TAKE A CLOSER LOOK: LIFE IS GORGEOUS! This month’s issue is the second one, since we brought AJOURE´ international into life! And it’s absolutely fascinating how time flies! It’s a bit like the feeling you get, when you watch your baby grow and it starts to do its first steps into life! Overwhelming and very inspiring, that’s how it’s like! But honestly, why do we ever stop doing first steps on something? How come people get stuck into their daily routines and forget how to get passionate about new things? I guess it’s because people like to believe, new things are going along with too much effort and time. And that’s exactly the reason why I believe it’s important to prove them wrong. It’s the little things that make big differences and there are certain things that need maintenance, especially being a woman. So we shouldn’t let daily routines affect the way we dress or look or even feel. There is a bunch of ways to spice up life again. There are lots of ways to freshen up your outfits, by simply trying out something new or even better, bringing an old piece back to life! You had a pretty rough day or even a harder week? You feel like you need to break out for a minute? Well, go for it! Find new inspiration and new energy by trying out new sports like TôSô X, it’s the easiest way to combine martial arts and workouts and what’s even better, is the simple fact that you feel stronger and alive again! You wonder why? Again, because you tried something new! What’s also a very common topic, is women complaining so much about themselves! Life is short and needs to be lived to the fullest! Take your time to do new things! We want you to have a story to tell when you are old! Beautiful Nails DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES TO HARDEN YOUR NAILS If you wish for longer nails, you can chose between tips and stencils. ▶ tips are precast nail tips, that are getting glued on your natural nail before the desired shape and length gets done. After that they get mold with the desired material. ▶ the stencil technique works with adhesive templates, which are getting attached around your fingernails

Pretty nails are a must for a neat appearance and we all have experienced problems with soft, thin, brittle and grooved nails. Further, we don’t always have the time and leisure to do our nails and care for them every time the nail chips. Therefore the idea to harden your nails by special techniques is not that bad, especially if you want to save yourself some time – or if you are simply not that talented in doing a manicure. You can also decorate them to make them become an absolute eye-catcher. But what kinds of techniques do actually exist? To avoid you losing track on the several different ways we’ve prepared an overview for you!

GEL Doing this technique the fingernails are getting treated with an ultraviolet gel, which gets applied on the nail. This one hardens automatically under an ultraviolet light. This technique is the most-loved one.

ACRYLIC By doing this technique the nails get mold with a mixture of a specific fluid and acrylic powder. First the acrylic brush gets dipped into the fluid and then into the acrylic powder. Due to mixing these two substances the nail artist gets to have a little pellet she starts to work with. This technique doesn’t require any ultraviolet lights, it simply air-dries by itself!

FIBERGLASS This technique is a reaction of ultraviolet gel and integrated fiberglass particles it also hardens under ultraviolet light. This material is easy to apply, yet it provides stability. However, this technique is no longer used frequently – mostly it’s only used to repair torn nails.

SHELLAC First a base coat is getting applied on your fingernails, then a color varnish before it gets sealed with a topcoat. The nails dry under an ultraviolet lamp. This technique is ideal to protect the own nails from chipping nail polish, since shellac is supposed to last up to two weeks.

SEALING OF NATURAL NAILS In case you are happy with your own nail lengths and you simply would like to harden them, you can start sealing your own nails. As easy as that! The natural nail gets sealed with a gel. After it’s hardened you can filed them down to the desired shape before they finally get sealed with a glossy gel.

CONCLUSION Whichever technique you decide to pick – none is going to be gentle to your natural nails. Therefore we recommend you to give your nails a break every now and then and to maintain your nail bed constantly.

Little Work, Big Difference! If that’s the case, how about you try to get some inspiration by our favorite stars and celebrities. This make-up trend is that easy, you practically don’t even need a mirror to get that irresistible look. We will show you how this is happening: Eyeliner vs. Tight Liner There is nothing prettier, than dense eyelashes and that’s probably the reason why you have already tried different kinds of eyeliners e.g. liquid eyeliners or even eye pencils. In case you are blessed with small eyes, your eyelashes naturally look denser, but on the other hand your eyes probably also look smaller. The solution: Just draw your eyeliner underneath your eyelashes instead of above! If you draw your upper waterline in black, your eyelashes wont look separated anymore and your eyes look bigger. For the best effect, you should be careful not to blacken the waterline too much - otherwise tight

lining will do the exact opposite. So basically tight lining is to blacken the little white flash of skin under your lash line, which makes your eyelashes look a lot thicker. Step by Step to Mastering Your Skills Since the tight liner is applied very close to the eye, you should only use products suitable for sensitive eyes. To make sure your eye pencil isn’t disappearing after a short time we recommend you to only use waterproof gel eyeliners and prepare your waterline before you apply the black color. Take a Q-tip and gently sweep along your waterline until it gets dry. Now, you can start to tight line and make your lashes look absolutely flawless and much thicker than before. Good thing about that, they will stay looking like that all day long! Also, try to draw your gel eyeliner in between your lashes in order to enhance the effect. If you are doing the tight liner technique for the first time, your eyes will probably water a little during application. However, after just a few tries your eyes will get used to it and right after you mastered your tight lining skills and your eyes also got used to it, your dazzling eyes are constantly going to turn heads!

Monique Ganderton Former model, stuntwoman and an actress, we are talking about multi-talented Monique Ganderton from Edmonton, Canada! Well-known for her jaw dropping stunt skills, she now also surprises us by starring as one out of four horsemen named Death in “X-Men: Apocalypse” and can be watched on the big screens from May 19th 2016. We decided to take this opportunity to dig a bit deeper on how life is treating Monique and got quite amazed about what Monique had to say! Starting from her past experiences to her biggest fears, we got to know a bunch of personal things from Monique!

Are there stunts you would pass on accepting? I would definitely pass on a stunt, if I was not able to do said stunt 20 times in a row, no problem or if I don't trust the stunt riggers or coordinator. I'm mature and experienced now and I only want to work with people I enjoy and respect. Life is way to short. Is there any difference to you between acting and doing stunts? If so, what distinguishes them? Stunts is physical performance, physical acting. Acting is emotional performance, which blends into physical with the body language of the character. I think it’s akin to singing and dancing and acting. It’s under the umbrella of performance. You have to be a good actor to be a good stunt person in my opinion. You need to have a grasp on the film making process of camera, editing, story and character. Are there certain roles you prefer playing? I can't really say, but some great friends of mine were in the scene with me and we had some wonderful laughing fits. Cry laughing. Maybe it was the 2 am pre calls! While doing your stunts, have you ever been scared of hurting yourself too hard? My brain doesn't work to be scared per se, but I think about everything, that could go wrong and adjust anything. I then visualize how I want it to go. I’m quite business minded about it. Then at action, I let my body do its thing. Of course there are more dangerous gags, like going through glass, where I expect to get cut for sure, I just don't know how bad. So I kind of shrug and say to myself, keep your hands off the ground and keep your eyes closed. I go through this right before we do a take. I then trust my mind to stay calm after the gag, regardless of cuts or injuries. It’s a strange set of skills for sure.

Is there something in geyou would confess you are really scared of? I don't love jumping into water from heights. I don't know why. I love heights, no wire gag has ever bothered me. No fall from a height into boxes or mats has bothered me… but for some reason water... gives me butterflies. I would do it if I get paid of course, but probably not in my spare time. What’s the best and what’s the worst thing about being a stuntwoman?

Stunt performers are so cool. They are everyone’s best buddy. They help each other out, they are on set all the time and the crew loves stunt people. We get to be creative and design action, perform fun and wild stunts and challenge ourselves physically. This is my favorite thing about it. However my neck is unhappy, my knee is sad, my finger doesn't bend, my spine is squished and my nose is crooked. These are the things that come with stunts. It’s really hard on the body after years of work. No matter how well you take care of yourself. My body is sad, it’s always asking me, why?!

Failure! Pathetic! Talentless! Those negative voices in your head sometimes shout so loudly, you begin to believe them. But stop punishing yourself: we can help you silence the voice of that inner critic. The Inner Critic: A Cynical Envious Person In Your Mind Let’s look inside your brain: deep inside your most intimate thoughts lingers a bitter, cynical pessimist filled with jealousy. He guzzles a family pack of popcorn while kicking back to watch life unfold, offering nothing but negative comments like the most unpleasant cinema-goer. He shakes his head. He tuts! He scoffs! Positivity is invisible to him; he can only see the bad. Let’s put this out there and accept it for a minute: we all have thoughts swirling round our heads, and the inner critic is just one of them. You may prefer to only hear from your sweetest self, but his nasty jibes will always be there. In his eyes, we are failures. He’s constantly comparing us to other people, and never favorably. We leap out of bed in the morning, raring to go, and looking forward to the day ahead. That is, until he muscles in and bluntly tells us that we can never be successful. When something goes wrong in our lives, his cruel and satisfied laughter tells us that he expected nothing better from us. He’s like a disappointed parent, only with one key difference: he isn’t looking out for us. He doesn’t want the best for us. We are excited about our sexy new jeans; he says we look fat in them. We make interesting friends; he tells us they don’t really like us at all. We edge close to professional success; he pushes us right back with a smirk. The inner critic is never pleased about

Constant Self-Doubts, Silence Your Inner Critic!

Tune Into Yourself to Silence That Critic Listen to this inner critic for exactly one week, so you can get to know him better. Note everything he says and at the end of the week, read it back to yourself. You’ll notice, that some of the judgments and comments are totally irrational and unfair. Make a note next to each of those statements, with the reason why the critic is wrong.

our achievements and will always reverse them into neuroses. Nothing is ever good enough for him. If we lose three pounds for the summer, he think’s it’s inadequate. Drop down by five pounds and he still think’s we are too heavy. The inner critic is a relic from the early years of childhood. He is formed from the criticism we hear at home and school while growing up. At that point in our lives, we seem to hear, that the bad outweighs the good and that any small mistake makes us a worse person. Homework comes back covered in harsh, red pen. Where is the green pen, highlighting the strengths of the work? This focus on error has brewed within us and has developed its own voice, which gnaws at our confidence as if it was the family pack of popcorn.

But hey, wait a minute! Do some of the comments seem sort of… true? That’s actually good, too: self-awareness is important, but it would still be unjustified to brand yourself as a failure. Nobody’s perfect! Your minor flaws don’t erase your talents! Think about all your strengths and weaknesses and write a different strength next to each of the valid criticisms. Next time your inner critic shouts you down with an accurate criticism, just reply, “OK, that’s true. But I’m proud to be working on that and I also have many other strengths…” This tip will be particularly effective if you pro-actively develop your areas of talent, which will help boost your self-confidence. Are you a gifted musician? Then make music. Do you write well? Then write about your strengths. Write yourself a love letter to remind yourself of your own value. It’s important, that you really believe the com-

pliments in it; you shouldn’t be lying to yourself, but searching for the attributes you truly admire about yourself. This probably won’t completely destroy the inner critic. He will always compare you to other people, but you will start to realize how pointless these comparisons are. You are you and that’s a good thing. You have your own life and your own successes. Consider yourself through the lens of yourself only and don’t fall prey to comparisons with others (or even becoming critical of others). You won’t be a ‘better’ or ‘worse’ person for this, but you will be happier and inwardly satisfied, which is a worthy goal. Every life is full of achievements: you just need to be able to see them. Refocusing from negatives onto positives is the aim here. Train your brain to realize, that small successes outweigh your mistakes: reverse that negative perception you learnt growing up. Meditate on your achievements and positive feelings; actively acknowledge them and you will notice them more clearly and easily in the future. Every day, write a list of the good parts of your day. Even when something goes wrong, identify the learning opportunity from that and make it into a positive. If you follow these tips for long enough, you will soon render that nasty critic speechless.

A person with healthy self-esteem (in addition to its inner critic) has a cheerleader in their mind, who confidently confiscates the popcorn from the mean inner critic. Without these cheerleaders, our self-confidence becomes starved and withers away. We become uncertain, nervous and we hold onto our failures. Soon, this is the image, which we project to the rest of the world and others will see us as losers, too. Time to make a change, to knock that popcorn out of the critic’s hand and acknowledge our own self worth.

The point is, we are not trying to preach you how to live your life and how to avoid fast food, it’s the complete opposite! Of course eating junk food all the time isn’t the best way to treat your body, but in case you are craving for a double cheese country burger, then you simply need to go out and take a big bite! But what we ask you to is not to swallow that thing down like you are being chased by a villain! Learn how to enjoy again, take each bite on purpose and try to taste every single ingredient of it. If you do so, you will realize how good a burger actually tastes and it will feel like you never had eaten a burger tasting that delicious!

➢2 OLD BUT GOLD Yes, we know… the good old times! Do you sometimes wonder how easy it was back in the day? You were simply chilling on your bed, having braces and really bad acne, but yet you were happily singing songs like “Hit me baby one more time”? Let’s be real, how come you finally got rid of things like braces and acne, but still don’t seem to enjoy life to the fullest anymore? This is exactly why you need to think about old times and make the best out of them. That way you can make new friends or even find new interesting hobbies. Life is full of surprises; you might end up rock climbing with a nice hot guy!

➢5 EAT TASTIER FOOD The so-called daily routines at work: at the office you eat a sandwich and a low-fat yoghurt, and since you are to lazy, well let us say exhausted, you decide to grab a pizza or pasta, again! Slowly, but surely you start feeling like you wrote the menu yourself, since you already have ordered almost every single dish once before. This, no doubt, isn’t healthy, but what’s way worse, is the boring eating routine you unconsciously put yourself into. Why not try something new? The Internet offers a bunch of exotic free recipes and the ingredients can be bought at any grocery store. For example: Have you ever tried Don Diegos Jamaican Banana Pancakes? This would be a great meal for work, as well, doesn’t it? Or as a light evening meal you could prepare a Thai salad with cucumber, red pepper and peanuts. Good thing about meals like these is, they are way much more healthier and tastier at the same time! Despite the nice food you get to eat, your cooking skills improve, as well! Lately the offers of streaming service providers have increased tremendously. According to that every provider has its pros and cons, when comparing the platforms to each other. But which one is best for you? We picked out the four most famous ones and compared them for you.

Amazon Prime is offering one of the most visited video-streaming services and keeps convincing by its huge range of movies and shows in UHD-quality. Additionally Amazon Prime is offering its own show “The Man in the High Castle

We Do When We’re Drunk When you are drunk you do crazy stuff. And somehow everything you do is funnier and you are way much more relaxed than usual. Alcohol makes us fuzzy-headed and with every sip we take it’s getting harder to think clear. As long as we’re drunk it’s all fun – until the next morning, though, when we slowly but surely start to remember all the embarrassment. We’ve made a list about the craziest things people do when they get buzzed to hard. And we’re sure you’ve already been in the one or another situation, too.

#1 Crazy dance moves

Normally you are not known for being the first one on the dance floor. But when you are drunk it’s hard to make you stop and you transform into a dancing queen. Thanks to the alcohol, you don’t even feel your hurting feet in your high heels.

#2 Texting your ex

This is a classic one! Alcohol gets you emotional and often leads to texting your ex. Or it even makes you write him all the mean things, you’ve never told him face to face before or – what’s even worse – you start to tell him how much you still love him and that you miss the time you had together. It’s getting even crazier, when you add sexy selfies to the message.

When you are drunk, a feeling of joy and happiness is coming over you. This energy bursts out of you and out of a sudden you see the world and its people in a different light and you feel the urge to hug everyone and tell them how much you love them.

The alcohol level in your blood increases and your inhibition level drastically sinks, according to that your willingness to go home with strangers is getting higher. Trust, the rude awakening comes the next morning, when you don’t know where you are at, how you got there and who’s actually laying next to you.

#8 To have one too many

It doesn’t sound that crazy, but honestly it actually is crazy. You need to know your limits before you get too wasted and end up at the hospital. Because no matter how nice your night out has begun, ending up at the emergency room definitely is destroying the whole vibe!

#7 Getting filmed

Actually it doesn’t even matter in which situation you are caught. After all every videos of your party night is going to be embarrassing – whether you were caught with crazy dance moves, kissing a guy at the club or while you were talking bullshit into the camera. Basically these videos have to get deleted right away!

2. PROTEIN BARS Protein itself and protein bars are very popular, especially among physically active people. They are great for slimmers, as they provide enough protein that can be missing with a low-fat diet. This only makes sense if the protein content is at least 40 percent, though, otherwise the bar is just a high-calorie snack and comparable to a normal chocolate bar. Cheap protein bars are also full of wheat and soy proteins and are not, suitable for muscle building.

VEGETABLE OIL Vegetable oils are generally considered very healthy, but the contained unsaturated vegetable fats aren't any better for your health, as the saturated fatty acids found in animal fats, such as butter. 4. MARGARINE Margarine causes the same issues as vegetable oil. We’ve been warned about saturated fat for decades, but scientists now know, that a healthy body needs a certain amount of it. Therefore, it can be extremely unhealthy to replace all fats with margarine or vegetable oil. A healthy mix is a better choice, especially as margarine is a mixed product with numerous additives. A study from Australia has even shown, that children are twice as likely to develop asthma, when they eat margarine instead of butter on bread.

5. FRUIT YOGURT The label on the fruit yogurt packaging promises a lot of vitamins and fresh berries or fruit. But fruit yogurt usually contains lots of sugar. The volume of fruit is on average only six percent – the intense flavor is down to the artificial flavorings and the pretty color is due to a dye. Tip: buy natural yogurt and mix it with berries and honey.

t h g li 6. LIGHT EQUALS LOW FAT – BUT IS IT HEALTHY? Just because the label says 'light' does not mean it's a healthy product. Any food can be called light, as long as it contains 30 percent less sugar or fat, than similar commercial products. When the sugar content has been drastically reduced, the amount of fat is often increased and vice versa. When both have been reduced, the product is often full of artificial sugars and flavoring agents. Studies have also proven, that diet drinks can increase your appetite! When you taste something sweet, the brain expects sugar, which never arrives. Insulin is released, and hunger bites. 'Light' products can, therefore, indirectly make you gain weight.

7. FRUIT JUICES Since 2012, adding sugar to fruit juices has been banned in the EU. However, fruit juices are still processed with a number of substances, that don't need to be mentioned on the ingredient list, such as gelatin, enzymes and flavorings. Bentonite is also allowed as it is no longer included in the final product, but is used for the preparation. In addition, fruit juices naturally contain a lot of fructose in general, so it is healthier to eat fruit, than to drink large amounts of juice. A good solution to make fruit juices healthier is to mix the juice with soda water!

8. CEREALS AND FLAKES FOR BREAKFAST? Nuts, fruits, oat flakes and spelt flakes. Sounds healthy, right? The reality, however, is different, especially with cheap cereals, as the proportion of dried fruit is very low and consists mostly of raisins. Cereals and flakes also have plenty of fat and sugar. Even ordinary cornflakes contain 375 kcal per 100 grams and cereals contain between 200 and 500 kcal, depending on the brand. Always read the ingredients carefully before buying and choose sugar-free cereal, which will taste delicious with fresh fruits, even without sugar.

9. FITNESS DRINKS When you do sports, you need to drink a lot. Manufacturer of ports and fitness drinks promise to deliver fluids and essential vitamins and minerals. The body absorbs isotonic drinks very quickly, since the composition of minerals is similar to the composition of human blood. However, the German Nutrition Society recommends, that intense athletes and professionals only need these drinks. Studies have also shown that many health drinks are bad for your teeth, as well.

10. VEGETABLE CHIPS They sound so much healthier, than regular potato chips - but they still have the same negative characteristics! The finely chopped vegetables are fried in a lot of boiling fat and salted afterwards. The heat of frying mostly destroys the contained vitamins and – it get’s worse – the amount of fat is on average 100 grams per 30 grams. Vegetable chips and potato chips, therefore, have exactly the same fat and salt values. Fruit chips often contain a lot of sugar, even if baked with honey. Chips are full of calories, regardless of whether they are made from potatoes, vegetables or fruit.

Desired body standards have always been in a constant change, but for some reason especially one part of our body is being the center of attention for years now: the booty! Thanks to celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian – who are the actual reason for this constantly going butt hype – we all want a round curved, nice butt. Good thing about this part of the body is, you can simply change the way it looks, even without doing any plastic surgeries. There simply are two words you need to take seriously and they are called “doing weights”! It’s as simple as that, because as soon as muscles start to grow, your bottom starts to grow, too. Your butt automatically gets shaped and lifted. Several exercises involve balls or the own body weight to stimulate the muscles. We have picked out the 10 best exercises, so nothing can possibly ruin the next bikini season. There is one important fact about all exercises: if you are able to do more than 15 repetitions you should add some weight. Muscles need irritation to be able to grow.

1 Romanian Deadlifts

At first sight this exercise looks quite easy to handle, but that’s exactly the reason, why there is a bigger chance to do them the wrong way. You wonder how a Romanian deadlift actually works? You simply are lifting weights – that’s pretty much it. You are starting off with 3 sets with 6 – 8 reps, you need to be aware of what’s written below, though: → Put the dumb- or kettlebell right in front of your feet. Your knees are slightly bent. Make sure you keep your back straight. → Now shift your hip to the back and lift the weight while the knees are bent (again, not the back!). Always hold the weight near the body while lifting it. Now, stand up straight and hold the weight with both hands at the same time. → Now push your hip as far as it goes to the back, keeping your lower back straight. You tense your stomach muscles, while you slowly lower the weight. The tension should be felt in the thigh and your bottom.

2 Kettlebell Swing

→ The key to success is choosing the right exercise. Stand up straight with your feet shoulder width. Put the kettlebell between your feet and lift it up with a straight back – only bend your hip. → Now swing the kettlebell back between your legs and inhale. Exhale while swinging the weight forwards again. Use your hip to get a wide swing and pay attention to your back – do not bend your back! Keep swinging the kettlebell for approx. 30 seconds. If you are able to do this exercise any longer than one minute you need to add some more weight.

3 Bridge Bosu

This practice isn’t only lifting your butt, but also affects your upper thighs. For this exercise you are going to need a Bosu Ball. → Lie down on your back, keep your legs bent and put your feet on the flat side of the Bosu Ball. Now press your heels on the ball and lift your hip as high as possible. Hold on for a moment and go back to the starting position.

4 Walking Lunge With Biceps Curl

Lunges are a magic weapon to get an apple bottom. But doing this exercise you also work out your arms – now you can say bye to bingo arms! → Grab a few weights and stand up straight. Place your feet right next to each other and let the weights rest first. → Do a controlled lunge forward with your left foot. Now lift the weights up to your shoulders, keep your elbows close to your body. → Now bend your knees until you reach an angle of 90 degrees. Make sure your knee isn’t touching, but floating above the ground. Your front knee is supposed to be right above your ankle. Lower the weights again, while using the hind leg to go back to the start position again.

5 Squats

Everybody knows how to squat, but we show you how to optimize it! This workout isn’t only lifting your booty, but it enables you to get rid of saddlebags, too. Place your feet shoulder width, first. Stretch your arms out to keep balance. If required, you can add some weights to your wrists. → Now bend your knees and lower your hip. Make sure you parallel your thighs to the ground. Your body weight is resting on your heels. → Get back to your starting position and lift one leg to the side, while flexing your butt muscles. Now go back down with your leg and squat. Do the exact same procedure with the other leg. This is one repetition.

Easy, but quite effective! This workout isn’t only affecting your booty, but your back as well. → Lie on the ground facing down. Start flexing your stomach muscles and stretch out your arms. 7. Lying Hamstring Curl

Workouts you practice on the back often feel easier than they are. But your back is getting trained quite a lot. For this exercise you need a stability ball. → Lie down facing up on a map with your arms at your sides and put your heels on top of a stability ball. Contract your abs and glutes and lift your hip from the map. → Now bend your knees und pull the stability ball closer to you. Your knees should point towards the ceiling at the top, while doing this. Your body should be straight from neck to knees. → Then slowly roll the ball away from you to return to the starting position. → Now repeat for 15 repetitions and 3 sets.

8 Donkey kick with or without weight

This one is pretty intense. In case you don’t have any weights at home, you can also do this one without. → You go down on your arms and knees and start to kick back. Simply bend your knee and start kicking up. → Make sure your elbows stay right under your shoulders, your knees stay right under your hips and make sure you keep your back straight. → If you decide to do this exercise with weights, put some ankle weights on, first. → Do 15 repetitions and 3 sets. To be warned, you are going to feel the pain for days!

9 Ball planks With Alternating Leg Raises

This exercise requires a stability ball. This workout isn’t only affecting your glutes, but your abs and your chest muscles, too. → Put your hands on the ground and put your legs on the stability ball. Then get yourself into the press up position → Now lift your leg in the plank press up position – it’s worth pausing for 1 sec. → Once you have balance and you can keep stable and tight through the core and shoulders slowly lift one leg off the ball and place it back. → Repeat the exercise with the other leg. Every side counts as one rep! → Do 10 repetitions and 3 sets.

10 Use The Treadmill

The treadmill isn’t only used for cardio workouts, but for workouts affecting your butt, too! → Change the angle you are running on. An increased angle is particularly affecting your upper leg muscles and your booty.

Correctement, ventriloquists! Seriously now, can you imagine anything creepier, than a doll talking to you, while starring at you with dead eyes? No? Good! At the Ventriquolist Museum you are going to see more than 800 scary dolls, photos, posters and books! The Phallus Museum in Iceland's capital Reykjavik is hosting more than 200 preserved penises of all kinds of mammals and yes, humans do count as a mammal, too! What’s especially bizarre, is the so-called folklore department, there you can observe penises of dwarfs and right next to them the wieners of elves. 10 – THE MÜTTER MEDICAL MUSEUM (PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA) Here you can walk past over 20,000 pieces, which are resting in a yellowish liquid. At the Mütter Medical Museum in Philadelphia you can watch truly bizarre objects like plaster casts of Siamese twins and Abraham Lincoln’s thorax are placed right next to different kinds of bones, skin preparations and real organs. Further more you can find ulcers, wrinkly embryos or even horrid skin preparations waiting on you!

COLOR-CODED BEACH HAVENS – 11 OF THE BEST

Coastlines around the world boast beautiful beaches, that have their own charm and character, but a proportion of them stand out because of their oddly colored sand. Some of these beaches come equipped with green, pink and even black sand, making them totally unique. From as far north as Iceland, to the southern tip of Australia, color-coded strands not only exist, but they can often be viewed as the eighth wonder of the world so, here's a quick run down of our personal top eleven.

BLACK Puerto Naos, La Palma You couldn't be blamed for thinking a beach with black sand has to be part of a scenic setting straight out of a science fiction movie, but black sand really does exist here on planet earth. On the lovely Spanish Canary Island of La Palma, lies the beachfront of Puerto Naos. It stretches Jökulsárlón, Iceland for several hundred meters and bears a distinctive blackIn northern Iceland, there is a beach with sand created from basalt, which colored strand. Red Sands Shore, Prince Edward Island, Canada The beach Red Sands Shore is located in the province of Prince Edward Island in Eastern Canada and yes, it has red sand. Its peculiar coloring is a direct result of red sandstone mixing with a high concentration of iron. It's not just the beaches though, the jutting cliff fronts and red clay roads and lane ways are such an unusual sight that many tourists fear ruining their footwear in the sea of red dye.

Pink Beach, Komodo, Indonesia It's no wonder Pink Beach in Komodo, Indonesia is such a hot spot for romantic lovers looking for a dream getaway holiday resort. The pink sand lends a dreamy atmosphere loved by tourists all over the world. This peculiar trick of nature is created by microscopic animals on the coral reef, which produce a red pigment. This mixes with the white sand to form the pink hue that the island is famous for. Holidaying couples looking for a unique landscape in a sparsely populated paradise don't have to go any further than this idyllic Indonesian heaven.

GREEN

Papakolea, Hawaii, USA The first thing one thinks of when they think of Hawaii, is the clear blue sky and sea and the surrounding lush green forests. However, it's also home to volcanic activity and it's the lava, which has caused the sand to turn green. The Papakolea Beach is located on the island of Ohau near the Mauna Loa volcano. Dwarfed inside an enormous cinder cone, this beach bay can only be reached on foot, but it's well worth the effort to witness the mineral olivine, which seeps from the rock of the volcano, that lends a green tint to the sand. Hyams Beach, Australia Apparently the sand at Hyams Beach in Australia is renowned as the purest of white in the whole world. It even got a mention in the Guinness Book of Records.

Caladesi Island, Florida, USA The Caladesi Island is located near the city of Clearwater, Florida. There is an incredible stretch of white sand, which holidaymakers compare to powdered sugar. In 2008, this coastal haven was voted the finest beachfront in the United States.

Pfeiffer Beach, California, USA The crystals of the sand at Pfeiffer Beach in California, USA, are washed down from the rocks above turning the sand into a pale violet shade. It's said they can be best viewed after rainfall, or at sunset as the last rays bathe the beach in a purple haze. The beach can be reached by the legendary Highway No. 1, but it's difficult to access and directions are vague at best. Xi Beach, Greece The orange sand at Xi Beach on the island of Kefalonia in Greece is so inviting to tourists because of it's warmth and rustic appearance. The shallow water is ideal in warm conditions for relaxed bathing.

Pink Sands, Harbour Island, Bahamas The Bahamas boasts the Pink Sands Beach. The sand is a light pink in tone, which is caused by small sea creatures that emit a red pigment. These microorganisms are in a reef home, located in the Atlantic off the beach. When mixed with the white sand, the red pigment creates a delightful pink hue that shimmers and shines.

As members of the Def Squad (Red) and the legendary Wu-Tang Clan (Meth), the two genre specialists experienced and inspired the rap scene during the golden age of hip hop and officially established themselves as a powerhouse of hardcore-rap with their 1999 joint album 'Blackout!'. Apart from cooperation with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Christina Aguilera, De La Soul, D'Angelo, Mary J. Blige, Timbaland, as well as tours with Limp Bizkit, Korn and Jay Z, the duo even had a brief encounter with the film industry, shooting 'How High' in 2001. In 2009, they finally set the seal on the continuation of their teamwork with 'Blackout! 2'. Yes, those two have been around for a while and they know their craft: by combining subtle flows with cheeky wordplays, they create a groovy, humorous and absolutely rousing style that proves: a) hip hop is still alive! and b) that the Nineties brought up some good music after all!
