Students will take command of Veritas on day
one, steering her through narrow inlets and
wide-open seas under the supervision of their
mentors. ose new to the sport will become
competent sailors while students who have prior sailing experience will appreciate the intricacies of skippering a classic ketch. e program includes instruction in basic yacht handling, navigation, and passage planning. Participants return from this adventure not only with new boat-handling and navigation skills but also with increased self-con dence, leadership and teamwork skills—all while enjoying the Caribbean and the activities associated with it—kiteboarding, wakeboarding, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, waterskiing and windsurfing.
