MARCH DCM Jackeline Ngo | DOA E.

COLOR, FUN, DCM, NEW MASCOT AND MORE?!?!?! That was exactly everything going on at the March Division 15 and Division 6 DCM! We joined the penguins division to have a fun event filled with color. First, we all gathered up to have fun doing 4 icebreaker games with a mix of Division 15 and Division 6. After the icebreaker games, we gathered up to check in with our divisions then began each division’s monthly DCMs. Along with the exciting events, we were able to choose our NEW MASCOT!! Through a series of votes and debate, the new mascot chosen was given to Division 15 South and was the… BELUGA WHALE! We are super excited to become a new mascot with our Division 15 North counterpart! After the beluga choosing, we were able to play a capture the flag for a giraffe and penguin! Once we were done playing the game, we were able to toss colors at each other and it was definitely a blast! The March DCM was a great event and we’re super happy to be Beluga Whales!

INTRODUCING

BRE MotherSon & Da Isabella Tan | Tech Editor E. I personally really enjoyed volunteering at this event! At this event, all the members were assigned to various different tasks. Key Clubbers got to help out with serving ice cream, cookies, and refilling ice cream toppings. I got to help out with serving popcorn and it was a blast!! I had an amazing time meeting and bonding with volunteers, while also helping out BRE. It was also really adorable to see all the dads and daughters bonding and having fun! After the dance concluded, we helped clean up around the auditorium and take out some of the trash. Overall, I absolutely loved helping out at BRE’s father daughter dance. It was so much fun interacting with the BRE students and also hanging out with fellow Key Clubbers! I definitely encourage members to attend this event next year!!

& FatherDaughter ance Gina Min | Vice President E. This event was very fun! Not many members came but I was able to get to know my fellow officers better. At this event, we were able to help out at the food area by refilling the popcorn and candy. We were able to enjoy the music and the hilarious dancing. The moms and sons were all having a good time and they had the most adorable matching costumes. One of the moms dressed as Fiona and the son dressed as ShrekÍž it was adorable! For the rest of the night, we just refilled the popcorn and candy and we even helped ourselves to some of the desserts. It was a very fun event and I would definitely recommend this event to fellow members.

CHHS x Ayala Hike Jackeline Ngo | D.O.A E. The Chino Hills and Ayala hike was a super fun event that created memories for the members of Chino Hills High Key Club and Ruben S. Ayala Key Clubs! The members walked with us up the hill and into the middle of Chino Hills State Park from 9am to 11am. We were able to take awesome pictures, talk, and enjoy the nature around us too! Although it was a short amount of time, it was super fun and definitely a great exercise and bonding event. We will definitely plan to have more hikes in the future and we hope you can come out with friends and hike with us!
