Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.
KEY CLUB 3
I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the Objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and world; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.
Key Club aims to cooperate with school principals and teachers to provide high school students with invaluable experience in living and working together and to prepare them for useful citizenship. Our members develop initiative and leadership skills by serving their schools and communities. In doing so, we hope to promote and accept the following ideals:
To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life. To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships. To promote the adoption and application of higher standards in scholarship, sportsmanship and social contacts. To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship. To provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render unselfish service and to build better communities. To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will.

OFFICER M How time flies!
t n e dis er P
We are starting to come upon a bittersweet time of the year where we have developed amazing relationships but sadly the year is about to end. WIthin February we had our leadership board lead and create so many opportunities for our members. From color a smile to making Valentine's Day cards we were able to help our community in unconventional ways. As we move on to March we are able to continue creating a new and unconventional path of service than ever before. We wish the best of luck to everyone applying to become an officer. We have a record-breaking number of applications this year however you never know what might happen. To conclude, as we close up the year we look forward to creating a stronger bond relationship with all of you guys!

Hey Key Clubbers!!
because I am looking forward to an exciting time in April. In February, we've had the Green Uppers opp., made Valentine Cards for Hospice Patients, and Color a Smile. Great job to everyone and their efforts into our opportunities this month! Currently, we are going through the process for next school year's officer board and I am highly looking forward to it. This year seems to have so many applicants that want to become an officer, and I wanted to wish everyone good luck that are running

AA RR TT II CC LL EE SS What we are looking for to this month?
Key Club’s goal is mainly to make the world a better place. Since Valentines day is during this month, we are trying to spread love across many hospitals to the individuals who are struggling. We are looking forward to make people happy. We know a lot of patients are not able to meet people who are extremely close to them, so we want to show them that there is still light at the end of the tunnel. For example, we are in the process of making valentines day cards for Hospice patients. Additionally, we are making cards for staff as well. We know that currently the staff members are having a much bigger burden because the outside community cannot come in, they do all the extremely hard tasks. We are making videos/emails/blankets and pillows to help everyone smile. Plus, key club is also looking forward to making cards for Texas children’s hospital patients. We are writing upbeat and positive messages for a variety of patients including cancer and blood disorder patients. This is an imperative and incredible opportunity that is happening this month. Even though we are small high school group of students, we strive to make the world a better place and to make everyone have a smile on their face. Additionally, my friend and I created this powerful service opportunity for members to join in. It is called Green Uppers. Our goal is to see the progress of how impactful the specific type of recycling we are doing helps the environment. By this month, we would see if we can further improve for the better. Key club is going to be achieving a lot this month. I am looking forward to accomplishing all of these assignments to help the patients and staff make their life a lot easier. - Sakshi Nair
Key Club Resolution
My goal for this 2021 school year for Key Club is to efficiently put in more effort than I did in 2020 to opportunities and volunteering events and organize my work for an effective and useful school year. I feel like I was all over the place and not as organized as I desired, resulting in me becoming stressed and not as motivated to get the amount of points to my full potential. Putting in more effort is a significant goal in regards to Key Club because I want to be able to show that I am committed and present to the club. I want to be able to give a better performance to meetings, events, etc. My work ethic is important especially in the first year, and I recognize that for this second semester of the year. Another goal for the 2020-2021 school year is to be caught up and fully controlled of all my clubs since I am in multiple, in addition to school work itself. Looking back at 2020, I would often get mixed up with clubs and it would confuse me a lot. Being attentive to my work and separating them apart from each other will improve my presentation overall. In conclusion, My main two goals for the year are to simply put in more time and effort into opportunities and events and to have all my work and other responsibilities to be under control. As a result of my resolutions, I am able to have a great start to my freshman year and create a good work ethic with the help of clubs and organizations. Doing so will benefit the effectiveness towards me and others in need when considering the opportunities given to us .

Key Club throughout 2020-2021
Key Club is a great organization in Austin High School to join because it is a wonderful environment to be around since you can give to others and make new friends within Key Club. Key Club allows people to create good bonds with people through being kind, respectful, caring, and enthusiastic. I am having a wonderful experience as a new member of Key Club because it has allowed to become a better person and meet new people virtually so, I am excited for what Key Club will offer in the new year of 2021.
I joined Key Club with the purpose of meeting new people and being able to provide for the community. It was particularly important for me to try something new and I believe that Key Club was the perfect club for me. Not only does Key Club allow you to make new friends but it also makes you become involved with your community by helping others, giving to others, etc. In 2020, my favorite memory that I will remember is the first service that I did which was the School Supply Drive. The School Supply Drive was my favorite because I was able to provide other students material that is needed to be at school, and I was also able to meet some of the officers in Key Club which was a great experience. I think Key Club is a wonderful club that provides a lot of fun opportunities so, I am very enthusiastic about what 2021 has to offer for Key Club.
The year of 2020 was a great semester for Key Club because there were a lot of services that I had done which was the school supply drive, teacher appreciation letters, Key Club winter workshop, etc. I believe that this new year for Key Club will provide many exciting events and services which we are all excited about. Key Club has already started planning this year since we had the first meeting of 2021 which was interesting. My Key Club New Year’s resolutions are to be more involved with events that are face to face even though it is a challenging time due to Covid-19. I am excited for what the new year has in store for Key Club and its members!
I believe that Key Club is a good option to join within Austin High school because it allows students to be more involved with their community and to be caring for their community. Last semester was a great first-time experience with Key Club and their officers because I was able to meet new people and provide to others. I am very enthusiastic about what the new year has in store for me and my peers within Key Club!
