B
ubba Watson was long and precise off the tee with his G driver on Saturday and Sunday in winning the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club. He hit 19 of 28 fairways over the weekend with his pink-and-black head that highlights its Dragonfly Technology. He navigated Riviera’s slick greens with a custom-milled Anser putter that he used to roll in key putts all week, including birdies on two of his final three holes on Sunday. Bubba’s victory was his ninth since 2010, the second-most of any player over that period, and it elevated him to fourth in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Bubba Watson relied on a G driver and 3-wood to win the Northern Trust Open.
