RED RIBBON LIGHT was an effort by AIESEC Chandigarh to break barriers and
talk about HIV/AIDS in public in front of the masses. It was a platform to interact with the citizens of the tricity. It would lead to open the minds of the people so that they break the stereotype views and think from different angles. The event focused on raising awareness through a human-chain formation, on-the-spot HIV/AIDS test and candle light. The Main Objective of the event was to involve citizens to join us in the endeavor to raise voice against the stigma and discrimination that follows HIV/AIDS to stimulate creativity and innovation, succession planning for initiative on HIV/AIDS and all of this having Fun! The event started at 4.30 with formation of a human chain at the Lake for an hour.
