PING PROS VYING FOR MAJOR SUCCESS

ubba Watson tees it up at this week’s Masters as defending champion, the second time he’s held that status in the past three years. At this year’s edition, the seven-time Tour winner will be joined by six other PING pros, most of whom have enjoyed exceptional performances of their own at Augusta. Angel Cabrera was victorious in 2009, and two years ago his major mettle surfaced once again as he finished second. Miguel Ángel Jiménez was fourth last year, highlighted by the low round of the tournament, a sparkling 66 in round three. Lee Westwood, since 2010, has finished second, T11, T3, T8,

G30, GLIDE, S55 POPULAR MASTERS CHOICES

he G30 driver and woods, Glide wedges and S55 irons will be out in force among the seven PING pros at this week’s Masters. Five of the seven players, including Bubba Watson, will rely on the G30 driver, which features the Turbulator Technology that has helped Bubba generate the fastest

average ball speed on the PGA Tour at 184 mph. Billy Horschel, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Hunter Mahan employ the G30 driver, while Angel Cabrera has been utilizing the G30 LS Tec driver. Six of seven players have the S55 irons in their bags along with a number of the new Glide wedges.
