MS. HARADA We love you, Ms. Harada! Our lovely club advisor Ms. Harada has been nothing but caring, loving, and super-spirited over the many years she has been serving and advising Benjamin Franklin’s Key Club. Although she is retiring this year, she has promised to visit the club every Wednesday for our weekly club meetings. Ms. Harada is the kindest and most caring club advisor, let alone teacher, that Key Club has ever witnessed, and many of our members agree! We love you, Ms. Harada!

Ms. Harada, you can always make my day. If I feel bad, you know how to make me smile. I won't see you everyday, but I'll always look forward to every Wednesday!

APPRECIATION It has been an honor to be your student for two years. As your student I think that you do an absolutely phenomenal job at teaching and also just being there for your students. I love how you are so energetic and happy all the time your smile can brighten a room and your personality is what puts the icing on the cake. Overall you are a great person, teacher, friend, and key club advisor. I couldn't ask for a better teacher than you because you're original and that's what makes you so cool, you're so down to earth and friendly and honestly it's gonna be extremely sad to see you go but knowing that you'll be back every Wednesday puts a smile on my face because you are the heart and soul of key club. Lastly I would like to say thank you for everything that you have done for Franklin and for key club you will be missed and will forever be a franklin panther, once a panther always a panther. Farewell ms harada may you have good fortune and also live long and prosper.!

Amazing! Wonderful! Caring! These words describe Ms.Harada but you must use much more to completely describe her. That would be like a ten page essay so he is the short version. Ms.Harada is a friend, a family member, and a inspiring role model. I would like to thank her not only for being an amazing advisor helping our club reach new goals but also for just being there for ever member personally. She is volunteering almost every weekend and she helps us remember that "Caring~ is our way of life". She will be missed at Franklin High School but we are still lucky that she is so dedicated to come to the club's weekly meetings on Wed. We love you Ms.Harada!!

Ms. Harada is not only our Key Club advisor, not only a teacher at our school, but she is also such an amazing and special person to not only me but also to everyone that she has affected. It is really unfortunate that you will be retiring this year but you deserve it after all the astonishing work that you put in as a teacher and as our Key Club advisor. We will all miss you so much but at least we will see you every week at our Key Club meetings Thank you for all you have done Ms. Harada. You have personally touched and changed my life and you have that taught me countless life lessons that I will remember forever. Thank you for everything!

Ms. Harada is one of those rare people that you find that is able to bless anyones life who has the chance to meet her. She gives so much of herself to help out others and is very wise. I do not think there is anyone on this planet who can replicate the one and only Ms. Harada.

!

- Mark Fernandez

It's sad to see you going to be gone but at least you're still going to come to the meetings to show support for key club . Ms. Harada you're truly the best with all your support and spirit.!

Articles Arigato Bazaar “The Arigato Bazaar was a very interesting event to participate in. It was very nice seeing all the people and volunteers being in a very happy mood, whether they were working or not. Even though it was just me and Jeffrey who went with Ms. Harada, it was still very fun and exciting seeing all the festivities. Jeffrey and I were working in the food booths, preparing trays of teriyaki for customers to buy. It was a tough job, but it was worth it seeing all the people’s smiling faces. The other volunteers were very kind toward us, and there was always a job to do there. Overall, this event was something I’m glad I experienced.”!

Articles Matriculation Day “The Freshman Fair was a great opportunity to bring in new members and spread the word about our wonderful club. At first the fair was pretty easy because we were setting up and getting ready while the incoming freshmen had orientation. It was Jeffrey, Aja and me and some help from a member James. We were all set and ready with our flyers and handouts and also our goodies to hand out. Then they came! It was a pretty small group because they were divided up and taken on tours. Then the fun part began! The parents and future students started coming up and asking questions. While two of us talked about the club to the students. The other two talked to the parents and to be honest we were doing a really good job. We were able to get a good 15 freshmen to want to join the club. However we ran out of flyers and spread the word to over 60 some students and parents. It was a good and successful day for our club. It was a really good experience and a good way to help you grow as a Key Clubber!!

Member of the Month Dustin Tran For the month of May, the member of the Month is Dustin Tran. He is currently a junior, and is a Key Club veteran. Dustin has been known for being well active in this club and despite all the hours he has put into academics, he loves doing service. This month he attended the event of Memorial Day Breakfast. During the breakfast, our members helped serve the neighboring community in celebration for those who are fighting for our country. Although it was early in the morning, and was a on a weekend, he managed to wake up and go help serve others. He didn’t have to wake up that early but it was his choice and a want. A want to serve. Dustin has always excelled at things he likes to do, just like volunteering. He loves to do good in his community. Dustin is a determined member who pushes himself to make sure he is able to do the most for others.

Officer of the Month Jeffrey Fernandez For the month of May, the Thunderpup of the month is our president Jeffrey Fernandez! Jeffrey is currently a sophomore and is always on top of things. He makes sure that everyone does their job in the board and takes action when needed to. In the month of May, he has shown qualities of a great leader. During our Cinco de Mayo celebration at school, he let out a positive attitude that everyone else loved. Jeffrey has also attended the Memorial Day Breakfast, and showed his love for the community. His commitment to the club was shown at this event because he woke up early in the morning to prepare food. On Matriculation Day, which was a fair for new incoming students, he informed eighth graders about what Key Club does. A good amount has signed up to be part of our club next year. He has contributed great ideas for our future events and meetings so people can be more interested in joining. Great things are in store for the future of this club with Jeffrey leading us on.
