Poetry, Grace and Movement The Art of Christy Chor By Anne K. Anthony

C

hristy Chor is an individual lover of nature, a storyteller, and a ceramic artist. She is a believer in the poetic and charismatic beauty presented by our mother nature through eternal femininity and its resilience and inner beauty. Nature inspires Christy's pieces of art. Christy is an alumnus of Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada, where she got a BA honour in Craft and Design. In addition, Christy is an enthusiastic participant in the Canadian Art Community. Christy is a promoter of the need for equal treatment of women (Wong, J. 2020). Through her art pieces, she recognizes most women's uncertainty in identifying their potential if they would spread their wings of self-confidence and self-belief. Through her arts, she tells a story of the change that can come from confidence and courage absorbed by the feminine group. Christy's artworks mainly inspire the poems based on fighting for freedom. Christy Chor's various artworks depict human figures representing the female body. It is a straightforward way of promoting females in an unequal society (Del, 2022). Visual art is capturing, and the ceramic pieces are usually expressive, decorative, and domestic hence essential in promoting the unrepresented females in society. Christy is an artist who fully recognizes that the intention and narrative of art are fundamental aspects of creating artwork.

Finally, Christy Chor expressed feminine inferiority through her artwork; hence, some equality discussions have developed. Through the orchestra of wildlife, landscape, and other natural inspirations, Christy enhanced artwork of appreciating and cherishing nature.
