BUBBA ON TARGET
B
ubba Watson, with his G driver and fairway wood, is displaying the quality of play that makes him the world #4. In his first tournament since winning two weeks ago, he contended all the way and earned a solo second at the prestigious WGC-Cadillac Championship, his third top 10 this season. Watson flashed the power and accuracy of the G driver, in round two becoming the first player in the field to drive the 341-yard par-4 16th hole. With his custom-milled Anser putter he drained a 61-foot putt for eagle in the final round. Bubba was #1 for the week both in strokes gained tee-to-green and greens in regulation. See related story and his What’s in the Bag on page 2.
