A little bit about myself. I’m a graphic designer living in the gold coast. Designing brand identities and packaging is what I enjoy doing most, followed by motion graphics which I’m growing quite fond of. I love to express ideas through clean graphic design and approachable illustrated elements. I like to find ways to challenge myself and I try my hardest to create things I can be proud of. /01 AUGUSTINE MEDICAL PRACTICE C orporate Brand i ng Augustine is a branding concept for a university assessment piece. The brief was to apply the values and attitudes of our chosen historical designer to a new design outcome. Looking back at the works of Josef Muller-Brockmann, he was heavily involved in advertising, with posters as his main creative outlet. I decided to design a visual brand identity for a medical practice in which Muller’s principles and approach would be a key asset.

Cafe Baraco is a brand and packaging concept for a university assessment. The brief was to develop an outcome that demonstrates the power of colour in branding and marketing. The focus of the brand is to evoke the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines as reflected by the bold and vibrant selection of colours.

Type is the Bee’s Knees is an entry level book designed to help you ease your way into the world of typography. It introduces the bare bone basics of typography along with some nifty tips and techniques to using type properly. The headings are set using Staples, a serif typeface which I modified.

This is a personal illustration piece inspired by a scene from Wes Anderson’s film, Moonrise Kingdom. This was created in my attempt to explore other illustration styles and colouring techniques.

Ninio is a brand that aims to add a touch of playfulness to an ordinary workspace setting. By combining humble design and functionality, Ninio re-imagines ordinary office items into friendly creatures that live on your desk. It draws inspiration from the simple beauty of everyday objects and childlike fondness to bring people a sense of comfort during a mundane or stressful day at work. Ninio products aim to add fun and delight to your workspace and inspire creativity through its whimsical charm.

This is a series of animal illustrations that was created as part of the Ninio brand. Each one is designed to go with their corresponding desk animal counterpart — can be printed on notebooks and other stationery items.

Witches Brew is a tea packaging concept for a university assessment piece. Having an interest in the occult and dark themes, I decided to go with witchcraft as a central theme for my product. The brand was designed to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity. The aim is to pique the customer’s interest and urge them to step outside their comfort zones to try something different.

/08 SUPERFUNK JUICE BAR Brand i ng / I llustrat io n

A great amount of perfectly edible fruits and vegetables are needlessly thrown away because of their cosmetic imperfections. Superfunk is a brand concept that addresses the issue of food waste. Its aim is to change the common perception of ugly produce by demonstrating that they taste just as good as anything you’d find at the supermarkets.
