Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.

KEY CLUB 3

I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the Objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and world; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.

Key Club aims to cooperate with school principals and teachers to provide high school students with invaluable experience in living and working together and to prepare them for useful citizenship. Our members develop initiative and leadership skills by serving their schools and communities. In doing so, we hope to promote and accept the following ideals:

To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life. To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships. To promote the adoption and application of higher standards in scholarship, sportsmanship and social contacts. To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship. To provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render unselfish service and to build better communities. To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will.

OFFICER M Hey Key Club! It's been a while since my last message, but I hope

everyone had a great Winter Break! I celebrated Christmas, New Years,

t n e dis er P- V

and my birthday, so my break was definitely filled with lots of plans and fun events. Now that 2021 is here, this means that we have new plans for this semester, and I really hope all members can participate as much as possible. I know many of you guys are probably dreading that school is coming up again, but don't worry too much! Key Club will be here to ease your stress, and we will accompany members with exciting events this semester. During this semester, we will start the Officer Position process soon, and it might seem like we we're really far from the next school year but you'll see how fast this semester will go by. We will also be planning for our end of the year banquet and members are invited of course! I am especially excited about this years banquet because we get to celebrate all the events we have accomplished this year and award those that have done so much for our club. Hopefully, you guys will be able to meet our Division 3S LTG Graciela Bachu at our banquet, she is such an amazing person. But with that being said, let's have an fantastic year together!

Yours In Service,

Britney Nguyen 5

You all probably hear this a lot, but the school year does go by fast! Before you know it, you're studying for finals all over again, and some of you will uphold a new officer position! I hope you all are ready for what's in store. An event to look forward to is the annual end of the year banquet! We hope to have it this year to commemorate all of your guys ' hard work this year! Have a good rest of Winter Break!
