GOOD THOUGHTS, GOOD WORDS, GOOD DEEDS Week after week I am being asked the same question: what makes the AJOURE´ magazine so special? What is it, that makes you different to others? And day-by-day I get to find more and more reasons what it actually is! We certainly put our focus on brand new styles and trends that seem to become more and more popular and try to place them into our magazine as an advertiser. BUT what’s most important to us is to create something that catches our readers for a moment and distracts them from all the disturbing and bad news we get confronted with every time we get surrounded by any kind of media. It’s simply about being a positive magazine that carries you off to a little short journey and wants you to relax — that’s probably it! We are positive and we are going to stay positive, because we simply believe in “positive mind, positive vibes, positive life”! But lets stick to this new released issue: and again, it’s still about values! It’s about the things in life that put on a big smile to your face. Especially now, that the sun is shining again and you finally can gather all your friends and family again to enjoy a nice barbecue party. Sure we are men and love to show off our skills — no matter when and where — but it’s about reminding ourselves that there is more to life than negativity. Sometimes we simply need to take a big bite of a burger and share this enjoyable moment with our beloved ones. Valuing something or someone doesn’t have anything to do with success and money. That’s pretty much what the talented actor on our cover, Joe Naufahu, told us. When we asked him what his biggest fear in life is, he answered “losing someone close would absolutely rip me to shreds” and his answer to what his most emotional moment in life was “my kids brought so much joy and purpose into my life!”. Such statements constantly proof how important it is to enjoy life to the fullest and stay away from things that simply don’t feel comforting, when most needed. Each month we purposely put our focus on tips how to get an easier life or how to even spice up life a bit more again. Because at the end of the day all that counts is to go asleep happy! Because we need to realize that we are only able to make someone else happy as long as we are happy ourselves. Precisely because of the simple fact, that it’s a part of our job, we get to know so much about people and life itself, how times change and how tough everything can get… But that’s the point! We know how hard things can get and love to find solutions, even if it’s only for putting a simple smile on your face. So along these lines, take it easy! Don’t forget to enjoy life! We bet it was quite hard for you to be forced to quit playing rugby, due to your knee injury – do you miss it a lot or do you believe everything happens for a reason? My path was chosen long before I even stepped on a rugby field and I am definitely, where I am supposed to be doing exactly what I was meant to be doing. What made you decide to become an actor? I am passionate about acting, but I am much more than an actor. I didn‘t wake up one morning and said, I‘m going to be an actor. I didn‘t discover acting, it discovered me. I act, when I get the opportunity and when I don‘t I am a father, a friend, a son, and a brother. On the set of “The Last Saint” you’ve been working with your brother Rene Naufahu – how would you describe that experience? It was exhilarating. I felt so very free during that experience. I had to explore some very dark places during that shoot. I felt very safe throughout it all... I don‘t think anyone else did, though, when my character was around! The roles you’ve played so far mostly were pretty tough – do you prefer playing the “bad boy” or do you have a specific character, you rather would like to play? I will take any character on. I believe that’s where the magic lies. In whose eyes is a hero a hero? Or a villain a villain? When I play a character, I have the opportunity to influence the viewer’s perception of right or wrong.
They cannot be compared. There are good things about being an actor and there are bad things. The same goes with rugby. Longevity is probably the biggest difference. “Magic and music are very closely related.” Garrett Borns alias BØRNS is telling us what music actually means to him and starts to fascinate us with his kind of work. As far as we know, you have always been very creative and liked doing magical things such as being a magician, is that the reason why you decided to do music? Magic and music are very closely related. They both deal with producing something out of nothing and generating an emotional response in an audience. I very much just enjoy performing. What do you think is the key to be able to create that kind of music that touches hearts but makes you happy at the same time? When I‘m recording I‘m only trying to create music that I enjoy, and hoping it will give listeners a similar feeling. Why did you choose to do Indie-Pop music? You were in Germany a few weeks ago, what did you like the most about Germany? I performed on HalliGalli and it was an absolute pleasure! Do you have an idol, if so who is it and why? Yes, I look up to many musicians and artists with great work ethic. Just look at how many pieces Matisse painted or how many shows the Beatles played. You have to put in the time. We want to get to know the real Garrett Borns, that’s why we want to know your biggest fears in life? My biggest fear is not getting all my ideas out before I turn back into dust.
What do you do when you are heartbroken? Find something else to fall in love with. Do you actually care about fashion and your looks? Do you have a stylist or do you think that’s totally overrated?
What was the happiest moment you had in your life and why?
I grew up collecting amusing clothes and dressed up in different characters. I continue to use fashion to fuel my performance on stage. I have a few stylist friends that are brilliantly creative.

„...though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...“ – Wait! Walking? Why walking? What were they thinking, when they designed this monstrosity? Most likely not about a hiking trail, let alone the Way of St. James. So if they were, then definitely not by foot, but by car. Granted, the BRABUS B63S had its great premiere in 2013 at the IAA, but who cares at that sight?! The ultimateness of the B63S – 700 6x6 can probably not be surpassed. It is a colossus, which would even make the Greek go green with envy. A high-end road roller on six wheels with only one goal: straight forward – no matter what is in the way, no matter where on earth and no matter how impossible it seemed in the past. The B63S will smirk at impassable terrain, take a deep breath and switch its lever from “peace” to “get out the way”. The G 63 AMG 6x6 was skillfully put into the limelight in the blockbuster “Beyond the Reach” starring Michael Douglas, who speeds the AMG through the prairies of the USA. A nice detail is the Stuttgart license plate on the vehicle throughout the whole movie.

The BRABUS B63S is way too rarely – “rarely” being an exaggeration – seen on the streets in our part of the world. Never - to be exact! Where would you even move this produced in smallseries myth over here? On one of our one-way streets, turning bays, roundabouts or even in parking garages? Very unlikely! If you get the chance to sit in a B63S, you have reached the final destination of possibilities in terms of “insanity”. The B63S is just the right car for us – AJOURE´. Let’s reminisce on the BRABUS B63S 6x6 and enjoy the incredible specs, before we close our eyes and hope that cars in this category will never extinct.

Everybody in Germany wants to call a GT 350 their own and as if this car wasn’t exotic enough already, the Shelby GT 350 will have a 35 millimeter wider track than the serial model. it‘s price will also be a lot wider, the Mustang Shelby GT 350 will start at 82.900 Euro. With that known, the GT 350 will be twice the price than the comparable Ford Mustang, which is listed at „ridiculously“ 43.00 Euro. But as we all know whoever pays more, will get more! A revised six-speed manual gearbox reigns majestically over the 5.2-liter V8 Mustang, with then 533 horsepower and 582 Newton meters. The Mustang Shelby GT 350 will pull a rotational speed up to 8.250 out of his hat, and speaking of „pulling something out of your hat“, you should not be afraid of pulling out that credit card of yours at the gas station! Because once the Shelby GT 350 is off the leash, it will just like that need 14 liters or more to be taken around town! Lumberjack shirt and retro glasses are absolutely last season and don’t promise inconclusively the wished-for success. Therefore an upgrade is desperately necessary and it’s called: Yucci! Once there was the yuppie – young, rich, hedonistic, a textbook example of a more unpleasant careerist. Leonardo DiCaprio in “The Wolf of Wallstreet” or Christian Bale in “American Psycho” are the slick prototypes of a yuppie. Many years later, after the stock market crash, he was replaced by the hipster, which showed up with the obligatory facial hair, check shirt and the nerd glasses. From the inside the member of the urban middle class was totally against the mainstream so that himself became one quickly. But now, also the hipster is history … Rise the curtain for the Yucci! The “Young Urban Creative” represents an exciting new hybrid of the past generations. We explain how to recognize the Yucci, what he really wants and how he distinguishes from another phenomenon of the urban subculture. 1. The Yucci lives, as the name already reveals, in the city. The inventor of the new phenomenon, the online journalist David Infante, took the prototype out of the subculture of the hyped quarters in Brooklyn and San Francisco, where the rents for an average loft are so high that they are almost not payable.
