Brussels, Belgium

Futuristic & Universal, since 1958 The Atomium is undoubtedly the symbolic building and icon of the World Fair of Brussels (1958), commonly known as Expo 58. This fair symbolised the democratic wish to maintain peace among all nations, to have faith in progress, both technical and scientific and an optimistic vision of the future of a modern, new, super-technological world for a better life for mankind. The Atomium has become the most important tourist attraction of Europe’s Capital. Five of the nine spheres are open to the public. One of them is housing a permanent exhibition dedicated to Expo 58. Another sphere is dedicated to temporary exhibitions with scientific themes. The upper sphere offers spectacular views of the city of Brussels. When the sky is clear, the view reaches till Antwerp. The restaurant, also situated at the top, is open every day till 11.00 p.m. Communication manager / Strategy / Creative dir / Artistic dir : Axel ADDINGTON
