Besides being some of the best caviar she's ever tasted, she highly appreciates that Black River Caviar is "verified as being ecologically sustainable by the authority of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) and granted top 'Green' rating by the Marine Conservation Institute."

The Altima Summer Album
A
ltima connoisseurs can be found jet-setting around the globe year round, but summertime always seems to proclaim the most unique and fascinating escapes. From exotic African safaris to spellbinding Alaskan cruise excursions, our subscribers have inspired us to add to our bucket-list of must-see destinations. Here, we’ve shared with you some of our favorites...
Tina Holman, Alaskan Excursion with Holland America “The top picture is from Glacier Bay, a UNESCO site. Every person on earth should have a chance to see it because it is simply stunning in its pristine glory. The other photo is part of the Inside Passage, just outside of Glacier Bay. There were lots of whales, orcas and seals too, but I didn't get that great whale tail shot!”
Helmut Koller, Island of Wakaya “Fijian warriors on the private island of Wakaya, which by the way is the only certified "organic" island in the world! For me, the closest you can come to paradise on earth!”
Dragana Connaughton– African Safari
Christopher Fay- Palm Beach Local well-known photographer Christopher Fay captures the beauty of Palm Beach. Right in Altima’s backyard! Click here to see Fay’s album, “The Best of the Palm Beaches” or visit Christopfay.smugmug.com.
Alexis Posada– Napa Valley Vineyards “Cheers!”
Martha and Steve Greenwald– Cap Estel, South of France “My favorite destination is Cap Estel in the South of France. Not many people know about it. It is a very exclusive and private resort in Eze.”
Expression through Butterfly Art
A
cclaimed collage artist, Nadine Kalachnikoff, holds a rich biography. Born in Paris to a Russian father and a Spanish Mother, both exiled, Nadine grew up surrounded by esteemed artists and intellectuals including Dalí, Warhol,
Hemingway, and Mary Pickford among others. It’s no wonder she followed an artistic path herself with whimsical 3-D butterfly collages she recently started crafting in 2012. Her lifelong fascination has now become a lucrative hobby. Each three-dimensional collage is composed of feather butterflies, papyrus and acrylic on canvas, shadowboxed in Lucite. Nadine captures the various movement patterns of butterflies might it be playful dancing wings sporadically placed on canvas or vibrant bursting clusters.
“I’m fascinated by butterflies. They mean a new life, a new horizon. And they’re simply just funnice to look at and to live with.” Nadine has lived in Palm Beach for the past 20 years, with her husband-distinguished Swedish interior designer, Lars Bolander. In mid-October, Nadine will showcase her latest work during a private cocktail reception in Miami, hosted by renowned wellness and rejuvenation expert Dr. Juan Remos.
To see more artwork by Nadine, visit nadinekalachnikoff.com. Please contact Altima at 561 833 8283 or Maribel@altimacclub.com for more information.
