BA (Hons) Architecture Portfolio Liverpool John Moores University
About me I am an avid learner dedicated to gaining new skills. Fascinated by and value the importance of climate responsive architecture and the reclamation of abandoned sites and materials. Eager to express my interpretation through different mediums. Outside of university I am a travel enthusiast who has visited four out of seven continents with the goal to continue to emerge myself in different cultures and architectural practises.

Inspired by Ebenezer Howards Garden City, this project explores the themes of combining city and rural life .In the transformation of the abandoned railway tracks located in Birkenhead, the project focuses on the values and qualities that this space will give back to the neighbourhood through education and leisure. Through a series of garden spaces with different purposes Birkenhead will be the new city garden which gives back to the community. The agricultural college will be the home for honing agricultural skills through interactive workshops and a private education taught in laboratories. Between the proposed seed bank and college lies the railway which will be used as community allotments in a sheltered space as well as an area for hosting harvesting events and social exhibitions.

In the Trees The design concept for this proposed project is a response to applying biomimetic solutions to how the building works without intentionally shaping the building in a stereotypical biomorphic design. The main programs are demonstrated to showcase how the buildings main purpose is to treat and find cures for tree diseases and exhibit them to the public to be more environmentally conscious. Tree diseases are some of the main causes for deforestation therefore this research is important. 2021 Portfolio Gracious Muzamhindo

Abutting the boundary of Everton park, what is currently the Rupert lane recreational ground used for viewing the landscape of Liverpool is proposed to become a children’s library. Working within the terrain, the design will offer a distinct divide between the primary spaces; entrance and communal reading area. Which will have public access where both parents and kids can share stories in an open and safe space. The primary spaces will be divided by levels to ensure privacy from the secondary spaces, which will occupy the storytelling zones, sleeping area and the play area. 31
