TIMEFORMVIEWImpressive when scoring by a wide margin on his debut at Nottingham and had no trouble following up in 10.2f novice at Newcastle. Took form to another level when narrow winner of Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot. Not disgraced back down in trip when fourth in Grand Prix de Paris and this test will suit.
Each horse has been given a star rating, these are defined below:
HHHHH Selected to win the race.
HHHHI Good chance of being placed.
HHHII By no means out of the reckoning but at least one or two hold stronger claims
HHIII Unlikely to win but not totally without hope.
HIIII Can be given little or no chance.
The BHA Handicappers allot ratings to horses once they have taken part in a sufficient number of races to enable the Handicappers to make a numerical assessment of each horse’s ability.
The principal purpose of the ratings is to determine the weight to be carried by each runner in handicap races, with the Handicappers aiming to provide each participant with an equal chance based on its best recent form under its optimum conditions A horse rated 100, for example, would be set to carry 1lb more than a horse rated 99 (ignoring any penalties or allowances).
The ratings published in the racecard for handicap races are the ratings that were used to calculate the weight to be carried by each horse, whilst in non-handicaps races the rating shown is that of each runner at the time that the entries for the race were confirmed Any subsequently published change to a rating, either up or down, is shown in brackets following the rating.
You must be 18 or over to place a bet
You may be asked to provide proof of your age when placing a bet
If you cannot produce this your bet will not be accepted

At every race meeting at Doncaster our top priority is the safety and welfare of both horse and rider We have a dedicated team of highly qualified vets and doctors following the action at all times and a horse ambulance in attendance at every meeting.
Use of Screens
It is our policy to erect green screens around any horse requiring veterinary attention. This does NOT reflect the severity of any injury, but does help to provide a calm environment, in which the vet is better able to treat the horse.
Please do not assume the worst if you see screens erected around a fallen horse!
In the interest of safety and security, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

BISHOP’S CROWN has been running consistently well and was clear of the rest when second in a maiden over this distance at Leicester in July, so he’s taken to open his account in first-time cheekpieces. Milbanke is considered the main danger and Burj Malinka should put a poor run at this course behind him.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND EDUCATION ACTIVITY
We celebrate the 75th birthday of the NHS. Established practically a lifetime ago, for most of us it’s hard to imagine life without a highquality health service that treats us free at the point of use.
Before the NHS, healthcare was a luxury that not everyone could afford. Nowadays, most people living in the UK don’t need to agonise over the potential cost of treatment –we just expect the NHS to be there for us “from the cradle to the grave,” as its creators promised 75 years ago.
Let’s celebrate, of course. But now, more than ever, it is vital that we stand together to defend our precious NHS.
