AMA COMMITTEE & VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Get Involved and Maximize Your Membership Value AMA membership provides many opportunities for professional involvement through services on various committees. These committees provide the foundation on which the Arizona Multihousing Association bases its programs and events. ARIZONA MULTIHOUSING CHARITABLE FOUNDATION (AMCF) BIG HEARTS COMMITTEE 2021 Phoenix Chairs – Tina Greco, Burns Pest Elimination, and Michelle Sinclair, Evergreen Devco, Inc. 2021 Tucson Chairs – Linda Morales, Sabino Canyon Apartments, and Natalie Evans, Apartments.com Regular and Associate Members – Meets Monthly Raises money for and determines the direction of the association’s charitable causes. AMCF Big Hearts includes the Julie Hurst and Steve Peters Education Fund scholarship which is available to AMA members and their dependents for higher education. COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE 2021 Chairs – Conor McManus, Greystar Regular and Associate Members – Meets Every Other Month The Communications Committee serves to assist with AMA’s communications and branding efforts. The committee works to ensure the association is enriching the experience for its members, potential members, suppliers, leadership and other key AMA audiences, and presenting itself as the industry’s thought leader and excellence in customer service. EDUCATION COMMITTEE 2021 Chairs – Rachael Kish, Shelton Residential, and Bry Carter, The Phoenix Staffing Regular and Associate Members – Meets Monthly Sets the direction of each year’s educational programs, including topics and speakers for dinner meetings and educational seminars, including those at the trade show.

TRADE SHOW COMMITTEE 2021 Phoenix Chair – Linda Coburn, NextMetro (Combined with Events Committee) 2021 Tucson Chairs – Kimberly Barrow, MEB, and Matt Taylor, Burns Pest Elimination Regular and Associate Members – Meets monthly leading up to each event Plans and executes the annual trade show in Phoenix and Tucson. The committee determines the theme, plans special events, builds attendance, and helps market the event to the industry. The Tucson Committee plans the education conference portion as well. GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE 2021 Phoenix Chair – John Carlson, Mark-Taylor Residential 2021 Tucson Chairs – Chris Evans, HSL Asset Management Regular Members ONLY – Meets Monthly Except July and August Determines the direction of the association’s lobbying and government relations activities, sets the policy direction for state and local advocacy efforts, and works to educate members on legislation and regulations impacting operations. • DEVELOPER SUBCOMMITTE — Continued on page 14
