PING PROS VYING FOR MAJOR SUCCESS

IN 2014, BUBBA WATSON WAS PUMPED TO WIN HIS SECOND MASTERS CROWN WITH A THREE-STROKE VICTORY.

ubba Watson tees it up at this week’s Masters as defending champion, the second time he’s held that status in the past three years. At this year’s edition, the seven-time Tour winner will be joined by six other PING pros, most of whom have enjoyed exceptional performances of their own at Augusta. Angel Cabrera was victorious in 2009, and two years ago his major mettle surfaced once again as he finished second. Miguel Ángel Jiménez was fourth last year, highlighted by the low round of the tournament, a sparkling 66 in round three. Lee Westwood, since 2010, has finished second, T11, T3, T8,

he G30 driver and woods, Glide wedges and S55 irons will be out in force among the seven PING pros at this week’s Masters. Five of the seven players, including Bubba Watson, will rely on the G30 driver, which features the Turbulator Technology that has helped Bubba generate the fastest

PING putters have won 57 major championships, the most in history. At last year’s Masters, Bubba Watson claimed his second title at Augusta with a PING model, an Anser Milled 1. We recently caught up with Bubba in the PING Gold Putter Vault as he reminisced and offered his keys to navigating Augusta’s greens. To commemorate his 2014 victory, PING has engraved a 24.7-ounce solid-gold replica of his winning putter.
