ABOUT MALAYSIA
Experience multiculturalism first-hand in Malaysia. Despite Islam being the main religion in this country, you can still experience Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Sikhism and even Shamanism due to the population consisting of Malay, Chinese, Indian and other indigenous people - truly Asia, indeed!
MALAY CUISINE
Ranging from Malaysian, Chinese, Indian cuisines, there are also unique Eurasian dishes depending on where are! Each region has its own speciality to offer so don’t miss out on the famous nasi lemak, satay, rendang or regional speciality such as Nyonya (Peranakan) cuisine. Don’t forget to visit Penang, the food capital of Malaysia while you’re there!
CULTURAL IDENTITY
Influences from Malay, Chinese, Indian and other ethnic groups in Malaysia is what define the culture of Malaysia so do expect to have an eye-opening experience of cultural overload when you are in Malaysia.
