Further into Førdefjorden lies the town of Førde. This small town has grown up around the Jølstra river, as it creeps through the landscape on its way towards Førdefjorden. Shopping centres and cultural centres offers a rich variety of cafes and eateries. Feel free to explore the Sogn og Fjordane Art Museum or the Sunnfjord Museum in Movika while you’re visiting.
