ive of the eight PING pros at this week’s PGA Championship will employ the G30 driver, including drivingdistance leader and Masters winner Bubba Watson. Number 1 in Ryder Cup points and #1 on the money list, Watson has relied on the G30, as have Angel Cabrera, Miguel Ángel Jiménez (a three-time champion this season), Lee Westwood, and Daniel Summerhays. Louis Oosthuizen, Billy Horschel and Hunter Mahan complete PING’s roster.

SCHNELL POSTS 59 WITH 14 PING CLUBS out a 52-degree Tour Gorge wedge from 122 yards for eagle on his final hole. “I guess you’re always trying to hole it,” he said, “but you don’t expect it to happen for a 59.” He had the eagle and 11 birdies on the day. With his G30 driver, Bubba Watson wowed the gallery with a 424-yard drive on Saturday, the longest drive of the PGA Tour season, on the 16th hole at Firestone CC during the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. The tour’s drivingdistance leader at 314.8 yards, Watson is also #1 in the percentage of his drives that have traveled 320 yards or farther, at 43.24%. He is second on tour in strokes gained-driving.
