Cuicui offers consumers a choice in favor of sustainability, quality, and authenticity. Its clever design and the sensitivity of its thermodynamic material significantly reduce the environmental footprint of its users in the kitchen. In a post-growth economic context, Cuicui’s appropriate and thoughtful design questions the legitimacy of high-tech solutions for household purposes. By reappropriating low-tech techniques, Cuicui helps to rediscover a space for sharing, emotions, and creativity, repositioning the user at the heart of the kitchen to give meaning and taste back to our food.
JURY’S KUDO
”Genius! The terracotta dish is the new must-have for any culinary aficionado! Its simple and organic lines perfectly embody a sustainable lifestyle.”

KITCHEN HIDEAWAY
Customizable to match one’s cabinet, it is also offered in a contemporary finish of stainless steel front panels and handles. Its sleek control panel interface is easy to comprehend while minimalist in style.

The Ultimate Wine Cabine
In the realm of industrial design, the latest innovation in wine storage seamlessly blends functionality with elegance. This cutting-edge wine cabinet refrigerator introduces a versatile design that integrates effortlessly with various cabinet forms, adapting to diverse home styles while delivering a touch of refined furniture aesthetics.
OPTIMIZED SPACE USAGE
One of the standout features of the Overly BMF Ice Maker/Wine versions combination by GRF Domestic Home Appliances Srl, designed by Giancarlo Vegni, is its innovative air circulation system. Featuring a front air in-and-out and bottom heat dissipation design, the refrigerator minimizes the need for extensive heat dissipation space. Unlike traditional refrigerators that require more space for air circulation, this model utilizes the base area effectively, maximizing overall space utilization and providing a more compact and efficient design.
ENHANCED QUALITY
The refrigerator is equipped with a built-in flavor module CLIMATE WAIL which maintains a balanced room temperature, ensuring clean flavors and freshness. The Color Touch control panel adds a modern touch, while features like an automatic ice-making space, an adjustable metal bottle frame, and laminate enhance the product's functionality and quality. These advanced features not only improve the user experience but also contribute to the overall sophistication of the wine cabinet.
SMART SOLUTIONS
Designed with user convenience in mind, the wine cabinet includes a middle-level flexible storage shelf specifically for shaped wine bottles, a white oak shockproof wine rack, and a wine glass rack. These thoughtful design elements ensure that users have an organized and accessible storage solution for their wine collection, providing a more personalized and intuitive experience.
CLIMATE CONTROL
The double-layer glass door is another key feature, incorporating Low-e heat insulation and UV protection. This design allows for adjustable humidity levels ranging from 45% to 80% and a wide temperature zone of 5°C to 20°C. The climate control features ensure that the wine is stored under optimal conditions, enhancing its quality and longevity.
JURY’S KUDO
"This wine cabinet’s advanced features cater to both aesthetic preferences and practical needs, making it an essential addition to any modern home."
A COLLECTIVE OASIS
A collective oasis of relaxation and social interaction is thus created away from the bustling effervescence of this festive and lively district. In winter, when the temperature is below zero, the Esplanade Tranquille transforms into an ice rink. In summer, it becomes a venue for celebrations and fills with festival-goers. The Nets perfectly adapt to this dynamic by allowing flexible and frequent movements, configurable as solo seats or in clusters.
MAXIMAL COMFORT
Embodying extraordinary urban furniture, blending softness and robustness to offer comfort and durability, their net structure is designed to perfectly conform to the shape of the body, ensuring optimal ergonomic support.
AN INNOVATION IN ITSELF
Innovative in their manufacturing technique, the Nets are made with braided polyester ropes on a galvanized steel cable, chosen for their resistance and durability. The mechanical assembly with aluminum ferrules guarantees both strength and comfort while minimizing environmental impact through efficient use of materials.
A DISTINCTIVE IDENTITY
Self-supporting, these modules create convivial circular spaces that encourage social interactions and add a striking architectural touch to the visual identity of the public space. The braided structure also addresses environmental concerns and focuses on material economy. Visually and physically light, the Nets are resource-efficient yet make a grand gesture, proportional to the scale of this highly frequented public square.
Imagined by Dikini + Alto Design, the Nets are large lounge seats installed on the Esplanade Tranquille in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles in Montreal. This project is the result of a playful design competition organized by the city.

The marvelous collaboration between Rubinetterie Treemme and Q-BIC brings us WATT, the latest collection of bathroom water control panels inspired by vintage electric panels and transistor radios.
THE MASTERMIND
Marco Baldini is the mastermind behind these extraordinary models that blend light and water, bringing a modern touch to a vintage concept. Generously borrowing from the lexical realm of electricity, these water control knobs are reminiscent of the electric panels once seen in classic radios and old television sets.
THE PAST

COMMUNICATION & BRANDING
Known for its "People First" philosophy and having significantly grown over the decade, Ally Financial had to move and revamp its offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, which had become too cramped. The company is now settling into a new building from a local project of 26 stories, fueled by the ambition to tell Ally's story through its spaces.
TRAVEL THROUGH TIME
The GHD Partners team earned the Award of the Year for the design of the environment and brand universe of this revamped branch to honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future.
ANCHOR THE PRESENT
Here and there, graphic interventions create links between the various floors and encourage spontaneous interactions among employees. Using Ally's brand lexicon, the themes of repetition, texture, and pattern contrast with the traditional environment of the financial firm. The space thus projects into a future where Ally will continue to evolve, inspire, and drive progress.
RECALL THE PAST
The original and textured intervention tells the story of innovation from the outset and recalls Ally's role as a change ally. The "Disruption in Practice" exhibition thus reinforces this role as an innovator, being the first online bank without physical branches. The "a" of Ally, at the center of the installation, is placed next to a selection of pioneers such as the carbon filament bulb and the IBM computer.
INSPIRE THE FUTURE
With its diversified use of pop colors, wood accents, reflective surfaces, and green walls, the design team has created a space that deviates from the traditional cold and impersonal ambiance, creating a place where it feels good to work. Well done!
JURY’S KUDO
“A meticulous attention to storytelling is felt throughout. The thread of humor running through it creates a refreshing and unexpected dimension in the banking context.”

Communication & Branding Project Lladró, The Porcelain Revolution Spain
By Lladró & Odosdesign Spain lladro.com odosdesign.com
Textures and Reading
This sublime art book compiles the most experimental creations of Lladró, the Valencian brand known for producing porcelain pieces since 1953.
THE REVOLUTION OF PORCELAIN
Designed by the Lladró artistic team in collaboration with the Ododesign studio based in Valencia, it traces seven decades of evolution, even revolution, in the art of creation from this noble material. From one page to the next, the reader discovers varied creations and immerses themselves in the history of the brand and the objects created.
THE READER-CREATOR
Here, each page contains a playful element in itself. Sometimes it's the typography that grabs attention and accentuates interaction. Other times, it’s more participatory features that encourage the reader to become their own creator within the brand's universe. This is the case with textures and transparency games that awaken the senses, or the tattoos and sticker masks that one is invited to make for oneself or to decorate one’s home.
THE BEFORE AND AFTER
Notably included is The Fantasy collection by Hayon, which marked a before and after for the brand renowned for its craftsmanship. To quote Jaime Hayon, "I wanted to be part of the company's evolution process. For several generations, its artisans have perfectly mastered the techniques of porcelain art. My job was to add a contemporary touch."
THE NEW CONCEPT EXPERIENCE
A very special place in the catalog is reserved for contemporary collections like the iconic The Guest. The initial piece created by Jaime Hayon reflects the creator's fantastic universe, while its various interpretations by artists of the stature of Kzeng Jiang, Paul Smith, Gary Baseman, Henn Kim, Rolito, Devilrobots, Ricardo Cavolo, Tim Biskup, and Supakitch, and the color versions create a dazzling effect in any space.
JURY’S KUDO

Pop & Stop
Colorful as can be, the message is clear. In the municipality of Chelsea, driving speed is kept below the 40 km/h threshold.
SURPRISE TO RAISE AWARENESS
This series of posters created to raise awareness among motorists about the reinforced speed limits in the municipality of Chelsea, Quebec, surprises and stands out from traditional communications related to the dangers of speeding.
DESIGNED TO CAPTURE ATTENTION
The campaign conceived by Pixel is the result of in-depth technical reflection combined with a new and refreshing aesthetic vision. This means that the typographic choices stem from behavioral studies on visual perception in motion and that the color palette was tested for its emotional impact and visibility in all lighting conditions, good weather or bad.
ENTERTAIN TO ENGAGE
While ensuring the clarity of the message, which is to maintain a cruising speed below the 40 km/h threshold, the integrated communication strategy endures in public space, engages citizens, and creates a measurable impact on driving behaviors.
EXCEED LIMITS TO RESPECT LIMITS
Overall, the campaign far exceeded the objectives set by the municipality of Chelsea, demonstrating the effectiveness of the agency's approach. Tangible results were observed and measured, which, although outside the standard evaluation criteria, prove the scope and depth of the campaign's impact.
JURY’S KUDO
“How refreshing to see a speed limit campaign that steers away from the usual feel and mood of public announcement tools of the sort.“
The signage created for the expansion of this elementary school has an eco-fun character that revolves around the mammalmascot and the noble and durable material that is natural wood.
FEEDING WONDER
The intention of TLA Architects was to explore the deep connection of the child with this emblematic material of biophilic architecture. The hallways and walls of this final cradle of childhood invite the child to freely indulge in play and wonder at the simple beauty of everyday life. Here, imagination brings an entire world to life. A world where discovery and pleasure shape reality.
BENEVOLENT NATURE
It is in this approach that the child and nature meet. Wood is the vector of this tangible connection focused on pleasure. Strong visual cues thus allow easy orientation and identification of the various areas of the school. At the center of everything, young and old are amazed by the presence of the animal, known to evoke strength and wisdom. It plays the role of guardian of the learning mill that is the school.
GUARDIAN OF THE PLACE
The sculpture on which students can climb or stroke in passing stimulates a tactile connection encouraged by its materiality and its composition, made up of more than 140 smooth-surfaced, organically contoured Russian plywood panels. One can imagine the bear roaming the hallways at night and resuming its role as a benevolent guardian when students repopulate its forest.
THE BEAR AND ITS DEN
The main areas are identified as landmarks for the animal. The Den is thus a multipurpose room on the lower level, the Hive, a collaborative zone, and the Canopy, a relaxation area in the library located upstairs. Made of wooden slats paired with discs forming an assembly indicating directions, the signage wonderfully supports the magical and natural language of the whole.

Based in Montreal, LG2 Architecture specializes in the design of memorable brand environments. Its strength lies in a multidisciplinary vision of spatial design and a close-knit collaboration with LG2’s integrated teams.
Every project goes beyond aesthetic and practical aspects to create a seamless experience.
LG2 Architecture’s projects are deeply rooted in the DNA of the brands it partners with.
In 2022, two young entrepreneurs with a vision of expansion acquired the Quebec poutine institution Ashton. To fully embrace this new beginning, the design concept was completely overhauled, seamlessly blending modern touches with traditional elements rooted in the brand’s history. The transformation can be seen from the outer shell to the interior details. All the hallmarks of classic diners were revisited with a modern twist: the curved edges throughout, the triple red line marking out the customer path and wrapping around the furniture, the neon lighting and the red tin roof are all reminiscent of Ashton’s original 1969 food truck.
