INSULATE YOUR TIMBER FLOORS Stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer... Introducing Sealection 500TM

Sealection 500TM is a revolutionary insulation that is sprayed directly onto the underneath of timber floors. The insulation is made up of millions of microscopic cells that simultaneously insulates while providing an air-seal eliminating draughts. Sealection 500TM is applied as a liquid which expands into a foam, curing in just seconds - creating a 100mm (approx) insulation barrier.

●● Save up to 30% on heating and cooling costs* ●● Keep your home warmer in winter & cooler in summer ●● Environmentally friendly ●● Reduce greenhouse emissions Stops draughts & air leakage In one simple application, Sealection 500TM seals and insulates, providing a superior thermal insulation barrier. It completely fills cracks and cavities forming a continuous air barrier that adheres to the underfloor and building components thus, eliminating draughts while providing amazing insulating performance.

Long Lasting

Once installed, Sealection 500TM does not shrink, settle or disintegrate. Unlike most conventional insulation materials, it maintains its efficiency with no loss of R-Value over the life of the building.

Professionally installed

Enjoy greater comfort, save money & help the environment

A home with timber floors when insulated with Sealection 500TM is substantially warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Energy bills become cheaper, because air leakage and floor surface exposure can contribute to a loss of 30% efficiency or more. Sealection 500TM will not only reduce household energy consumption, and save you money - but will also reduce carbon emissions to help improve our environment.

Sealection 500TM is only installed by a fully qualified and licensed Insulfoam Solutions professional. The average home takes around 1 day to complete and your house is completely safe to inhabit while installation is occurring.

* depending on house construction and type of timber floor.

Environmentally friendly, simple and efficient.

OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN CANCER & WELLNESS CENTRE AUSTIN HOSPITAL, VIC

The Austview ActionSashlessTM Double Hung Window was designed and developed as part of an Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) agenda for the Olivia Newton John Cancer and Wellness Centre (ONJCWC). The agenda for the project was to utilise the existing technology, aesthetic and ESD performance of Austview Sashless Windows. Part of its appeal is its high WERS rating, slimline appearance and high quality components. The development of the new, completely motorised, sashless double hung incorporating a concealed 230-240V 50Hz motor, is aimed at providing a perfect solution for passive ventilation and/or building management systems that ensure a building performs at its best in any climate or weather. Developed and designed for special application in Jackson Architecture’s ONJCWC,

a building which is designed to meet and extend the boundaries of 21st century design and performance. Austview ActionSashlessTM responds to the market demand for technologically advanced window systems that ensure buildings respond quickly and efficiently to not only a user’s wants and needs, but to the ever-changing Australian climate. The windows are integrated with the build-

ings automated Building Management System (BMS) with features that include the ability for Austview’s Action-SashlessTM to open and close to respond to the inside and outside climate, such as temperature or rain and the operation of the air-conditioning. This system provides the building and its occupants with year round comfort and reduces heating and cooling costs with excellent passive ventilation. In addition, each window is also able to override the BMS with a manual switch page 8

giving the user direct control of the buildings environment. Further to the architect’s brief, the building’s pivotal design feature is a visual connection with outside. The design promotes wellness through restorative offerings of light, air, distractions and sustainability for both staff and patients.

an important role in this with its ability to seamlessly provide uninterrupted views to outside and most importantly, to be easily operable in the building facade of fixed windows.

BALL BEARING DOOR TRACKS Engineered & Manufactured in Australia since 1880

Charles Marshall P/L is a family run business based in Richmond, Victoria, Australia. Our flagship product is an extensive range of FITZROY Ball Bearing Sliding Track systems.

COMPANY HISTORY

Charles Marshall established his engineering business in Fitzroy, Victoria in 1880. Over one hundred and thirty years on, the company has grown, prospered and is still owned and run by the Marshall family. This unique patented system covers a vast range of applications from light-weight kitchen drawers up to giant one tonne door installations and beyond. Developed in 1932, the unique FITZROY system provides a reliable and simple solution to the challenge of finding a durable sliding door track. A FITZROY system was fitted to the bronze doors in 1932 at the Shrine of Rememberance in Melbourne. Today, that same system shows negligible wear and is still operating with effortless ease. Since 1932 FITZROY has been opening doors on some of the most prestigious architectural projects around Australia.

UNIVERSITY TESTED

The University of Melbourne Engineering Department tested a typical section of FITZROY track. The track was subjected to 258 hours of non-stop opening and closing operation. This means that the test door opened and closed fully 130,000 times, travelling approximately 160 kilometres. PRECISION MEASUREMENT RESULTS WERE IMPRESSIVE. Cage Wear - No evidence of wear on either surface Ball Wear - Precision measuring found no evidence of ball wear. Track Wear - 0.0005", So minute as to be regarded as negligible. CONCLUSION From these exhaustive tests, the wear rate calculated was so low it was not possible to estimate the life of the track.

Although FITZROY boasts installation in such projects as the Melbourne Casino, Parliament House in Canberra and the Sydney Opera House- there are thousands of smaller, but equally spectacular buildings around Australia that have chosen FITZROY. Used universally in the construction industry you will find FITZROY in such places as: • • • • • • • • • •
