BUBBA’S DISTANCE DISPLAY
B
ubba Watson is riding a wave of confidence as he prepares for this week’s PGA Championship at Whistling Straits, where he finished second last time the major was contested at the Wisconsin course five years ago. At the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday, he continued his phenomenal season with his second-consecutive runner-up finish. He was longest again off the tee, leading in average driving distance with his G30 driver at a staggering 362.2 yards. His success with the G30 driver (two wins, seven top 10s this season alone) has no doubt helped fuel its popularity.
