LIMITED TIME As we were going through our visual assets for this issue, we noticed a severe lack of contributions from me. Which caused me to remember that I was severely distracted this convention because we were signing a lease on a new apartment and I had to run from the convention to a real estate office to finalize all the details. All of which led to me spending way less time at the show than I would normally spend. With such a small amount of time at NYCC, I had to do what brought me the most joy—hang out at the DC booth. I spent roughly 85 percent of my time getting books signed, getting sketches, and snapping photos of the overcrowded booth when exclusive signings queued up—Tom King and the Titans cast were the biggies during my attendance. So while my time at the show was brief, it was still massively enjoyable. —LV

Luis asked Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon for a Spaceboy sketch. See Page 35 for the whole story. While I waited for Kal to play Lego’s video game, two things caught my eye: Fans boarding and bagging comics they’d just had signed and near empty bowls of pins.
