I've been involved in Kiwanis since 4th grade when I joined KKids, and my love for it since then has only grown. Key Club is 100% the highlight of my high school experience, and you all mean absolutely the world to me. Please please pLEASE never hesitate to contact me! I love hearing from you guys, and NO question is bad. You simply GOT to hit me up, so that together we can help the division reach new "heights" and thrive as an Ohana through Service. April April DCM DCM

At the April DCM I had an amazing time. We began the DCM off by the usual update of attendance and the events going on with our clubs in Division 15, however this was our first DCM officially realligned as 15n and 15s! After everyone spoke about their club activity for the month, our LTGs announced our new DLTs! (stay tuned for the next page) and gave them all special treats. We ended the DCM with an easter egg hunt, which kind of flopped due to little kids stealing our eggs, and pinatas! This was a great kickoff to the term, with more amazing ones to come!

Multiple Sclerosis Walk

On April 22nd, I volunteered at the Multiple Sclerosis Walk event. This event was a fun one mixed with hard work and sweat. Our job there was to help set up the event, encourage the participants, and direct cars to the correct parking lot. I was extremely happy to see all the energetic participants at the MS Walk, everyone there has a single goal to eliminate multiple sclerosis all together. Some participants had matching shirts that shows that they walk for family members or friends. Even though my arms were sore from lifting tables and my legs are weak from walking all morning, it was all worth the effort because I know that I’m contributing to my community.

The Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt was a fun event in which Upland Key Clubbers helped set up! Key Clubbers helped with anything from filling up the Easter Eggs to setting up decorations. It felt so heartwarming seeing those kids smiles over a little piece of candy. When the event was all finished key clubbers prompted to clean up the park and give out the leftover candy to kids who did not get as much candy. Even though it was super hot from the sun, our service was hotter.
