BA Year 1 Semester 2: A Place for Crafting Tasked with the challenge of bringing a place for craft into the heart of Liverpool, this project focused on the cities rich boating history and aimed to create a building for boat making. The site on the docks posed many issues such as the proximity to the water, but the finished result anchored to the site shining a new light on the age of boat building. This timber boat shed was inspired by the shape and form of boats and took every design choice to create a ship like atmosphere.
