Key Club aims to cooperate with school principals and teachers to provide high school students with invaluable experience in living and working together and to prepare them for useful citizenship. Our members develop initiative and leadership skills by serving their schools and communities. In doing so, we hope to promote and accept the following ideals: - To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life.

- To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.

Caring Leadership clusiveness ter Building - To promote the adoption and application of higher standards in scholarship, sportsmanship and social contacts.

- To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship.

- To provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render unsel ish service and to build better communities.

- To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will.

Hello everyone, this is Salma Ayub from Austin High School. This month, Austin Key Club is urging our members to seek out and help the community around them. Volunteering is a vital part of our society, and we are trying to get this message across on our social media platforms. We hope that this year’s members will devote their effort and time to assisting those in need, supporting local businesses, and being apart of making the world a better place.

With school right around the corner, the o icers and I are beyond ecstatic to welcome a new group of creative individuals who have a passion to serve our community. We will host an interesting meeting to recruit new members as well as existing ones, and show them what key club is all about. We cannot wait to have these new students join the family, and we know together, our strong desire to serve those around us will only push us forward and make us stronger.

Heyyy Key Club, I honestly can't wait for Key Club to get started, and see how much we will grow as a club. This month was the start of Key Club's second year and I am hoping that the number of members will increase! School has only started about 2 weeks ago and I have received so much support about this club. My goal for September is to gain members to volunteer and serve the community throughout the year.

As editor, I have been working on newsletters for Key Club members to read/look through and keeping the website up to date.

I will always post information that need to be sent out through Remind, Instagram, and our website, so be on the look out.

Update: At our irst general meeting, we will be discussing important information, you don't want to miss out about signing up! I will also be releasing our club shirts for the year :)
