JACKSON

hen Bert Jackson kicked off the third day of Home Is Where The Art Is, he donated all proceeds from the sale of his newest album, “Light of the Son,” to the Cape Cod Arts Relief Fund. “I felt if I was doing this to benefit other artists, I might as well go all in,” he explains.

Proud to Support

THE ARTS FOUNDATION!

With nearly 50 years’ worth of experience as a musician, Jackson understands the power of the arts. “I think playing music connects me to my true self,” he says. “There is something that happens spiritually when you’re playing music, moments when you sort of step outside of yourself and everything is happening and it is kind of an out-of-body experience.” He’s not the only one who has experienced the magic of creating art. Jackson feels a kinship with his fellow creatives, which is why he jumped at the chance to use his talents to support the relief fund. “I think it’s really important to have that fund to help artists out there,” he says.
