INTRO Hello Zilers, Welcome on board the third edition of the Teezily Post! This time is the CTO who commands and introduces you to our August - September magazine, what an honour! How can I start? The platform has been launched only 2 and an half years ago and with my fellow co-founders we have truly lived on a rollercoaster... sometimes the Teezily life can be even more adrenaline pumping than my skydiving sessions! Some of you have joined the Teezily family at the very beginning and have supported us from the start - suffering the times: the explosion of the production after the first successful campaigns, new products, the improvement of the dashboard, the launch of Teezily Plus, the introduction of worldwide shipping... As you can imagine, I am not the only one who spends sleepless nights within our “geeks” team! These summer months we don’t stop working, brainstorming and producing and we have introduced a number of tools that will dramatically improve your conversion rates (you will find everything in the “Updates” section of this edition): the upsell, the new base-prices for cups and phone cases, the DNS store feature, ...

Spoiler alert! I cannot give you any specific insights but I certainly can herald the arrival of some big (I said BIG) news for the Teezily family before the end of summer. The word «vacation» does not belong in our vocabulary. Last but not least, I want to thank again all the participants of the Sellers Advisory Board in Paris and the Teezily Vietnam Open 2016: sometimes real life can be even better than the coding on my screen. Karan Chopra A New Rising Star from Mumbai, India It was not long ago that Karan began his debut in online T-shirt marketing business on Teezily. Even though he signed up on our platform in May 2015, we recorded that he started making serious sales since the start of this year and hasn’t stopped since. Remarking that almost four thousand products were ordered from his campaigns and recently winning our lifetime trip to Kuala Lumpur in Work and Fun Contest, he will travel with his parents to Kuala Lumpur to enjoy our luxurious lifetime trip for a week. We are honored to invite him to talk about his experiences in this game.

A friend told me about Teezily as a platform for T-shirt internet marketing. So I tried then I failed. Not much success in my first year. But after joining a few insightful FB groups in this game, I met the right people with the right information who put me on the right track. Yes, actually I have a background in engineering and work as writer about technology. There are several websites and magazines about technology where I have been contributing to with my writings for the last 7 years. Out of curiosity, I was attracted to Internet marketing and copywriting.

My first 11 campaigns failed, and my first big successful campaign came after 26 designs. Before, we could say that my campaigns mostly failed or had petty sales. As several people have mentioned, selling T-shirts is a numbers game. But yeah, my first big hit sold more than 2k and I often relaunch it at regular intervals to benefit from it. Honestly, the temptation to quit is so strong once you have had a series of failed designs. What works for me is, I take a brief break, go back to learning mode, update my knowledge, research new niches, and come back with better designs (Tip: I use Pinterest a lot). I wish there was some magic formula for overcoming failures in the industry, but most of the obstacles are mainly in the mind. I have made some good friends in the industry as

well who share ideas, tips and tricks and also motivate me all the time. For e.g. my designer is a fabulous guy I know and my best buddy who provides amazing support and shares ideas with me. With them, we have some great future plans of working together.

Considering that you are new to this field, what strategy do en you use to put yourself betwe many sellers who have been establishing their campaign empires before you?

More than the failure itself, the bigger fear which was stopping me was the fear of losing money. But the truth is it takes money to make money - this was a hard lesson for me. It’s important to understand that not all days will be profitable. There would be days when you are in red and that’s fine. Keep moving. Consider that your money is not getting wasted, instead, you are buying some important data that would help you to target better. This has been the biggest hurdle for me to overcome. In fact, it still bothers me while scaling.

Many people are still juggling their full time jobs with online marketing. But in your opinion, do you see making money online ? as a side hustle or full time job

Yes! Talking about future steps, p what is your next plan to develo ine your business and sales in onl T-shirt marketing?

Like I said, I plan to bring it to the next level by hiring a VA and exploring new niches and launching more designs. Moreover, Teezily keeps introducing new products so there is always a variety to offer to your audience which I feel is great. are That’s the truth. At Teezily we always updating and upgrading to be better and provide wider services for everyone, more over people from India. Tell us more about India and the online marketing field there.

With the second largest population in the world, I feel India has great potential when it comes to online marketing both for online marketers and/or customers. Besides, it is a fresh market with cheaper traffic and a huge buying audience. I think it’s time people start looking at India’s online market as it’s just starting to boom. Totally, we see India as a new p rising power in this game. To wra it up, tell us three people that inspired you most.

First of all, I am the one who believes that quality matters more importantly than quantity. Productivity is an issue we all face. In this case, you can very do well selling T-shirts along with your day job. As I don’t design, I dedicate all my time tor researching, launching and playing with ads so 3-4 hours would be sufficient for me each day. However, once you are a bit established you can hire a VA or make a team.

I don’t know about three, but I have two. They are my parents - my mom and dad, and they inspire me the most. I know how they have worked really hard throughout their lives to give me a decent education and raise me to be the person I am today. I came from a middleclass family and I wouldn’t have make it this far without their support. I owe everything I have today to them and that is what pushes me each day to be a better person and make up for all the sacrifices they made for me.

Introducing ITShikkha, our Super Zilers’ Community in Bangladesh! The second most bestselling designs are those about sports. When we are talking about sports and France, we can definitely see that extreme sports are very popular. Parachuting is the most popular, followed judo and then football. The last two mentioned go extremely well with our fifth most popular niche, family. An example is “*insert sport here* maman”.

Professions The third most popular designs are those showcasing someone’s profession. Even in this category parachuting is the most popular, but in this case you have got to target the instructors or other employees and not the parachutists themselves. Parachuting is closely followed by farmers and chefs.

Sellers Advisory Board We are proud to announce the success of Teezily’s first Sellers Advisory Board. On Tuesday June 15th, our team welcomed 9 European sellers for a day of discussion and fruitful exchange. It was the first time that sellers could get an exclusive insight into Teezily and its whole family. In particular getting to know the CEO, Charles and the CTO, Enzo, in person, was one of the highlights for the board.

Teezily opened the Advisory Seller Board by serving some light refreshments and a traditional cup of coffee for a good start to the day until finally every Ziler found their way to the event.

11:30 AM After having some welcoming drinks and everybody had checked in successfully, Teezily took the opportunity to have a little introduction round where each Ziler introduce themselves including their nationality, what they did in the past and how long they have been selling T-shirts online.

12:00 AM Following up this, our sellers got the chance to learn about the latest news and the newest updates for the upcoming months. Zilers were also lucky enough to receive some Teezily goodies.

After a 2 hour session of gathering new insight and information about Teezily, it was time for a lunch break. A good opportunity for the Zilers to get to know each one another better and exchanging experience that they have gained in this business.

14:30 AM Later on, Teezily gave the Zilers the chance to ask the questions they had always wanted to ask. All of these comments and demands were taken into account, and will allow Teezily to keep improving itself, and be more user-friendly.

After successfully closing up the seller advisory board, the sellers got the chance to visit the Teezily headquarters to see the company in action. Hereby, the Zilers got a sneak peek at the different departments of Teezily. It was also time for a little photo shoot in order to capture all the great memories that have happened throughout the day.

Again, a huge thank you to the sellers for making the trip to Paris to meet us. All in all, the day was a great success, and we feel both the sellers and our team benefited immensely from the event. We are looking forward to the next edition, and who knows maybe you’ll be invited back next time!

Teezily Vietnam Open 2016 As many of you know, one of our key principles is represented by a transparent, present and personal relationship with our sellers. Undoubtedly, the organization of networking events and conferences is an essential requirement to maintain such a strong and reliable exchange with our Zilers. Following our successful event in 2015 and one year of booming business, this year’s event was to strengthen the brand image of Teezily as one of the top t-shirt platforms, enhance our partnership with the Vietnamese community of marketers and most importantly, to meet our beloved Viet Zilers in person. So yes, a Teezily delegation went back to Vietnam for an exciting 7 days business tour! If you are wondering why we went to Vietnam... well, the Vietnamese community has become one of the biggest voices in the t-shirt business industry, with a strong presence in all markets and a passion for making money online. It is not only due to the huge number of sellers there, but also thanks to the learning and sharing spirit throughout the community that helps to drive more and more ambitious marketers to the business and make them successful. On the other hand, we do acknowledge that the Vietnamese Sellers Community has largely contributed to the growth and development

of our business. We definitely want to thank all the Zilers that have trusted us, endorsed our long-term vision and strongly believed that Teezily would become a leading platform in the international t-shirt marketing scenario. The Teezily team’s tour in the s-shape country was over the three biggest cities: Hanoi, Danang and Saigon. The main event in each city was our conference, with about 80 participants in Hanoi, 50 in Danang and 100 in Saigon. Many insights into Teezily and market performance, along with our exciting upcoming features were introduced at the conferences. Just to mention a few topics that have been introduced during the conferences: conversion rate, Teezily’s Dashboard, e-mail marketing, printing and shipping times, trademark policies, Teezily +, country tips... We were also joined by local speakers, who are experts in designing, T-shirt marketing, brand building etc, to share their experiences and tips. We greatly value all the inquiries we received during the trip, which is a strong motivation for Teezily staff to keep improving our platform and service. When creating a pokemon campaign... en What you should keep in mind wh creating a Pokémon Go design As we all know the Japanese games giant industry, Nintendo, has recently released an app that goes viral all over the world named Pokémon Go. It is the new internet sensation and probably the most famous app game nowadays which has taken the world by its storm. By creating a virtual connection between game space and the reality, users have physically to move around the real world in order to capture mystical creatures called Pokémon. According to an analyst’s report, users are spending twice as much time on Pokémon Go than on social apps like Snapchat. Moreover, it creates an immense unpredictable social impact worldwide. That’s why launching Pokémon campaigns at the moment sounds intriguing boost sales for the campaigners. Unfortunately, Teezily restrictions in terms of trademarks and copyrights is inevitable. That’s why we have decided to do a short list of the do’s and don’ts, you have to keep in mind if you launching a campaign with an individual Pokémon go design:
