LetterFrom The VicePresident Being the new Vice President for our club as definitely showed me the many faced of Key Club and how the club is able to prosper, At times situations do become complicated and stressful, but I find worthwhile and education. Being in Key Club has not only expanded my knowlage of the world but allowed me to explore different parts of my community. I get to interact and familiarize myself with the students on our campus as well as others from a bunch of school around us. In Key Club, I get to improve on my public speaking and leadership skills, which helps prepare me for my future. Also I have had the opportunity to meet great infulential figures and travel to different areas of California to attend conventions or trainings. Deducationg my free time to help those in need and make an impact on their lives is still something i enjoy until this day. Although some events might seem small or meaningless, in the long run it really does help the person in need, I have Key Club to thanks for bringing together a group of talented, sweet kids and allowing me to become go friends with them. I can learn from these students as well as go through highs and lows and still push through until the end. There are friends in Key Club that i know will forever be by my side and give me the lovw and support they always show. Overall, being Vice President has opened my eyes to so many more opportunities and taught me many life lessons that can benifit me later on in life, Key Club is an absolutely great club to which I owe more to. 足Erin Huang Vice President

Butterfield Wild West Night This event was so much fun and very nostalgic for me. Since i used to attend the elementary the event was held at it was very joyful for me. This event occurs every year and is a great way to volunteer and have fun. There were various shifts to apply for. I applied for cotton candy and had a fun but hard time. The machine was obnoxiously loud and cotton candy stuck to my clothes and hair. By the endof the day i was sticky and cold but the entire event was so much fun. Plus free food so that was great as well. This is a super exciting event that I would recommend to everyone. 足 Jake Yoon Secretary

One of the events I was able not only to participate and go to, but plan out was our first Frostbites fundraiser! In this event, everyone in the school was invited to participate in joining us to help raise money for the club and cool down with a tasty treat from frostbites! Frostbites is known for their delicious mixture of a gelato and custard (bomb.com) as well as other desserts. Students were able to cool down from the heat and treat themselves after AP testing! This event was a great experiece organizing and we'll be sure to have another soon! 足 Alyssa Nelson News Editor

Polynesian Club's Annual Luau One of the events I not only attended but was part of this month, was Polynesian Club's Luau. As a member of Poly, I cant stress how hectic preparing luau day was. All of our members had to be on campus by 7am (can imagine how tired we were already), luckily Key Club volunteers came to our rescue YAY! Being the member who was able to set up the volunteering event, I was able to tell them their jobs for the day and see them socialize with poly members. The first thing our volunteers helped out with was with setting up untensils, decor, and food for our dinner show. Not only

did they help out with that, but they were able to help with passing out tickets and so much more. Key Club literally lifted so much weight of our shoulders and on behalf of the club, we couldn't thank you guys enough!! Seeing the two club I care about most collaborate and be one ohana trully warmed my heart and one of the best memories I could ask for!! 足Alyssa Nelson News Editor

New's Editor Note YAY FIRST NEWLETTER!! Making this newsletter was such a great experience and I had so much fun doing this. Editing anything is honestly my favorite because I'm really pretentious so I wanted my first newsletter to be perfect! Although it's not perfect I really hope to learn more about programming and improve the quality and overall newsletter for our club! This club means the world to me so I'm going to give this term my all, learn, make memories, and have fun as much as I can! It was such a pleasure making this and I'll see you guys again next month!! <3 足Alyssa Nelson News editor
